Review So Good Asian Cuisine - Wolli Creek

Mala is the spicy, prickly, numbing feeling when you eat specific types of things like peppercorns, some cloves. If you know how much you can eat, this is a great place to go. Portion control is key. The laksa is a great option for soup; if you want something a bit more spicy, go for the chilly pot or malatang.

This place has less customers than the other Malatang place but I like going here more. The other one isn't bad but this one is just way better in terms of taste. Price is alright. The dry wok has been my favorite so far (goes well with rice and softdrinks). Only a few minor downsides: Options have no labels and they barely speak english so it's kinda tricky to know what you are getting. Also the place has no music or much decor at all so the ambience is not that great. But overall the taste and quality of the food makes up for it.

Compared to the other malatang places, it's nice and quiet. The soup is maybe a tiny bit bland, but you can add your own seasoning to taste and when it's not too salty, you can enjoy more of the soup!

I never thought I would pay $28 for a Laksa. Big bowls do it was a big dish. Didn't get anywhere near finishing. Good idea, maybe I should of loaded up a lot less fish

Food is ok. Very good price. Good quantity. The soup base is too strong.

Keep an eye on the scales! The laksa soup here is great but sadly won’t return. Management seems to have changed recently and my bowl of food came to $21! Which I thought was rather steep but still paid. When my food was ready, went back to the counter and noticed the now empty scales were not sitting at 0g weight. Definitely some overcharging happening here....

I’m a rookie eating this type of food and funny enough we went to the place opposite which had the same type of food but it was full so we came here which I’m happy about. You pick what you want and the price is dependent on the weight. Plenty of choices I enjoyed the non spicy soup broth but my main issue here is there is no labelling of the food. You have to ask and if you don’t ask what broth you would automatically get the spicy broth! Lucky we asked! Maybe because I’ve rarely eaten this but I enjoyed it though the wait was longer than expected especially when there wasn’t many people inside

more tasty, more clean than another restaurant across the street.

Everything tasted amazing, me and my friends have been here a couple of times and everyone's happy with what they got. Will definitely come back again!

Favourite place for Malatang. Opens till 10 pm so late night craving friendly :) the soup base is very nice as well. Price and service are both great.

I had high hopes for this place from the moment I walked in. The exterior and interior is very modern looking and welcoming. I think the concept of this restaurant is very creative and unique as you are able to make your own personalised Asian soups. However once I made my soup and started eating I instantly felt sick. The broth alongside all the toppings in the soup had a very odd taste, and I feel like it's not for everyone.
The service was very good and the staff were friendly. The serving sizes are very generous and reasonably priced.

Across the street from the main square of eateries is Aroma street. At first it looks like a sterile canteen area wined with options, trays and tongs. This place is actually a DIY noodle and soup bar. Just pick your noodles, protein & toppings and they'll chop it into bite size pieces and cook it in a tasty soup. Their signature soup is a great base but you can add garlic, sesame, chilli, vinegar as you like at the end. You pay by weight and at $8 & under for a large, hearty winter sized helping, we were very happy.

I recommend checking all the options before making your selection and not overloading. We didn't put too much in our bowl but left very full.

It's rather a fun and novel experience too. Would go again
