We had a fabulous dinner at this lovely authentic Italian trattoria. We really enjoyed the food and the octopus was especially yummy. The service was very attentive. Would definitely recommend this place.

I know we booked late in the peace but we were made to feel so welcome and loved. The food to be frank was amazing and the service was incredibly attentive and perfect. All 3 courses were each light and impressive. I will be back which is a big thing for me

I had originally tried to make a booking and was sadly told there was no availability for dinner. We were only in Wollongong for a few nights. Not long after I received a phone call from the owner stating they had a table as they just had a cancellation. That was impressive as I didn't leave my number. We were greeted and seated by friendly staff in this small personable restaurant. There are no menus available and it's all written on a blackboard. Very different and actually refreshing. We then realised it was BYO which I hadn't bothered to check. So after the owner recommended homemade pasta to my husband he advised there was a shop nearby to get a bottle of wine or whatever, if we chose to. By the time we returned dinner was ready. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his pasta and I had the lasagne which was amazing. It felt family-like. To top it off garlic bread. We weren’t rushed or hurried to eat and run. The owner spoke with pride about making his own dishes with the odd story about his Italian homeland on the side. This was a wonderful and personable dinner. Highly recommend.

Steak seems to have been seasoned only with salt and pepper, but the seasoning was just right, so no other sauce was needed. Proscutto and buffalo mozzarella cheese were also fresh and appropriate in quantity. It was successful. I should order dessert next time. There must be a reason why others recommend it.

A nice quaint Italian restaurant. I was looking forward to having a pizza but they don't serve pizza at this particular restaurant. Nonetheless we were greeted by the friendly staff and were lucky to get a table on short notice on a weeknight. The garlic bread was quite small but the bread was nice. The antipasto board was good and the gnocchi was beautifully soft, with a simple tomato sauce. Dessert of homemade tiramisu and frangelico Panna Cotta was devine. The waitress was extremely accommodating and took care of us.

Great dishes, super nice staff. Perfect Risotto, Ricotta, and amazing cheese cake. Even my baby son eats quite a lot.

A great local! A must try for anyone in the area. Very homely feel. Basic decor but only the best service, the friendliest recommendations even with wine pairing and off course super delicious food. The waiter/owner even recommended what two dishes to eat so they compliment each other! I love this! Will be back!

We walked in without a booking on a Saturday night, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. We'd only been once previously, but this occasion was far superior. We had a fantastic Italian dining experience. Soooo much yummy food. The atmosphere was really nice too, as everyone was talking and laughing. We are very much looking forward to dining there again in their new premises on Corrimal St.
