Warm & friendly staff, very authentic and delicious food, priced well for all budgets and the staff were personal and fun. I look forward to coming back soon.
It was funny that when we told our host that we are going there, she told me this place is very hard to find car park, BUT they have car park at the back!! We loved here, amazed by the taste and look of the food, and most importantly the price!! Tom yum soup is so delicious, soft shell crab,prawn salad, pad tai are all yum yum. Well this is not somewhere very luxury and decent, but the food is absolutely delicious! We love Wollongong xxx.
I love this place, my boyfriend and I have favourited the pad see ew and the basil stir fry, we've had both with tofu and vegetables and always order these two. The food is pretty cheap and meals have always arrived very quick, even with deliveries. I'll always come back to this place, the most authentic Thai in Wollongong for sure.
Only had one dish, the chicken pad Thai, it was really good. Good lunch special price and a quick detour off the highway. Happy with the quick service.

Used to takeout their packaged meals for 2 or 3 coz well it worked out cheaper as even more people could eat from it. Yes we were college kids who loved Bangkok Balcony's Thai food a lot.

Love it! All the dishes I've tried have been full of flavour and well cooked. Fantastic prices too. The home delivery is always really quick.
This place may seem small and unappealing but... It has the most delicious and authentic tasting Thai food, with very friendly staff and the meals are extremely well priced.
I love this place as do my whole family.

Another amazing experience with Bangkok Balcony. First I love how everything is cooked to order. If i arrive and it's quiet (not often!) then my food is ready in a few mins. When there is a crowd sometimes I have to wait 5-10 mins on average, well worth waiting for freshness.
I ordered a selection of dishes to take to working lunch and everybody raved about their food. I dont know how anyone could complain with the portions or the costs. It is still the best value I can find in town or anywhere around. And the staff couldn;t be more helpful or considerate. Keep up the great work and wonderful food.
My favourite Thai restaurant period! I’m from Sydney but whenever I’m down in Wollongong and feeling like Thai, Bangkok Balcony never disappoints.
What I love about this place is the food is always flavoursome, fresh and great value for money. I’ve never had a bad meal or experience here. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is always clean. It does get busy here from time to time and there aren’t much seats inside, so get in early or takeaway is always an option.
My personal favourites are the Bangkok Balcony Noodles, Pad Se Ew and their salads are fantastic!
10/10 for Thai food in Wollongong!
Love this place. Great flavours, quick service. The lunch special is soo good! I've only had takeaway but I always enjoy my meal. Great staff, clean restaurant, no long wait, she's a winner!
Most underrated Thai restaurant! Beats any other within the surrounding areas! Everything on the menu is delicious and is always super fresh!! I eat here weekly and never have been disappointed! Staff are lovely and their $9.50 lunch special is amazing!
Come here for the flavours, nothing fancy. Just amazing flavours and taste.
I hope more and more people have discovered BB. Fun to eat in as well with the open kitchen, if you like the smoky wok vibe, and seeing some good stir-fry flipping. Bangkok Balcony use their own delivery driver, so if you are looking to cut out third party delivery companies squeezing local small restaurants. It's a great choice.
Always good veg in the dishes, and whenever I've had duck it's been both delicious and plenty of it. As well as curries and trad noodle dishes like Pad See Iw and Pad Thai, there's a noodle bar mix and match,
so you can do you.
