Tried this pub on the off chance it might be worth the try as we were too hungry to make it all the way to our usual spot in Harndorf and WOW!!! what a lovely gem in the Adelaide Hills. We were greeted by friendly staff in a quaint dining room with a cozy open fire. Lots of quirky things to give character to the place. They had soft music creating a relaxing atmosphere. The menu was typical pub grub with a range of burgers and pizzas and for a twist - offered an Asian menu as well. We went for the schnitzels which were from the local butchers. Wow, best ever and the veggies were sprinkled with extra love and flavour. The best pub meal we have had for a very long time. Chris had the plain gravy and it was awesome ( yes I dipped my chips in it) and I had the garlic prawn sauce which soaked into the beef schnitzel. Yum, simply yum. The value for money was amazing and with the entertainment book voucher giving 25% off, was a bonus. We thought about having a coffee to follow our meal but were both so full. A stroll up and down Woodside (sadly most shops shut as it was Sunday) finished the lovely day out. Thank you Bedford Hotel!

Recommend a visit! The dining room has been refurbished and there are plans for other areas too - the pub menu choices were extensive and the addition of the Asian menu and Pizzas offers a great choice.
This is a GEM of a Hotel in the Adelaide Hills, first time eating there for us,and well worth the drive from Adelaide, the Asian Menu is simple, but so well done, best Sweet Chili Prawns I have had outside Asia. Thank all staff for a wonderful Sunday afternoon.
