I am sorry to hear that Tervis had a negative experience at the Art Gallery. We have been to Woollahra and the Art Gallery restaurant and have never been disappointed with a meal or the eservice. We go more to the Art Gallery restaurant as it is a pleasant way to finish a morning at the art gallery. We were there again this Sunday with the same friends we usually go with and we commented that in all the time we have been eating at the Chiswick Restaurant at the Art Gallery that we have never been disappointed with a meal. Regardless if it is the entrée, the main course, or the desert. (we always have something different). We have always found the staff attentive and friendly with a good sense of humour without being intrusive.
We took our Mother for her 80th Birthday to Chiswick at the Art Gallery and it was amazing. The food was outstanding! We ordered fish and the lamb shoulder which was unbelievable. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a lovely occasion. The service was good and the venue lovely. Thanks for a special afternoon.

What a nice location. Our food here exceeded our expectations, great selection of food with beautiful produce. we came on a busy night and they service was still great. Drinks list also had a good selection of wine and cocktails. Definitely great value for money and would come back in a heartbeat!

All the dishes we ordered were fresh and delicious however the portions were a bit too small in my opinion.
We ordered:
• Tempura whiting, rocket mayo, warm brioche bun $12
• Pipi linguini, bottarga, chilli, lemon, garlic $36
• Hand cut chips, Chiswick ketchup, celery salt $15
(The Chiswick ketchup tastes exactly like Smith’s Chips in the barbecue flavour but in sauce form!! So bomb)
• Peach pavlova, lemon verbena, cream $16
• Chiswick mango and coconut splice $16
• Peach Old Fashioned cocktail $20
Also ordered one of their specials but I forgot the name or what it consists of exactly. All I remember is that it contained 3 different cuts of meat, salsa verde and onion rings.
Chiswick’s ‘Summer Collective Menu’ was the perfect lunch.
Mains: Whole Roasted Chicken with Sugar Snap Peas, Kipfler Potatoes and Tarragon🥔 & Moran Family Lamb Shoulder topped with Chermoula and served with Eggplant and Pomegranate was the perfect lunch.
Dessert: Chocolate hazelnut mousse with raspberries and marble chocolate & Lemon and basil sorbet with blueberries and shards of meringue.
Chiswick restaurant grounds was a perfect backdrop for a summer wedding. The rustic, elegant charm was a continual theme in the dining room and food. This was the first wedding I went to where I absolutely loved the food, it was rustic, country kitchen chic, bountiful and delicious. Matt Moran has definitely lived up to his world renowned culinary excellence here at #Chiswick
The service here is AMAZING!!! The food was so fresh and different, the vibe was awesome and I had one of the best lunches I’ve had in a long time. The only fault I can say is that I don’t eat seafood and the table I was at ordered a bit of seafood so I didn’t get to try too much on the menu but what I did try was fantastic as well as the wine! Looking forward to returning
Went for a friend’s birthday lunch and was not disappointed. The food was amazing, all local and seasonal produce done well - the duck was the star dish for me. And to top it off, the venue was so picturesque and the staff were lovely and so accommodating. Would definitely return!
Seasonal menu but every dish is exceptional. I would highly recommend ordering the Moran Family Lamb. So tender, huge portion and to feed x4 people. Their handcut fries are delicious as well as their fresh salads and condiments straight from their garden.
Divine dishes all cooked with good flavours and pleasantly presented, the crispy duck and chocolate hazelnut cake were a favourite amongst everyone. Service was amazing and staff were super friendly and attentive, their own freshly grown garden and views onlooking the outside whilst eating was also a bonus. Would definitely visit here again!!
The building looks traditional English tea room style located on a fair land of garden. Has its own back garden growing some of its own veggie. Heard the restaurant has its own farm for lamb which is on the main. It's very delicious. Desert is not bad too. About $80 per head will do if you don't drink too much. Good value for money.
Chiswick, situated in Woollhara is tucked behind a gorgeous garden at the front. It is the perfect location for lunch with friends and family.
The last time I came here was two years ago with family and the food and service was great! Their food menu changes seasonally due to their local produce. For entrees we had the Salmon, Zucchini flowers and the Crispy duck. The Crispy duck was pretty good but I wouldn't recommend the Zucchini flowers, they tasted abit strange for my tasting.
The standout for me was the Sirlon Steak with the asparagus and greens. I have no idea how they cooked the asparagus, but every small piece was mouthgasm! :)
Amazing restaurant! We were lucky enough to visit when Bombay Sapphire were doing a pop-up gin bar on the front lawn with complimentary canapes so that sweetened the deal! The gin selection of drinks in-restaurant is great though - I'd recommend the "Gin Mare". My husband had the pork and I had the "Barra-in-a-bag" - so good. Love the vibes of the place - classy but casual.
The interior, exterior and service at Chiswick is absolutely lovely! I enjoyed my time at Chiswick and the vibes of the restaurant was nothing short of amazing. For entree we had the oysters, crispy duck, prawns and a salad. I specifically loved the crispy duck! Soooo delicious and the flavours worked so well with the addition of cabbage and lettuce. For the mains we had chips, greens, pork knuckle salad and a pippi linguine. I loved the pippi linguine (recommend) and the chips - minus the sauce (we had to ask for tomato sauce). Dessert was a let down (fig tart), but they gave us complimentary truffles (so good!!!!) and a small mud cake for my friends birthday which was divine!

I visited this restaurant with my wife for our wedding anniversary after family friends have been hassling us to dine here.
I called them and thanked them for hassling us as this restaurant was absolutely spot on.
The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious and the service was good.
We know of Matt Moran but had never tasted his cooking and now we know why he is one of - if not THE favorite Aussie chefs in Australia.
Our entree was ricotta dumplings and this was a explosion in the pallet. It was full of flavour. Absolutely delicious.
We also ordered a steak for main cooked medium rare and this was actually cooked medium rare + a slamon which was again cooked spot on perfect.
All the meals we had were delicious and full flavor, can't wait to go back again soon.
Now for the cons:
1- Some of the seating were very close to each other to the point were no one was comfortable to talk as the diners next to them would be able to listen. My wife and I were fortunate enough to be able to speak a second language so we can have a private conversation however the restaurant would need to review it's seating arrangements. It is better to lose a few tables for in turn a comfortable and relaxing dining experience that would make diners come back again and again.
2- The only reason I didn't give this restaurant a 5 star was because of the menu that contained a little printout inside that was supporting a 'event' that occurred in Australia. I think this restaurant should stay out of politics and concentrate on continuing delivery great food. Remember - Diners come from different backgrounds and believes and it is not great to advertise something that may insult them.
3- Because some of the tables were bunched up, waiters and waitresses found it hard to collect plates and even see who was waiting to be served. After giving us our dessert menu, we waited approx 10 to 15 min to have our order taken. Though I must admit, it was worth the wait...
Aside from the above minor cons, it was a great afternoon lunch. Thank you and I look forward to dining here again.
Dined here for the first time for a special occasion. The renowned lamb shoulder here was a bit of a let down. Without a doubt it was falling off the bone, and the herb/mint rub was also a good complement. However, as a piece of meat I felt it needed like a sauce/more than a dry rub to bring it together. Some other standouts were also the duck entree and the chargrilled eggplant which had a lovely smokey flavour. We ordered a few drinks which were nice as well. Note we did find a bug in our seasonal greens but I guess it's fresh from their garden so it can happen :P The exterior and interior of this restaurant is really elegant and definitely adds to the experience. Some dishes were average tasting, but you can see the care put into them. Service was also friendly. Overall, quite enjoyable, clean yet tasty dishes, but might not be rushing to come back :P
I had been wanting to frequent Chiswick for some time now having heard that it was co-owed by celebrity chef, Matt Moran. Just a few months prior, I had frequented Aria Brisbane (another one of Matt Moran’s venues). There, the menu was delicate, contemporary and gastronomical. Chiswick had a reputation for being meaty, wholesome and raw, yet everyone was heading to Chiswick, so I was intrigued as to what this restaurant was all about.
Definitely one of my absolute favourites. Food is always consistently great and they have an awesome alcohol menu too! The Collective menu is abundant and you will not be leaving hungry. The lamb is the ultimate. Don't even need the knife, it literally falls apart with the fork. For dessert it's the banana parfait that won me over. So creamy and the right amount of sweetness.

Chiswick is a chic bistro in a greenhouse with kitchen garden, serving seasonal, Modern Australian food.. Situated in Woollahra, it is owned by Matt Moran of Aria fame. We came here to celebrate a friends birthday and were able to try many of the dishes.
We ordered four entrees, the first being the roasted baby corn with dill and pine nut. This is a signature Chiswick dish and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed given I am not a huge fan of baby corn, but this was so tender and full of flavour that it has soaked in.

Located in the heart of Woollahra is the beautifully modernistic yet classic style white restaurant Chiswick. Overlooking a beautiful garden setting the scene like a movie. It is a good place for a nice long lunch even with kids, as they can run in the garden whilst you eat and chat. The restaurant itself faces the garden with glass doors for everyone to see. The service was very good and we were never left with anything empty or waiting for long periods of time. However don’t be surprised by the prices they are not the cheapest.
The food itself was delicious and because we went with a group we were able to order quite a few dishes to properly sample the menu. As entrée’s we grabbed the steak tartare, some leafy salads. For main meal with got a crab linguine, fish and chips, the salmon, the roasted chicken and a side of cooked veggies. The crab linguine was the showstopper it was super delicious with heaps of chilli and lemon flavours. The salmon and the roasted chicken were cooked very well, however the fish and chips were rather average and came out fried. The food is quite pricey but we felt that although it was good, the menu is quite a hit and miss.
From the outside, the complex resembles something of a cross between a welcoming country abode and airy glasshouse. It's surrounded by the charming Chiswick Gardens, which is where much of the produce used by the kitchen is grown and harvested.
Best food ever!! Everything grown fresh from their garden. Must go here and get the corn! Only criticism is some of the tables are too close together!!
A classy restaurant in a lovely garden setting. The place has history and it would be nice if this was given prominence. Service good. Food, particularly the home grown vegies and herbs a highlight. Wine list reasonably extensive and a good selection of wines by the glass. Pricing reasonable for a restaurant of this quality.
The location is as pretty as a picture, so going for lunch was the perfect choice, to get in all the beauty in natural sunlight. I highly recommend going for a nice, long lunch, but I’m sure there’s also a different charm to it at night.
Chiswick sure love to use their lemons! 🍋🍋🍋 Everything had so much zest and spring to it – it was great. I loved the seafood entrees (the spanner crab salad was perfect, although I don’t think it’s on the menu anymore? 🙁), and the roasted baby corn was so simple but delicious!!
We also got the barramundi and Portobello mushrooms for mains, which were quite good as well. Entrees were definitely the winners here, but barramundi was cooked perfectly, like I mean PERFECTLY, so that was a major plus.
It wasn’t cheap (around $75pp) but it was a bday lunch so every once in a while! 😋

Absolutely stunning spot for lunch. Service was impeccable; as was the food. The duck and mango small plate was a seasonal and beautiful way to start a summer lunch, while the roast pumpkin was the perfect hearty accompaniment to the meal. Sip on one of their signature spritzers and enjoy the floral outlook!
Beautiful garden restaurant made me feel like i was in a reataurant in some english estate. It was early lunch feeling little peckish so ordered few dishes to share with my dining buddy. Oyster was ultra fresh and love the side celery granita. Foccacia bread with roasted olives were very good, crunch and very tasty. Crab salad was nice but bit salty and fishy for my liking but wasnt bad. Resotto dumplings were good although didnt care for roasted walnuts. Their garden magarita looked amazing and flavour was kinda interesting. Nice and friendly service, enjoyed my lunch here.
Simply outstanding. Set in a gorgeous little cottage in a garden in the beautiful suburb of Woollarah; this place is a real "special occasion" type of venue. The food is fresh & wholesome with herbs freshly picked from the grounds to garnish & flavour the "memorable" dishes they serve. It's noisy but full of life as everyone seems to be celebrating one thing or another. A happy and highly recommended place to dine.
Fantastic dining experience! Chiswick lives up to its standards. I went with a group of people and we order several dishes to taste a variety. The pumpkin salad was fantastic! The pumpkin is in its whole state. The risotto was amazing too! All in all, from entrees to the dessert, the dishes were pretty good, if not superb.
A definite must. The warm lighting and open dining room really delivers a great experience.
The food was absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed all dishes, every element. The flavours were all well thought out.
Our recommendations would be the oysters with celery granita, grilled prawns, steak and pear tart. Give it a go, you won't regret it!

Stunning restaurant best visited in the day so that you can take in the beautiful gardens. Reservations are a must and this is the perfect choice for a special occasion. Go in a group so that you can sample as much of the menu as possible. If you have four or more I would recommend the collective menu at $80 pp which gives you a fantastic selection including the Moran family lamb straight from the farm which is mouth watering. Parking is not abundant but you won't have to venture too far to find one. Have the staff recommend a wine as the list changes regularly with the seasons and the menu. Pick a sunny day and make it a looooong lunch
Do you like a big leg of juicy lamb matched with fine red wine for dinner (or even lunch)? Then head down to Chiswick. Matt Moran has taken good food and wine and ambience to all new heights! The food and wine and interior decor - splendid! The venue - fit for a wedding (who knows there might have been a few already)! The staff - magnificent! All in all - a world class experience. Matt - you have done it again!
Good service, good food, good wine and all at a great price. The menu had some great vegan choices as well. The tiger prawn starter was so super fresh and full of flavour, and the orichiette main with chicken was well spiced. The sorbet though with basil was the best dish around.
The atmosphere was my favourite part of this place. A group of us had a selection of appetisers which were absolutely delicious. Crab meat fettuccine was a favourite. The lamb - despite being the signature dish of this place - was a disappointment. The meat was dry and sauce not watery enough to disguise the dryness.
Chiswick restaurant in Woolahra is a hidden gem that perfects casual chic dining. Ideal for a long lunch on a Sunday, food selection does not disappoint. Be prepared for a pricier menu, I'd equate it with fine dining. We ordered the snow crab sliders, lamb shoulder, pumpkin salad and vanella burrata. I could not fault any of the dishes, beautifully presented and served efficiently. Absolutely loved the lamb shoulder and vanella burrata. As for dessert, the pineapple bombe exceeded my expectations and surprisingly, banana semifreddi was average ( I normally favour banana and salted caramel but the flavours came together more nicer in the pineapple bombe). Service was good. I'd suggest having one waiter assigned per table, or alternatively, keep the other waiters abreast of what's been ordered. During the course of our meal, I had a couple of waiters approach the table with the same enquiry.

I really liked the atmosphere. I like the quality produce. I liked the slow cooked lamb from Matt Moran's own family farm and I liked that we had to ask for a doggy bag as it was huge... I did not like the cocktails and I found them expensive. The dessert was ok : you can tell there was a lot of work, but the flavours did not match very went (pineapple and white chocolate) overall a very pleasant experience
Chiswick is nestled away in a beautiful suburb of Sydney, near Centennial Park. The streets are adorn with greenery and leafy arches that frame the neighborhood. You walk in and instantly you feel a lightness, from the open and bright outdoor seating area which were home to white trimmed wood furnishings and subtle yet beautiful scenery. I knew we were in for a treat. With a seasonal menu designed to showcase ingredients at that their prime, a lot of it being sourced straight from the kitchen garden and the Moran family farm!

Dined at Chiswick in Woollahra today with my family. We were a group of 7, which included 2 children aged 5 and 7. The waitress who greeted us on arrival did so with a lovely smile. However, the gentleman who she instructed to show us to our table unfortunately did not show us the same hospitality, not even a hint of a smile. Another young lady who waited on our table for the duration of our afternoon basically did what was required, and that was to take our orders, bring out our food and bring us the bill. The meal itself was demolished and enjoyed by all, including the 2 children. But there seriously was a lack of warmth in service we received firstly by the disgruntled gentleman and young waitress. It was obvious the restaurant was bustling with diners so it may be that the staff were run off their feet but surely for such a reputable restaurant this cannot be an excuse. This left me wondering if the presence of the children in our party had soured the behaviour of the staff?
This is not the first time I have dined at Chiswick. The previous time I was with a party of 12 ladies during a busy christmas period and we were treated well by staff who actually bothered to communicate with our group on top of accomplishing their tasks effortlessly.
One of my favourite restaurant in sydney! Great place to take visitors and would recommend for bigger group of 4 people above and order a lot to share!!!
Chiswick is a gorgeous restaurant surrounded by a beautiful garden and located in the heart of Wollahra. It was definitely on my list of must visit, so I got very excited when my good friend Jordan (Sloans Salon North Sydney) decided to host his birthday celebration at Chiswick.

New favourite lunch spot! Went here for a long lunch with friends and it did not disappoint. Even in the rain, the venue was stunning and the food was just as good. The tuna starter was amazing - it's literally the best dish I've EVER eaten. The steak tartare and lamb were also incredible. Do yourself a favour and go here.
Good food and service, good selection of wines. Would improve the seating. Did not find the chairs very comfortable. Surcharge on credit cards unnecessary. I would come back just for the incredible lamb. Probably expected more.
It is now one of Sydney’s more famous casual dining venues, but I have to say that Chiswick really is a perfect spot for a lazy Sunday lunch. With elegant, chic decor inside the glass filled dining room, the large windows allows all the beauty from the outside greenery and sunshine to stream in.
Food was fabulous! Had the oysters, Moreton Bay Bug, lamb and cherry ripe for dessert. Lamb is a 'must do'. The setting is gorgeous. Inside the restaurant the tables felt too close together. Consequently, it lacks intimacy and made service as well as patrons navigating their way to the restrooms and in and out of the restaurant problematic. Service lacked attentiveness.
I've been here quite a few times, and always happy when I do. The food is always hearty and full of flavour, with the best of what's in season. I was quite disappointed though with the service. I found the staff slightly rude, they seemed to be annoyed because we were pacing ourselves and taking photos during the night. This was the only thing that would prevent me from going back.
Love everything about it. From the way the place is quaintly done up, to the excellent and attentive service provided and most of all, the amazing food served. Most of the veggies in the dishes are served fresh fr the garden in their backyard. Best to book 2-3 weeks in advance. Went there on a Thursday and it was packed too.
I was definitely not blown away by this place. It was ok. Its over priced without a fine dining atmosphere. The entrées are the best thing about the menu, everything was delicious. The mains and dessert were average. The staff were nice but not at the top of their game. I probably wouldn't go back.
The roasted lamb is def worth trying and the beef tartare is sick! Mocha ganache is my girlfriend recommendation. Setting is good and no reservation needed for Monday lunch.

I know that this place has been around for ages so i’m sure you’ve all been already but this was a place that we had always driven past and said “oh how pretty, lets go there sometime!” and never really had. I scoped out the menu online to make sure that it wasn’t going to break the bank and it looked like exactly what we were after, nothing too fancy but delicious and well presented.
We were seated promptly at a roomy table and began with a pitcher of cocktails. I was impressed when they arrived at the table already poured into six glasses complete with fresh garnishes and there was still half a pitcher left over. This was a mix of gin, watermelon, lavender syrup, cucumber and lemon juice and was particularly refreshing during the hot summer evening we found ourselves in. The wait staff were excellent. The staff at Chiswick were exemplary. Our waiter was attentive and very helpful when we were trying to figure out if the share plates would feed all of us and which dishes would work best together.
For our entrees we had a mixture of wood fired duck breast with yellow peach and watercress, salad of iceberg lettuce with avocado, mint and parsley and the hand cut chips with black garlic aioli. All were delicious but the black garlic aioli was a real winner. Holy moly! I would buy jars and jars of that if it were for sale commercially. All three mains were absolutely delicious and kept the six of us well fed. We had the lamb, woodfired trout and the roast chicken. My favourite was definitely the lamb. It was succulent and melted off the bone. Plus theres something special knowing it came from the Moran family farm!
Overall I was very impressed with the quality of the food and service. The food is nothing fancy but undeniably delicious and hearty. I think that there are some fancier dishes on the menu but I doubt whether they would beat our choices in the taste department. The restaurant itself had a lovely ambiance and we spent some time trying to name the plants in the kitchen garden behind us. The share plates look a little pricey on their own but when split between the six of us, the price including cocktails was very reasonable. We had a fabulous time and will certainly be coming back!
You can't beat Chiswick for lunch on a Sunday. Book in advance and request a table near the glass windows. Amazing food and wine selection! High recommended!
A beautiful venue filled with natural light. We started our ladies lunch with a glass of Piper Rose Champagne, prawn popcorn and a beetroot salad. Followed by the scallops and ocean trout. We picked dishes from the small plates section which turned out to be the perfect amount. Everything was delicious!! Finished off with a cheese plate but found myself having food envy when the desserts arrived at the table next to us. Next time!

I came here with a group of 6 last Friday night. Made the booking on Thursday afternoon after failing to get into some of the more hyped up places like Nomad and Porteno. And aren't I glad we did. Chiswick is a beautiful restaurant set in a beautiful garden. It is the kind of place you want to book out for your wedding reception or the special wedding anniversary with your friends and family.. Or I imagine, the kind of place a little rich girl may have her 21st. The food was of course was fantastic. It is Matt Moran's place after all. Order the roast chicken and lamb to share. And entree, don't forgo the beetroot salad. The wine list is decent, markup somewhat less than expected. We had entree, mains and dessert with 3 bottles of wine and sparking water all night. Came to $100 per head. Very reasonable for the kind of evening we had. Some of the waitstaff initially came across as a bit snobbish, but the lovely waitress we had for the evening was just super. Friendly, knowledgable, attentive but not intrusive. Look forward to returning.

This seems uber trendy, with wall to wall 30 something's. And the occasional family table. Much bustle and movement. Owned by Matt Moran and the restaurant mirrors in some ways 'Paddock to Table'. Very tasty food and not a bottle of liquid nitrogen in sight.
Dishes are primarily for sharing and the 4 of us enjoyed the popcorn prawn and seared scallops to start. Lovely, lovely slow cooked lamb shoulder in a delightful mint based sauce. Followed by a whole roast chicken but blown away by the seared Barramundi. Service varied from so/so at the start to exceptional ( Chapeau to Fleur from Tassie). Around $450 for 4 including a bottle of red and multiple cocktails. Really enjoyable and enjoys a lovely garden which I'm reliably told is even better in Spring and Summer.
I love the slow cooked lamb from here , it's super delicious and tender with a great sauce on top. The raw fish dishes are superb and the side dishes are always on point with the main dishes and seasonal. You can't not order a cocktail when you're here, they are so fresh and yummy.
A lovely two course meal at Chiswick was the perfect escape from the hostile rain tapping on the windows. An almost-unique concept in Sydney dining, the Chiswick kitchen is faithfully served by a beautiful, on-site garden. I have always wanted to go to Chiswick and finally we found the time!
So went on a Tuesday night at 6pm as they were booked out for the 8pm time slot. One of the first people to be sat down near the windows which was lovely.
For drinks we started off with a jug of some watermelon cocktail which had gin in it. It was a nice summary drink to help us cool off as the day was still quite humid.
The menu is made to share as quoted by the waitress which we decided to do anyways. For entree to share we got 2 servings of the popcorn prawn and duck and for the mains we got the famous wood roasted Moran lamb, Whole roasted chicken and the wood fired rainbow trout.
Food was amazing, the lamb just fell off the bone and the chicken well cooked through, although i wish they had put in extra stock in there. The trout was well cooked with minimal bones.
Throughout dinner we sampled a few of their in house made sodas including, lavender & blueberries, Iced tea and kaffir lime and lemongrass all very tasty.
Maybe because i have wanted to go for a long time i had huge expectations so when i got there it wasn't as what i expected it to be. Someone on our table commented that it could be considered upper class pub food. hmmm
Overall Great venue, food, staff were helpful but i felt that it was missing something to give it a full 5 stars.
Loved this place. Restaurant is set in a greenhouse in a lush garden. Ground to table with extremely fresh produce in a casual setting. Unpretentious food. The crab sliders were delish with me n the boyfriend ordering extras! Kudos to Matt and his team!
Had dinner at Chiswick tonight and currently still in a food coma! My friend's fiancée picked the lamb to share, that was a good choice, the lamb just literally fall off the bone, u can cut it with a spoon! And prawn popcorn was nice too, oh the waitress recommended the broccolini and we were not disappointed! I reckon it'd be very nice to have brunch here looking at the garden!
Located in the beautiful suburb of Woollahra, Chiswick is just about one of the most picturesque restaurants I’ve been to. The place looks like a country club taken straight out of a movie. The restaurant is surrounded by lush, green, perfectly manicured lawns and vegetation. When you step inside, you can’t help but notice huge windows, allowing light to fill the room, and how white and pristine everything looks. It feels like a shirt and chinos type of place, and I couldn’t help but feel a little underdressed. But contrary to the look, Chiswick is a relaxed, casual and friendly place to dine at with a notable communal table next to the bar.
Loved the ambience here. Food was yummy and desserts were excellent. Service was also wonderful. Will definitely return.
Been a few times to Chiswick now, never disappoints! Highly recommend the bomb-Alaska if it's on the menu.

I would suggest booking quite in advance as the place gets very busy.
I would definitely recommend the wood roasted family lamb on the bone meal which caters for two people and seemed to be very popular with diners. It's probably the best lamb I've ever had.

Awesome location, service, food and drinks to match. Looks out over the park, light and airy, really beautiful space. Service was unimposing and flawless. I couldn't find anything on the menu that I didn't want to eat. Seeing their kitchen garden out the back made me want to keep coming back through the year as the seasons change. I had a crab slider and oysters with a really nice mignonette, so good. The cocktails were every bit as enticing as the food on the menu, I settled on a the Chiswick mule: Belvedere vodka, kaffir lime, lemon grass & ginger beer. Enough said.
Average food and service (nice but average - could get similar at any local restaurant or pub) but stunning restaurant and atmosphere

One Saturday night around 7pm, my partner and I want to dine at a pretty place but we didn’t make any bookings. But thank God Chiswick is more than happy to reserve a table for two and we had one of the best Australian dinner for a long time. Every dishes we ordered are 10/10 in taste, presentation and uniqueness. Strongly recommend, would love to come here again during lunch time to enjoy food with the garden view!
I have been wanting to go here for some time after visiting Chiswick at the Art Gallery a few years ago.
I must preface that I went here for a birthday with a party size of 20 so our experience will probably be different to a couple or small group.
I am not going to complain about the service, although it was a lot slower than you would expect from a restaurant of this calibre, we visited the week between Christmas and New Year, while Covid Omicron took over Sydney.
Now to the food, we had a 4 course set menu, all the food was amazing. My favourite dish was the Glazed eggplant which possibly had the most umami of any dish I have ever had, I could have eaten it all night.
The chicken and lamb mains were extremely succulent and the sides were generous.
My only disappointment was dessert, I’ve had better meringue elsewhere.
Overall the farm to table approach (garden on site) was felt throughout the entire menu. I would visit again.
Live close to this place for 2 years, but never been until now. I wish I had gone earlier. Such a lovely place.
Service was friendly, efficient and subtle.
Food was great. Lots of ingredients from their garden. Such a varied and delicious menu. The wine list was great and they serve coravined wine by the glass.
Design of the place is so lovely. And they have an amazing sound absorbing system that, well, absorbs sound. This makes the experience even better.
We'll be back.
Very nice place for a special occasion, it surrounded by a garden so the view is relaxing.
Inside was very busy but it didn't feel too loud.
The food and Service was good. Parking wasn't too much of an issue.

Amazing dining experience. Had the tasting menu for $90pp and it did not disappoint. The trout and lamb shoulder were fantastic, and the flatbread and Bara-masalata are must try starters. Service was friendly and attentive and there was plenty of seating for an weekday afternoon. Will definitely come back!
