Fresh, full of flavour and quality ingredients. Highly recommend.
So happy with the foods, the decor and the atmosphere of this restaurant. High recommendation.
As a Malaysian foodie myself, I could say that this place is pretty authentic.
This place is a hidden little gem! We had heard good things about it from a friend and decided to check it out and we weren't disappointed. Their fish sambal was unique with a crunchy exterior yet delicious while their Toby's Pepper bird chicken had a deliciously mild flavour of lemon grass and was crunchy and succulent. The ambience is a bit run down and feels like an old construction site. But overall a great little Malaysian gem!
I have been here a number of times now and I have never been disappointed. The food is always at your table fast and tastes delicious! My favourite dishes are the char kway teow and the coconut crepes ( I could eat a dozen plates) the waiters are always friendly and helpful. A must try if you are in the area.

We love a quiet night on the weekend to grab some friends and head to this place in Double Bay. The food is amazing, it’s BYO and the food is served quickly. Some of our favourites include the Prawn Dumplings and Springys for entree, Sassy’s Duck and the Water Spinach veggies for main and a side of roti and curry. It is a relatively small areas so best suited to groups of 6 or less. Couples probably don’t need to worry about a reservation but larger groups shouldn’t take that chance. Staff are friendly and will always make sure that your wine glass is full. Located prominently on New South Head Road come here for a feed and then throw the dancing shoes on and head over to the Sheaf to keep the night going.
I rang and booked in quite late, it was super busy but they fit us in. Malaysian cuisine and a wide menu of dumplings, fried entrees, stir fries, curries and also vegetarian options. In a group we ordered satay sticks - delicious flavour, the pork buns were awesome and prawn dumplings were super fresh. We also shared beef rendang (small but delicious) and roti. Nice meals, very fast service. Laid back, it takes BYO and very cheap for an easy group night out.
What a great find on a stormy day! The decor is mostly wood and very cosy. The food were great and big servings. We had 3 different dishes and they are all wonderful. Strongly recommend.
Double Bay is a long way from home for me so I had no idea which place to have dinner at. Came here expecting a small and average meal, but left feeling super satisfied with one of the BEST char kway teows and roti ever!
The venue may have moved to double bay but the food is still good, been going there for our anniversary for the past 10 years, double bay location is great, some cool bars close by for afterwards
Its a cute place located on a busy road but depending on time you can find a spot or 2 around the block. Customer service is attentive and the menu is very authentic.
Absolutely delicious! Good sized portions for sharing and attentive staff.
Can't fault the value- especially in Double Bay
The roti with Beef Curry is delicious and a crowd favourite. Delivery is always very quick as is the table service. Fried rice is different to expected, it is not oily like a lot of places tend to be, will definitely order this again.
