Amibience and service on point, wine knowledge from staff was great and the food was absolutely outstanding.
Such a awesome experience.
The whole experience was amazing. From the food to the helpful and friendly staff. We weren't too sure on the menu or the wine list so our helpful waitress (wish i got her name) made it her mission to make sure we where happy with our wine choice. Will be coming back without a doubt. Does get busy so I suggest you beat the crowds and go a little earlier.
Very hard place to get a booking but I can see why. The food here is unpretentious and delicious and the wine list is extensive and pairs well with the food on offer. The menu offered is refined and I think with a table of four, you can easily taste the whole menu! Other than the pretzel dish, the menu rotates often. Definitely worth a try if you're into Italian food with a contemporary twist!
One of the best experiences at a venue, incredible staff and hosts that were insightful and helpful. The atmosphere is really good here, the seating is a bit odd but that's due to space, would be great for a date. The food was delicious, some of the best dishes I've tried: Focaccia, Ragu and the Cheese plate were my highlights. I asked for the name of all the cheeses they were that good. Only thing worth noting is the portion sizes are small, but still filling. Would highly recommend 10 William Street.
Quite a small place and gets pretty busy so if you want to secure a seat, make sure you make a booking. The vibe here is quite nice and the staff are friendly. It is a bit of a darker, more moody sort of atmosphere but it suits the place. The food is pretty good - I’d definitely recommend the pretzel (came here for it). Combined with the bottarga, it is really nice and makes you want more. We also got the pasta. The pasta itself was nice, the sauce wasn’t heavy and it was quite refreshing overall. Personally, I don’t like sardines cause of the bones, but otherwise it was good. The tiramisu was great- would recommend!
A little difficult to get to as street parking was quite limited, but otherwise, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area :)
Nice little wine bar with a seasonal menu. Quite small so not ideal for big groups. The highlight was the pretzel & whipped bottarga and the mushroom pasta (this was my favourite dish). Be careful when entering and exiting the bathroom, I almost took a waiter out when I opened the door.
We didn't have a booking on Saturday and just walked in for lunch. We tried a seafood based pasta and had a passionfruit tart and tiramisu. Really enjoyed the meal!
Tasted pretty good but all dishes came so slowly 😂 not a big place and we were surrounded by two groups of noisy parties ( I know it’s not the restaurant’s fault, but due to the tiny space, we felt very annoyed)
The pasta is amazing here. Small share plates of Italian tapas style food. Sardines were amazing and the highlight was the pretzel with bottaga (tuna) dip
The BEST restaurant I can think of, 10 William has the best staff, always friendly and always efficient, and has some of the best snacks, I always come here with friends and family and was so lucky to even meet Jamie Oliver here!
