Review Sonoma Bakery Cafe - Woollahra

Just around the corner of our home but never gotten the chance to visit but it’s better late than never! We got their croissants and they are both amazing- flaky, buttery, light and fluffy, everything you need for an addictive croissant! The interior is chic too and price is reasonable, will be back again for sure!

Lots a flies running around on the food. Personally I loved it gave me some extra protein.

Can someone open up a good local coffee shop nearby? These guys are heart-breakingly slow, and completely melt down when they’re forced to deal with multiple orders. We ordered two coffees 30mins ago, and are still waiting.

Extraordinarily good artisan baked sour dough bread and pastries. Small repertoire but everything they offer is of a high quality. Staff were wearing masks in accordance with recent Sydney covid guidelines.

Coffee ok, food was old, flies hanging around, average service. It looks tired, old and half empty of food whenever I turn up. Cmon Sonoma it’s time to up your game!

I went there by mistake, I wanted to go to Rosebay's one for a quick lunch and I accidentally select this one on Google. Once there I thought they would offer a similar experience, but no. There were only a few sandwiches to pick from. I would say the coffee was good enough though. Also, the toilet was a bit far from the cafe. Overall, not an exciting experience for me but the cafe was packed and everyone looked happy😆... if you only need a quick snack and a coffee that's fine

This hidden away gem sits just the other side of Syd Enfield Drive from Westfields, and the trip across is worth the trouble. Great food options, fantastic vibe, great staff. Wait times can get a little long when it’s busy, but it just leaves you craving the food more. There’s a good selection of made in house pastries and salads, including sourdough donuts, and can’t forget the high roof that gives a larger room feel. Take a trip across the way from the junction, it’s worth every moment in this nook behind the towers.

I have been going to Sonoma Woollahra a few times a week since the whole COVID situation took over. I think it is the best, most consistent coffee in the Bondi Junction/Woollahra area.

The staff are kind and not overbearing. The food always looks fresh.

Minus a star because there is no free wifi, absolutely nothing gluten free to eat and sometimes the tables aren't wiped down.

More likely a 3.5 rating. I dined here on a Sunday morning for brunch. We were seated a table, served water and menus immediately however the table had not been wiped down. We were shown by the waitress how to order through the Me and U app that the venue was using to order and pay. It seemed a bit more complicated than it was worth and would have been quicker to order the traditional way. I had the avocado toast ($8) with an added poached egg ($4). The toast was as expected and the egg was cooked well. My main comment would be that there was an extra charge for pretty much all the garnishes - lemon, olive olive, chilli flakes. So i just kept it plain. I also had a hot chocolate which was served warm and was sufficiently chocolatey. Overall, the food here is nice but the portions are a bit on the small side for the price you pay.

One of the many Sonoma cafe/bakeries, near Bondi Junction on the pretty cafe strip. Good bread, good coffee. The fig toast is my fav. What else can you ask for?

When I think of Sonoma Bakery I am immediately drawn into a dream-like trance and thinking about their gorgeous, malty, sourdough miche. Eating that bread makes you feel complete man. If you can give your arms a bit of a work out then lug home a loaf of the 1.4 kilo round bread. Cut as much as you will eat for the next day or two and freeze the rest. Because it is far too good to waste, just slice as much as you will require in the meantime.

Love Sanoma bread, especially the miche sourdough. You can get takeaway coffee or sit down and eat in. Their avocado on toast, birch muesli and other breakfast menu items are all delicious. The baked goods in the cabinet, cinnamon scroll I'm looking at you, are devilishly good. Service can be hit and miss, so never come here in a rush.
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
Summer is here which means one thing: lazy brunches. Now I’ve heard the name Sonoma buzzing around for several years, but not having had one cross my path, I put it down as sandwiches for the elite. (I mean the name sounds like a school for alternative learning.) But after checking out their latest café in Woollahra I realised just how humble their origins are – it's a family business with its roots in small town NSW. Yes, the business is bread, but it’s what they do with it (to quote The Castle ). With most options around the ten buck mark, you can’t go wrong; but do try the Braised Spiced Pork Sandwich ($10) with apple chutney nestled betwixt Miche loaf. The bread is deliciously chewy with a caramelized crust. For a perfectly rounded brunch, go the Gravlax ($15) with boiled egg, ricotta, avocado and seeded rye sourdough (and generous helpings of each). Quiches ($7) are good, as are pastries. We’re told that as it’s Sund

Sonotmacupof tea This baker.... Sonotmacupof tea
This bakery has hands down the most overpriced Vegemite toast in the Southern Hemisphere. When I went there, I waited 45 minutes for said toast whith a recently acquired beautiful girlfriend. Needless to say, we ran out of things to talk about. After that morning our relationship was never the same. The incredibly rude and frankly unattractive barista at the counter gave me a smug and disgusted look when I was 10 cents short on our $24 toast and tea meal. The toast was not anything worth writing home about, and when I did I made some Helgas in two minutes and cried about the woman of my dreams leaving me all thanks to this revolting, poorly managed, pretentious establishment.
