Ok...after being here for 4 years in Melbourne Australia, this place is by far the best place for home made pies, pastry and other bakery items. Hands down the best I have come across so far in Aussie. I am very critical when it comes to pies especially coming from New Zealand. Amaze balls. Check this place out on your way to Mansfield everybody. The lady who served us who is picture on the article is wonderful and the way she talked about the products you can tell she is passionate and very dedicated to her work. Amazing service and the place itself had a warm and welcoming vibe.. this was the first time I have being to this cafe/ bakery which was highly recommended from friends who owns a holiday home in Mansfield. We will definitely be back for sure.. keep up the great work. We will spread the world and definitely recommend this places to family and friends
The yummiest vegie pasties ever..all the food made on the premises...lovely friendly staff...wonderful.
My husband stopped here last week on a bike ride along the rail trail, and enjoyed it so much he recommended we go back on a day trip. It was lovely, an old renovated house, lovely hosts and delicious pastries. We had a large pastie between us and bought a pie and vanilla slice to take away, as well as a veggie pastie for my son. The only criticism I would have is that the parties could be seasoned better, more salt and some pepper too. Otherwise brilliant. (Great cherry place direct to public almost next door btw. Yummy day)
If you like pies, sausage rolls or pasties then you’re going to be blown away with what’s on offer here! For me l, best pies I’ve ever had and I handled a lot of pies in my time. Well worth my 1.5hr drive to try.
Great coffee, amazing food, good value - how is this place rated 2.9?? Stopped for a coffee and lunch, their all-day breakfast menu is great. Highly recommended, everything was spot on.
HOW has BUCKS got a rating of 2.9 this is hands down the best bakery in the whole of AUSTRALIA. I came here with my boyfriend on the way home from Corowa in March and we have been talking about it ever since!! The Wagon Wheel, Sausage Roll and Ferrero Rocher Ball were memorable enough that I can still remember what they all taste like. Do not pass this bakery. Go in, buy EVERYTHING!!!!!!
Also, the owners name is Will.
He is the human Willy Wonka

+3.5
Went here on the way home from the snow. Great pie, milkshake, muffins but pretty expensive. Was especially put off when we had to pay for sauce 😟
You know how there are some bakeries you go in look at what you get and go meh! Then you go in some bakeries and go dam what should I have there are too many options that look good. This place is the latter, you can tell they use good quality ingredients.
All good, nice relaxing stop in sunny dining room, java 3.1/5 great bread and pies etc. Girls serving are happy , which is a change these days
Stopped by on way to snow. Yummy pies made on premises, great coffee and friendly service. Have to come back on way home. Highly recommended!
Happened upon this bakehouse at Yarck on the way to Mansfield. What a pleasant surprise with such good quality pies at reasonable prices. The ingredients were generous and as advertised. We had the chunky wagyu steak with mushroom and the rosemary lamb in red wine. Piping hot on a cold day. Hit the spot. It deserves to be a destination in itself. My only wish is my stomach to have more space to savour the other baked offerings. Will be back :)
Very busy today, but worth the wait!
Pies and pastries; savoury and sweet.
Plenty 'Merch' too.
You can even get Branded coffee beans or loose leaf tea.
So many choices
The bakery has above average prices, however the quality of food was excellent.
I had a Chunky Beef pie which actually had beef chunks in it, plus the Custard tart was really good.
It can get busy at times, so patience is needed, but the food is worth the wait.
We’ll presented bakery with excellent pastries and a small shop attached. Very good coffee last time I was thru. I tried a Portuguese tart which was a decent version, they’re hard to perfect though. The covid setup is thoughtful and they’re careful. Thanks for the service.
Amazing!! Food & drinks are delicious, service is amazing and great atmosphere too. Quickly becoming my favourite lunch spot. Worth stopping in during your road trip or work commute.
Absolutely wonderful. Family business, super busy but worth the wait. Small general store as part of the bakery sold some very nice things. Beautiful coffee with all types of milk available.
Enjoy!
I drove so many times pass Yack and today was the first time stopping for a meal. Boy did I miss this cafe for so long! I was very surprised to see Portuguese egg tarts were sold there. They taste very authentic and nice. All the food we ordered are quite nice. Well done!
Bloody good pies, coffee too!
Loved the vanilla slice, my bad?
Also purchased some other products, salad dressing etc
Worth the stop
Be aware, no toilet within 200 metres!!
