We went to Fergusson Winery for Saturday lunch and ended up staying the night!
Fabulous food, wine and amazing accommodation in the Exec Suite.
Would absolutely recommend Fergusson Winery! 🥂😁
After a cold and damp morning, walking into the restaurant and seeing a joint of beef roasting over the open fire was warming. However the taste of the beef exceeded the smell and look of it roasting. Totally enjoyed the experience and recommend anyone visiting the Yarra Valley to stop for lunch. And the wine was a perfect partner to the Sunday dinner.

I had my wedding at Fergusson Winery on April 22, 2022.
This winery is stunning - the gorgeous grounds that were amazing for wedding photos (a weatherboard chapel, gorgeous pond, old Melbourne tram, the vines, sandstone pavilion, etc.) as well as the fantastic interior that has been updated considerably over the past twelve months.
The winery has a lodge on site with three queen sized bedrooms which was perfect for the bridal party to get ready in and created a great atmosphere the night prior and the day of the wedding.
Sara, the wedding consultant at Fergusson, was attentive and flexible with our ideas, requests and vision.
I cannot thank Fergusson enough for their attention to detail, help and advice along this journey and all of our guests commented on how amazing the staff were on the night (table service for drinks at a wedding - so good!!!) and how delicious the food was.
As well as this - the venue was dog friendly and encouraged our two dogs to attend the wedding!

Brilliant place that doesn’t get the same recognition as the other Yarra Valley wineries. Ate lunch at the restaurant and was impressed both by the food and wine. Two courses $65 for lunch. Well executed flavours and wine was well matched with suggestions for each dish. Dining room not as flash as some surrounding venues - a bit tired but great look out over the vines. Light and well spaced tables.
Such a gorgeous setting. And the restaurant and cellar door are beautifully designed and decorated. The wine was plentiful and appreciated, and the large party I was with all seemed to enjoy their meals. (And mine was just lovely.) There are a couple of areas in which to park.
I’d also like to mention that, on the day we were there, it was busy and (like many places in 2021) they seemed a little short staffed, but the team were helpful, friendly and looked after everyone well.
Paul and his team made my big O birthday so SO special. Exquisite food ( we had a 7 course degustation showcasing stunning local produce and left the choices up to chef) matched with house wines and sweet service. My friends are all very knowledgeable foodies and they like me, loved it and thought it the best meal they’d had for years. Keep up the great work guys. We’ll be back!
Had my milestone bday here...must say everything was 5 star. Been to a few wineries and will rate the food way better than even a top rated restaurant. The service was impeccable. The chef himself came out twice to confirm is food was ok... the wines are good and overall it turned out to be a memorable afternoon. Will highly recommend......cheers
I could not recommend Fergusson Winery more for a wedding. Basically every request I put forward leading up to the wedding I got a resounding yes, and always a response within two business days. It was clear the day before that the staff had read through my run sheet in detail, so it came as no surprise that everything was set up perfectly and stunningly in the reception and ceremony areas on the day. Fergusson has all the facilities you need and multiple, stunning photo spots around the venue that you don't need to go anywhere else on the day which really relieves stress. We really didn't need nor wish to go anywhere else. And we were also able to have our (very small) dog stay with us at the homestead, meaning she was able to be part of our day which meant the world to us. And Sara, the wedding coordinator there is just so onto everything at all times, and so lovely!! Thank you Fergusson Winery!!! We had The. Best. Day. Ever.
