Wonderful place for High Tea, just loved all the antique furnishings and beautiful china and of course the food was delicious. It was also a wonderful ambiance and great to be in a place where your conversation is not drowned out by background music!! Lovely personal touches - highly recommended.
Sensational venue beautiful house great atmosphere and wonderful food. I had a great birthday they looked after us all including special treats for the toddlers who were free thouroughly recommend a visit
We visited Highgate today which was a charming space for high tea. Set on a private property you will experience extremely friendly service and delicious home made treats of a most generous proportion. I particularly enjoyed the chicken sandwich and the pavlova.
They cater for all types of dietaries and are very passionate about what they do, they are even willing to warm up your scones for you and provide take home boxes for any leftovers. We had a lovely time today, it was almost as though we were in a bygone era and it is an experience unlike any other high tea in Melbourne

Cosy, cute, amazing hosts!! Yummy scones!! We happened to be there without a booking- very kind of the owner to give us a table. It was my birthday , they got us scones with a candle on top. Amazing ambience- such a cute little tea house. Outdoors are amazing! Recommended!
What a wonderful high tea experience we had in Yarrambat. This gorgeous home serves high tea from Wednesdays to Sundays. Two sessions a day. Price is $50 - $55. Cathy is such a lovely host and very accommodating with any food allergies etc. There is plenty of food provided and any dessert left over can be taken home in a labelled and dated container. Gift vouchers are available. Highly recommended!
Great experience, awesome venue, delightful owner and staff, amazing food, best scones, cakes and savoury food! A lovely interesting garden and we spent 4 hrs at High Gate. 2 hrs inside and another 2 hrs sitting outdoors in beautiful weather and not once did we feel like we were being prompted to leave. Fabulous High Tea outing. 👏

They are so helpful and I haven't experience friendliness and service like that in a long time.
Food and coffee was lovely and the grounds are pefect for a stroll afterwards. Definitely worth the $55 per head fee. We were all stuffed and took some home. Mums will be pleased to know they have high chairs and a change table if needed.
Excellent food and drink, wonderful service and a lovely atmosphere! It gives the feel of a classic high tea and an intimate atmosphere that makes for a wonderfully relaxing afternoon! Highly recommended!
Great high tea service, owner is lovely and even had a special platter for my cousins toddler. House and garden are beautiful and staff are very friendly. Plently of food and great quality would highly recommend for birthdays, classer hens party and mothers days.
