I went to Alfa yesterday and the food was really fresh and wholesome . Plenty of food on the plate and a great range of different types of food . Dessert was really good . We had banana caramelised pancakes with ice cream and was delicious . Would come again once in the area from Sydney .
Just had a late lunch... smashed avo on toast with eggs.... never in the 5 years of living in this fabulous country have I seen so much avo on the toast...huge.... shall return again
Nice atmosphere beside train station and small place for kids to play around. ( no play equipment) and food & coffee are good.
I had French onion soup which was surprisingly yum!!
We love it here, yummy breakfast, great coffee and love the service. Can sometimes be waiting a while for a table, but that is a testament to how good the food is. Love the vibe here and come back regularly with friends and family.
Coffee fix today at this is a busy little cafe is a great summer spot near the Yarraville train station & a play area for kids.
We have brunched here before & the food is always satisfying & large portions.
This place has been a great addition to Yarraville, which is slowly growing in popularity. The outdoor courtyard is sheltered with lovely trees, and on a day with nice weather it makes for an extremely pleasant environment to eat in. The staff are also friendly here. The food is made with good quality, fresh ingredients, and there is a good array of food to pick from. The drinks (juices, iced coffees) were fantastic, and were quality and well presented like the food.
Gorgeous food. Ate from the December specials menu and received a free coffee 😊 Coffee was too strong for me and tasted a little burnt but that was the only negative
Saturday brunch. We brought the dog & sat out the back. Great astro turf area for kids to play around. I had the Bircher Muesli which came with a sweet rhubarb compote & yummy flaked coconut. There was mention of a panna cotta accompanying this on the menu but it was more like a dollop of creme fraiche. Still a top breakfast dish. It was so big I couldn't finish it. He had the Breakfast Burger which was a good hangover cure. Dog was keen for some too. Orange & watermelon juice was great. Look forward to a few more of these over summer.
Love this place, both the yarraville and seddon cafes. The service is always great, the food is amazing. But then again I don't order anything over the top and fancy. I would recommend this place to anyone! I love it
Just does the basics really well. Coffee is very good, and hot (something which some more pretentious spots seem unable to get right), mercifully no hipster single source here! Breakie’s also reasonably priced, quick & well cooked. Staff are cheerful & efficient.
Super-friendly staff, tasty food at a reasonable price and very good for our two little boys. Great selection of pastries and cakes. We’ll be back again soon I’m sure.
A colleague of mine purchased a carrot cake from here, it was her birthday so she had to buy the cake! Well I'm glad she chose Alfa cause the cake was yummo. Nice and moist with a good flavour and nice cream cheese icing on top. Not sure what the other cakes are like but the carrot was nice.
Very good tasting coffee! I love it! One of the best long black I ever have. Price is very reasonable for $4.50 Medium cup. Staff are very welcoming and polite and they even bring your coffee to your table. Amazing place especially in a lazy morning. Perfect to wake you up! ✨
A beautiful bakery cafe in Yarraville.
In particular, the tables in terrace are so nice location!
You should visit here on a good weather day, and enjoy relaxing time!
Let's start with customer service. It was fantastic. Then we have my coffee, the most important thing, as a lousy coffee can ruin your day. It was perfect the blend the taste and temperature. If I didn't live in Adelaide, it would be on a daily coffee run. Last the food, dam it was good, tasty and fresh. Keep up the good work; when we come back from Adelaide, we will definitely be dropping past again.
Ordered the breakfast. Had to add chorizo separately for $5.50. Not worth the addition thought it should have been included on the $25 breakfast. Bacon was burnt but rest was good.
Update: went back with the family and had a lovely breakfast. Kids split the mixed berry pancakes and the 3 couldn't finish them they were that filling. I ordered the chilli scrambled eggs, they were tasty but the sour dough bread was a little overdone. Wife also had the pancakes and she scraped the plate.
One of my favourite brunch spots! Smoked salmon benedict on crispy hash browns. Their cappuccinos are also a must try!
Loved the coffee and super fresh almond croissant, super efficient and friendly staff. Only area improvement for me would be some soft surfaces, I have hearing aids and when it's all hard surfaces the sounds just bounce around the space making it difficult to hear the conversation.
I am a walking advert for Alpha...it is always a delight to go to this cafe. Lovely food and amazing customer service. I nearly always get take away...but let's be honest the Italians know food...fresh ingredients that are tasty and colourful. The coffee is just right...
My faves are the spinach wraps W fresh Caesar Salad and the toasted Reuben sandwiches. I love to get takeaway and take it to The Sun Theatre and sneak it in 🥰.
