This is a busy pub in the main street of Yarraville, and certainly not a bad place to stop for a drink or two. It is quite modern in decor, and has some luxe furnishings. I have found that it's a pretty young crowd here on a weekend night, but it's a bit quieter in the afternoon.
There is a gorgeous roof top terrace which is fabulous to sit in when the weather is fine, but there are outdoor heaters in winter. Service is really good, and there is a friendly vibe here. The drinks list is also great, and I've enjoyed plenty of wines here over the years. The Railway Hotel is certainly a very nice boutique suburban pub with a lovely and friendly vibe.
Was here on Tuesday for their Parma specials, it was surprisingly great. Proper chicken breast, I had the Mediterranean sauce which I enjoyed, lots of olives, artichokes and what not. If you take it for what it is, it’s good food at really good value on Tuesdays!

Been in railway hotel on a lovely afternoon with my son for a nice chat and few drinks. Great addiction to the venue reasonable price and you can share a plate or a pizza as well. We will be back
Busy pub near the station that has a cool casual atmosphere. The food is always good and the prices are reasonable. Great if you need a quick meal before a movie at the Sun Theatre.

My friend and I went to the railway hotel yesterday. The rooftop bar is apparently a new addition to the building and it didn’t disappoint. It was modern and well fitted out. We ordered some of the sharing plates and the calamari was delish! The cheese platter only had a brie and I would have preferred a bit more of a cheese selection, especially because it was the most expensive sharing plate. Other than that, I think I’ve found my new summer spot.
Friday night steak, wine and footy! Great atmosphere, service was great friendly and attentive staff. I had the eye fillet which was cooked perfectly, it came with beans and asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and potatoes and was delicious! My friend had the haloumi salad and we got some greens to share! I would definitely come back!
Local pub with some great sharing options. Sitting in the main restaurant or the bar area are both great. Restaurant area is probably more appropriate for a quieter meal. Service is friendly - try the croquettes!
Went here for dinner on Wednesday night with friends, sat in the front bar area, atmosphere was good, I had the Wednesday night steak special which was great. Everyone happy with meals, will be back.
The service could be a touch more attentive but overall good food and decently priced - I'll be back again particularly for the Parma. Delicious.
We had well priced wine and beer at this Yarraville establishment. The rooftop bar was spacious and clean with a great atmosphere and view of the street. The bar was open with friendly bar staff. The food looked great.

This is a great spot. Really energetic pub vibe. Perfect spot to watch the footy (or any sport). Staff are always friendly. Food is always good.
I really enjoyed the chicken schnitzel burger. Pizza is always decent. Good selection of on tap beers and wines. I’m a fan of this pub and will continue to visit. Definitely recommend.
I loved the pork belly it wasn't just crunchy it was so mouth watering. It was well priced the staff friendly the atmosphere was something else the smell of frsh paint the renovations I'm definitely going back
