We normally wouldn’t have minded but my friends and I were in a bit of a rush to get somewhere and the food on this day took 40 minutes to come out (after we had ordered). The cafe is super cute and they have a great menu on offer but I sadly only had 2 minutes to enjoy my meal before I had to go :( The food tasted amazing and the service was great - would’ve been a 5 if the food didn’t take as long as it did...

This amazing cafe is on the outer parts of Adelaide city (whitmore square)

This very cozy cafe is tucked away in the outer part of Adelaide city. It’s interior is quiet unique but very homely feeling(it’s quiet quirky) the atmosphere was amazing we felt very uplifted!. We came here on a very busy Sunday morning.

My partner and I order our breakfast and was sipping on our 5/5 coffee. This time I tried oat milk cappuccino. It was amazing my partner had a lactose free cappuccino. He also said the best coffee he has had in Adelaide. As we where sipping on our coffee we where mesmerized watching the female chef 👩‍🍳 in her element. She was running this amazing kitchen with ease. It was so busy and she was doing all the cooking. Making it look so effortlessly. We just couldn’t believe her time management!

We both ordered Breakfast of champignons. It was so tasty, we added bacon 🥓 to ours. However the sizes where massive. The egg was poached to perfection! there was baked pumpkin. It was so tasty,The mushrooms where just perfect you could taste the herbs and butter. There was this honey that had mixed herbs and chilli. It brought such a sweet but spicy element to the meal. It was not over powering though you could taste all the flavors off all the ingredients!!!

As my partner and I was eating we where talking about how amazing this cafe was and taking in the experience . We got half way through the meal and was like that coffee was amazing,we need to order another! the quality off food and coffee is amazing

If you are looking for a Wow factor this cafe is not to be missed. You won’t be leaving disappointed. The Interior of the cafe through out is homely you actually feel like your in the chefs house who has a quirkiness to them . Even the bathrooms are well styled and homely decorated,One of the best hand basins I have Ever seen.

I highly recommend this cafe! It’s a little Jam tucked away in a quiet location in Adelaide.

Polite service and soul warming food. Tucked away but not completely hidden, a cute gem along whitmore square. Chilli scrambled eggs (add bacon) for myself which included pickled veg, slaw, the eggs and a garlic aioli atop a folded roti bread. Absolutely delicious- eggs were fluffy and plentiful, slaw was crisp and fresh, bacon was smokey and the aioli was tangy without being overbearing. Other half had the brekky pizza, side of haloumi. Not a crumb was spared. One and only downfall was the hot chocolate; hot but only somewhat chocolatey, as halfway through it was clumpy and crumbly to drink even with a good stir. Service however was polite and food came out precisely on time. Bravo.

Had lunch here because friend's mum recommended this place. Glad we went! I had the pumpkin stack which was satisfying for me, and friend had the pumpkin pizza and kombucha which I didn't get to try because he devoured it! Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we stayed for a while to appreciate the lovely interior (amazing decor & details!)

This place has been going strong for years. Consistently great coffee. Great locally sourced food options. Good service. I’ll always remember the amazing brekkie pizza I had the first time I came here. Haven’t come for dinner, but have always enjoyed the brunch options and clean treats. Definite 👍🏼 There’s a reason I keep coming back.

Stopped here as I needed a little break. Great little hang out spot. Tea was alright but I’m sure they do nice coffee. Friendly staff too and quite a quirky place

Got cafe Troppo as a tip and it was packed on a Sunday morning. We waited for a table outside on the terrace. There is a lot of self service here, order at the counter, got my own water and didn’t get cutlery either (which we found out after we got our meals but no cutlery). One dish we wanted wasn’t available anymore, would’ve been good if they would’ve told us straight away. Boyfriend’s strong latte was good, my piccolo was a bit bitter but not bad. Orange juice is very good value, huge glass for $6 with enough ice to cool it down but not so much that you’ve got more ice than oj. We had the summer stack and the panini panino. The summer stack wasn’t really a stack (see photo). I don’t think there were enough toppings on it. After I finished all the beetroot butter with 1/2 a slice of bread, I asked for some more which was no problem. The panini was nice, specially after I added the now surplus of beetroot butter. It was busy and a lot of staff, it seemed though they didn’t have the logistics under control yet. Really nice and popular little cafe, would definitely be able to get a higher score next time by doing some easy improvements!

Coffee was so smooth and nice! Crockery is pleasant on the eye and the menu is full of interesting stuff. We went on a sunday afternoon and the place was full! Vibes were definitely there! I had the waffles with caramelized apples, delicious!

Loved the vibe of the place! Visited them in the morning for breakfast, had a buckwheat cinnamon waffles and a pot of white tea - mind blowing!🔥 The place is dog-friendly, popular amongst local people, very polite and smiley staff, a great spot to start your day. Definitely going back to try their almond croissant! 😋🥐

A totally chilled location with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were friendly and our coffee was a 10/10, as too was the sourdough toast with poached egg. Well set up directly across from Whitmore Square with easy access for pedestrians and cyclists 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ Parking was a little trickier. If you find yourself in the neighbourhood, I'd recommend Cafè Troppo 👍🏼

Service was great, staff at front tried best to accomodate and amend miscommunication with kitchen staff. Stated allergy in one of the dishes and when it came out I noticed the ingredient was still on the dish in the dukkah. Staff were very apologetic. After a long wait the dish finally came out and it was nice and had enough taste - the Dukkah was not even necessary for the dish. Fresh juices were nice. Did not need a booking.
