What a bright and big space to catch up with friends over a coffee or meal.
Friendly service and great coffee. We had breakfast here and after to checking to see if the hollandaise was made on site and being assured it was, it’s definitely out of a bottle and covered the rest of the otherwise delicious breakfast.
La La La is one of my favourite haunts. It is conveniently located, does quality coffee all day but if you want some fine dining, Chef Marco has an array of authentic Italian dishes to whet your appetite and tantalise your taste buds. Great atmosphere, delightful wait staff, I'm always ready to head here.
Have been to La La La so many times for coffee with clients. And the coffee is good. I moved to the area this week and a friend suggested dinner on Saturday night. An odd choice I thought as Italian is not really our thing, preferring Asian cuisine. Now don’t get me wrong I love Italian fare but it’s easy enough to make at home.
Well I am hooked. The place has a great look and feel at night, who knew!, and the service was noteworthy.
We started with pizetta that’ll knock your socks off, vitello tonnato which is my favourite thing and was lovely, although maybe the mayo could be fishier, and the prosciutto and cheese. Which was to die for.
I had saltimboca a childhood favorite that is hard to get right in my experience (La Trattoria up the road make it oily and laden with sauce and I’ve stopped ordering it there) but this was perfect. It took me back to a neighbourhood, out of the way place we lived close to in Notting Hill Gate in London that set the bar for saltimboca, outside of Italy, obviously 🙄
Get used to seeing me please because I am bringing my kids and everyone I know!
