Lovely place and the usual classic Max Brenner feel. Love the chilli hot chocolate. Also love love the fondue. Although it can be shared amongst more than 2 people. It does get a bit heavy otherwise. There were two types of melted chocolate in the fondue pot along with bananas, marshmallows, strawberries and some cake for dipping. They have a huge variety of food and drinks. The ambience and service is great too though it does get a bit crowded in the evenings and the weekends since this is their only outlet in Adelaide.
If you're a die-hard chocolate fan, then this place is a must! Located on the vibrant strips of Rundle Street, this chocolate bar has placed itself as a competitor next to Cocolat (another chocolate dessert restaurant). This Max Brenner is quite spacious, staff are attentive, and standard is similar to interstate franchises. Ordered was two Belgian waffles coated in their signature chocolate, in addition to small serves of banana, strawberries, and two scoops of vanilla ice-scream. This dessert might seem refreshing at first with the fruits and ice-cream, but one can only handle so much sweetness!
Always satified when i visit a Max Brenner outlet. This one on Rundle Street in Adelaide CBD was no exception. Service was fast and efficient, menu items were great and the actual meals we ordered were excellent. I had a big milkshake and waffles and they were deliciously decadent. Nice ambiance and feeling in the cafe on a hot day.
