Review 127 Days - Adelaide

Kostas Apostolidis
First time here today. We ordered three burgers, the big trucker, and old fashioned and chicken fry. We also had Oreo and Timtam milkshakes, Mexican cola and onion rings. All the burgers were great, probably the best we have had and we do lots of burger places. The service here was excellent, colour in stuff for the kids was brought out, free treats for the kids at end of meal and free fries voucher. They even encouraged us and recommended some free spicy sauces. These guys are very well priced and put customer service as important as the quality of what they make. Well done to the owner Jackie, great customer service. We will be back and will bring our friends as well.

I've tried the Italian burger and was delicious! Also the chips were very good šŸ˜‹ the staff is very quick a d friendly! Definitely recommend. The milkshakes are good but not as cold is I was hoping and the whipped cream was missing.
Patrick Hung
Exceptional customer service from the owner and the fellow staffs. Superb menu, must try their mushroom burger!!!! If you are HOT, make sure you visit the HOT cabinet!
Ng Doris
Wonderful burger, very delicious! Jackie was very friendly. She introduced the menu to us and provided good services.

While a lot of people have reviewed the burgers that are great (simply the best!), the stuffed rice ball is another must try item I'd order each time. Love the stuffed cheese truffle with mushroom! Yum!!!
Wright Cheung
Best gourmet burger in the area. Also love their signature potota 'hash tag' (shown in photo), a chips lover must try. Large variety of soft drinks, also do good shakes. Price reasonable.
Sudharsan M
Best burgers ever. Would recommend not eating a lot before going here because the burgers are big and filling I mean that in a good way. Also I'm not sure what it is about their #tags(waffle fries) but they are simply the best I love them so much I would totally go there just to get them.
Noelle Li
the best burgers are like life ā€” messy and topped with melted cheeeese. Best burger i had so far in Adelaide
Robyn Noesen
Super cool place, friendly staff and most importantly tantalizing food! Found the place by it's reviews, they won't disappoint. Enjoy!

What other Burger joint puts up a new special burger everyday? These Speakeasies rock my jocks! All you dumb ass wanna be food critics who leave 3&4 star reviews with no constructive criticism have clearly been watching too much Masterchef! Seriously who the f**k are you to judge? I bet you can't even make 2 minute noodles without burning them! This place is kills all other Burger joints, here & worldwide.
Karen Winter
First time to 127 Days Urban Eats, we had the Croydon Cheese Steak with # tags. Great service, delicious food wiil certainly be back and definitely recommend to others. Can't wait to try a burger. Finished our meal by watching the pageant floats returning along Days Rd.

I have been working on the South Road project for 2 years and had never hurd about you guys. My friend told me last night you do the best Burgers in Adelaide. I came to visit you yesterday and all I can say is WOW. It is absolutely the best burger I have ever had..... See you next cheat day ļæ½ļæ½

I hadnā€™t been back to 127 days since I first came with my wife (maybe 4 years ago?) when they first opened- no fault of 127 days, just never got around to getting the best burgers in Adelaide. That sentence gets thrown around a bit but donā€™t let it distract you from the fact that I have been to America and actually eaten at burger joints that have 30+ years of experience on these guys and 127 days makes them look like rookies. The combinations just work, the service is above and beyond as you are treated with a smile, explain the menu in depth if you are unsure with which marvellous creation you will pick for the day. I actually came in with my daughter, ordered a burger and fries, my daughter had some fries because sheā€™s not a big eater (only 1 1/2) and the team brought me out some arancini balls free of charge as a great option that I overlooked- thatā€™s the kind of above and beyond you really appreciate. I love Adelaide small business but these guys effort today (and everyday) has made me jump in my car, and sit here writing whatā€™s starting to look like an essay crossed with a job application. I couldnā€™t recommend this place anymore without actually owning shares in it. ļæ½ BEST BURGERS WORLDWIDE here, at your doorstep adelaidians.

Without a doubt some of the best chips I have ever had and the burgers are absolutely to die for!
Brodie Naughtin
Recently moved to Brisbane and me and my partner havenā€™t found a burger place that comes anywhere near the 127 burgers!!! Honestly best burgers ever!! I miss you 127 days!!!
Matt Carr

Chelsea Carmen Smith
Me and my partner absolutely love this place , the burgers are so amazing I could happily call them the best burgers that I have ever had !!!
Verena Rousseau
Best burger place in Adelaide! The hash tags are to die for!
John A Laube
Great people and Awsome food. Group of us visited twice in the last week. Both times friendly efficient service and top quality food. Highly recommend. Look forward to eating their again soon when in the area. Keep up the good work.
Shaun Read
Been looking for a good burger restaurant for a while now and I think I have found one. Love your burger specials, wished I lived closer so I can come more often ļæ½ļæ½

Most delicious pulled pork burger I've ever had and the hash tag fries were really crunchy and flavoursome, just how I like it. Great selection of soft drinks as well! Loved the ambience of the space and music it provided. We all had a great time and left very satisfied. Will definitely be coming back!
Sovann Thach
I love this place. I keep raving to people about how good it is, then taking them there and nervously watching them eat... everyone so far has said that it's one of the best burgers they've had.
Alyssa Ravesteyn
The best burgers I have even tasted!! I also love the # tags and the fried chicken!! Such good food, we always leave so full!! ļæ½ļæ½
Matthew Jamieson
Best Burgers in Adelaide; I come here to eat with my Partner when we are craving a burger and the staff are always willing to accomodate to my custom orders. We have just finished eating here on a Saturday evening and I typically order the Old Fashioned (customised to my liking) the burger is consistently delicious every time and I always look forward to coming back.
Darcy
Delicious cheeseburger and the waffle fries are amazing

127 DaysĀ is a bit of a journey for me but, good burgers are worth it right? This place has long been famous for their burgers, the menu gets pretty creative and I love some of the names. I mean, with a name like 127 Ways to Die youā€™ve got to order it. Cheese Banger $10. After all that it was justĀ Cheese Banger, classic cheeseburger because temptation aside, that was the craving. Simple cheeseburger with good beef, onion, pickle, mustard, ketchup and cheese. Well they put mayo too. Patty is good and juicy, medium in the middle, loved it. Craving satisfied. Iā€™m eyeing 127 Ways to Die and Italian Job next time. Although, the Mushroom Melt is a soft spot. I see mushrooms and caramelised onion I go OHHHHHHHH.
Jess Robins
Travelled all the way from the Eastern Suburbs to find this place. Delicious, tasty and quick - would recommend if around the area! Contrary to some reviews on here found the staff friendly, and greeted us with a smile.
EvilRobotSanta
Thank you for a great burger and a fun start to my night. <br/>The cheeseburgers are just like in America so juice I could have eaten two easily, but could not fit them in. <br/>Loved seeing some of the yummy drinks you only get OS. <br/>Service was great and the food didn't take long to come out. <br/>This must be the best burger joint in Adelaide.
Kitty Chau
Environment: 3.5 comfy n casual dinning place , not oily inside even open kitchen in the restaurant <br/>Service: 3.5 <br/>Food: 3.5<br/><br/>Burger<br/>127 ways to die: saucy n spicy with juicy pasty<br/>Mushroom melt: not too saucy, I would expect more sautƩed mushrooms or a big flat mushroom instead shredded mushroom. Bacon was crispy enough when served even they were put into the burger.<br/><br/>Burger overall: <br/>Burger can be better if the the buns can be slightly toasted with butter. <br/>Very appreciate the pasty! Not well done when served, quite good. <br/><br/>Snacks <br/>Cheese arancini : nice representation, but if u are not too hungry, recommend share it with your friends or try it next time, coz rice stuffed balls with creamy sauce. <br/>Tag: excellent! Very fresh! They were served immediately right after deep fried! Amazing tags!

We popped in for dinner after a very good recommendation and unfortunately for me it just didnā€™t deliver. The chicken BLT burger was extremely bland, no seasoning at all and the chipotle mayo and added sriracha sauce couldnā€™t save it either. The size of the chicken piece and bacon were both smaller than expected making it quite a small burger. Shoe string fries were ok only, again under seasoned. Not somewhere Iā€™d return to.
Australianv
The burgers and fries here are consistently good. I recommend the mushroom melt and cheeseburgers. If you want the true American diner experience, hit up the thickshakes too..Very delicious. Portions are large and every time I've had lunch here, I've unusually found myself channelling my inner mid lifer by saying "Nah I'll skip dinner, had a big lunch". If you're in that part of town, swing by and make it worth your while.
Eatmeef
Oil literally drops from and glistens on your food. Aside from that serving size is generous. Probably wouldn't get the chicken burger if I went again, it was a bit dry. Hashtags were yum. Seating is pretty tight and I'm not really a stool kinda gal.
Just Falafs
We are or should I say were lucky enough to live up the road from 127. It was our weekly take away treat, well, no more. The old staff were friendly, the food was off the highest quality, the service was quick all until the place changed owners. We visited twice the food was sloppy, not well seasoned and took ages to arrive even with only 6 other customers inside (this too is unusual the place used to be packed). As I waited for my order I noticed a man talking to the chef, we was basically standing in the kitchen talking over the food, he even coughed once which put me right off, the chef didn't even try to get him to stand back, friend or not, that's just not ok. Young scruffy guys with holes in their ears not looking the most hygeinc was another put off. Optics are everything, coupled with high quality food. Such a shame.
The Other Jenners
What a fab local find! I was working nearby and my interstate colleagues recommended 127 Days for lunch. I had the (seemingly) simple Cheese Banga and Hashtag fries (fun name, they call them Criss Cross in QLD). Well it was #DELICIOUS! Great flavours, which is totally understandable considering everything is made on site. Would return in a heartbeat.
Dre
Best burger I had in ages!!! I had of the SPEAKEASY burgers and zomg it was delicious!!!<br/>Totally recommend!!! <br/>I have since beought a few friends along and they were impressed. Although weekdays they close at 4pm, which is a bummer if you work bit late...
Peter Dodgson
Excellent burgers and great staff. Near here for work for a week and came four times for lunch. Liked the Facebook burgers. Different each day. Worth a trip to enjoy
James Warner
The burger was amazing. One of the best burgers I've had in Adelaide and those hashtag fries are just incredible. Actually bought a second bad of hashtag fries, that's how good they were. So glad this place is close to my mate's place hahaha
Minh Nguyen
Very busy for 2pm on a rainy Monday. Big, juicy, dripping everywhere kinda burgers. Loved the hashtag chips and hot sauces on offer. I was having a YOLO moment so also devoured a Tim Tam shake with no regrets
4chillies
Definitely eat in. We have had takeaway before but unfortunately by the time we got home they were on the soggy side. We ate in this time and even though they were crazy busy we didn't have to wait that long for our burgers. Delicious. It would have been perfect if we could have had a beer to go with it but they are not licensed. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for a burger.
Valaina
Fast and friendly service, place has a chilled atmosphere. I was recommended by a few friends to give their burgers a try. I wouldn't say their burgers are the best as it lacks flavour. I probably won't rush back anytime soon.
Pyro
Came during a work trip, very popular gem however hidden away. I had ordered the Cheese Banga and Chicken Fry Burger with Cajun Cheese Fries and Caramel Milkshake. The Cheese Banga burger was excellent, nice juicy patty with nice pickles, nice cheese and toasted sesame seed buns, the Chicken Fry was awesome as well, crumbed very nicely, chicken not dry, excellent burgers. The Milkshake was just milk and caramel sauce, not really anything special and the cajun cheese fries, got soggy after take away. So Burgers were excellent and executed very well, the milkshake and fries, hit and miss but overall a really good burger place.
Peter Zeus
It's a must try hamburger joint. So fresh and tasty. It ain't no ordinary burger. There are all these new "fancy" commercialised burger places/franchises popping up everywhere, but this place puts them to shame. Do yourself a favour, grab your mates and go check it out! Enjoy..
Mat Prider
Heard great things about the place from mates and popped in for a quick feed. Great service and great food. One of the best burgers I have had, highly recommended!
Nicholas Llewellyn
There is no other burger joint I'd bother eating at now. 127 days is far and away the best burger operation in Adelaide. The daily specials are culinary masterpieces - some so creative it bends your concept of what a burger means. <br/>But if that's all too high brow for you the basics are perfectly reliable. <br/>Buns āœ”ļø<br/>Burgers āœ”ļø<br/>Consistency āœ”ļø<br/>Creativity āœ”ļø<br/>Friendly staff/owners āœ”ļø<br/>Shakes āœ”ļø<br/>Fries, hashtags, potato gems āœ”ļø<br/>Cannot recommend this place highly enough. The only downside is once you've been once, you'll never be satisfied by another burger again.
Shannon
127 ways to die (if you like the hot stuff) and Croydon cheese steak are our all time favourites.<br/>If you can fit it all in to make it a meal, get the hashtags, amazing!<br/>Get in early, a must try!<br/>
Jayden Carrigg
Cool little place. Never would've picked it to be as good as it was or have such a good Tim tam milkshake. Definetly would come here again!!!!
Natalie Smith
Amazing burgers! I just finished the cheeseburger, and I'm already wanting to come back! Next time I will definitely get fries too. Fast service, even though it was busy.
DLe-cious Eats
Great place to satisfy your burger cravings! I ordered the 127 ways to die and added panko chicken for a small price of $3 while my girlfriend went for the Godzilla. My god my burger packed a lot of heat!! The flavours worked well with each other and the panko chicken to my burger was the necessary addition! My burger was overloaded with jalapeƱos and red chillies...definitely not recommended for those who can't handle their chilli. I tried the Godzilla and unfortunately although it was visually appealing and generously big, the flavours were a little disjointed due to having too many ingredients packed into one burger. I do appreciate the attempt however my enormously HOT burger was a winner for me. Can't forget the great service too! Would visit again.
Joanne
Had the Godzilla and cheese banger. Patty was juicy. Godzilla was huge and very filling. Also ordered the spicy wings. $9 for 4 drumlets and 4 wings may be slightly pricey, but loved the taste of it. Burgers and sides are reasonably priced. Staff there are friendly.
JayTea & The Co-Pilot
Stepping into this hip joint we were greeted with the aroma of freshly grilled burgers and we took a minute to just enjoy what we were about to feast on. I opted to go for 127 Daysā€™ version of the cheeseburger, funnily named ā€˜cheese bangerā€™ whilst The Co-Pilot went a bit more adventurous and chose The Mushroom Melt.
Ho-Toro
You know what I love? Honesty. Authenticity.Ā <br/><br/>You know what else I love? Burgers.<br/><br/>These words define 127 Days and it is why I (and many other burger lovers) feel it's the best Burger place in Adelaide.Ā <br/><br/>It's taken me a while to write this review, more so because I've felt I haven't been here enough. With each visit, I became more impressed with their consistency, creativity, and just the size of their burgers relative to its pricing that the burgers at 127 days offer. Their burgers were so impressive that I couldn't wait another week for a burger. I needed to have another one soon. The craving for a juicy, mouth-watering patty was too much to ignore.<br/><br/>The daily specials have always seduced me to travel back and are responsible for my excessive cheat days. There is this one burger, the Kimchi Burger, whenever it is featured on their Facebook page is an obligatory trip to 127 days when it gets featured. Faithfully fusing staple Korean ingredients like Kimchi and typical Korean BBQ marinades with their masterfully grilled patty to create a truly salivating fusion of Asian and Western cuisines.<br/><br/>The 127 Ways To Die and Bad Mother Trucker show that their sophistication and creativity are not reserved for their specials but can be enjoyed with any visit. They impress by improving classics such as the old-fashioned, essentially a cheese-less burger (tasty nonetheless), and the cheese banga. And of course... those who want to rebel against established norms on the amounts one can eat with larger options like the jaw-breaking Godzilla. An enormous tower of Angus Beef, Panko Chicken, Bacon,Ā Egg, Taleggio, Lettuce, Caramelised Onion,Ā Jalapenos, Habanero TabascoĀ and Chipotle Aioli that you have to at least attempt to eat once.<br/><br/>Keep in mind you're more than welcome to add more patties, cheese, bacon, and other condiments that this reviewer has forgotten to your choosing (in fairness my stomach does not have the capacity to make me feel like I've ever needed this). Each burger features a perfectly toasted brioche bun, and flawlessly melted cheese resting in between the meats. Enjoy the fresh produce: the iceberg lettuce or the mushroom in the Mushroom Melt, and realise no components feel underutilised and tastes harmoniously with their hand-formed beef patties.<br/><br/>Long ago they served crinkle-cut chips, and if you were ordering them for the first time, you probably wouldn't want to order them again (thankfully I was warned not to do so, and was offered them by a friend). However they have replaced this forgettable side with delicious, crispy french fries. The hash-tags, fried potatoes that are shaped like a #, here are always a staple side to my burger, and it is just another successful example of creativity that this place seems to ooze out like the juices from their patties.<br/><br/>It's also worth mentioning that the waitresses here, and the cooks are very friendly and hospitable. In my brief interactions with them, the warmth and candour displayed have always made me feel welcome.<br/><br/>This burger joint is quite the success story. It's a burger joint in an asian-dominated community that has brought people from all parts of Adelaide... from all walks of life. And with food this good I'm not surprised; food at this quality is normally served from top-quality gastropubs. This place feels like a passion project, and it's unfortunate that they're not open longer or on Sundays (as of this review) but it shows that this place is worth travelling to and worth scheduling your day around. Because by not doing so, you're unfortunately settling for less by a significant margin. Only here will you find the best burgers in Adelaide.*<br/><br/>*I'm sorry Bread and Bone.
Kym Le
Good burgers and fries. Generous portions too. My brothers loved the Cajun chicken (I think that's what it was) and the chilli cheese fries too. Left feeling very full and for reasonable prices compared to other burger eats.
Hari Krishnan P
The burgers were relatively good compared to a few others, I really wish they had more variety in the fries department. American hotdogs would do great as well.
ForkfullofLife
Wow! What a burger. Big, extremely tasty and decently priced. What more could you ask for?<br/>Went on a Friday night and the place was packed. I had the vegetarian burger with added chicken which had an amazing gorgonzola sauce and my friend had the bad mother trucker burger which was also amazing. The hash tags were really tasty- better than the totts. Many spicy sauces to choose from. Would definitely recommend and will be back :-) thanks!
Mark Chau
Appetite City felt the wrath of the King of Lizards! The mighty Godzilla Burger here is rightfully named so. It was extremely filling and cooked just right! The jalapeƱos and hot sauce left the perfect amount of shouldering embers in my mouth just like the real deal would have. Would recommend pre ordering if coming here for lunch though! They have a deserved busy lunch rush!
MissSarma
Classic burger is always a winner for me. The suburban hot spot has never let me down. Lots of mouth watering menu options available. Hash tags chips are a must try!
Vanessa
I haven't tried many burger joints however this is definitely one of the best I have tried. Delicious burgers, fast service and reasonable prices.
Feed Me, Adelaide
Being from the other side of town, to me 127 Days has been for quite some time a bit of an enigma. A friend of mine tagged himself there one day which piqued my interest. Gradually, as time passed, more and more instances of this venue popped up on my radar through the course of my usual burger rummaging through the interwebs.
David Morris
If you are looking for the best burgers in Adelaide, then this is your place. The 127 ways to die is legit as! Super spicy so be warned. They also do fresh juice to wash down the fire. Big thumbs up.
Ilias Mavromatis
I like to think I know a little about the burger scene in Adelaide and this place is right up their with the best if not a top 3. Surrounded by Asian supermarket and restaurant it stands out as the odd one out nothing flash from the outside but boy once you walk in it hits you with the aroma of beef patty and bacon smell. Not too bill inside probably able to seat 20 people I can assure you you must try this place 2min from the Arndale cinema make a perfect night of it.
Michael
Was taken here for lunch as part of a work meeting.<br/><br/>An amazing selection of great burgers.<br/><br/>The staff were very good. We were a group of about 20 and they did not stop that from impacting on the other customers (I was watching to see how other customers were being treated and how long it took for them to get served etc).<br/><br/>Everything about the experience was great.<br/><br/>If you are doing a group/work lunch, ask them about a deal as were had a great deal for the budget we had to work to.
Ali
127 Days is THE burger place in Adelaide. Hands down. Every experience I have had has been amazing. I'm renown for not being able to finish burgers, just ask my partner Tas, but I make a exception at 127 Days, I will eat every last piece of deliciousness because it's so tasty. Where to start? I've had the cheese banger a couple of times - great staple burger. The mushroom melt is simply yum. The panko chicken burger is great too, but I just can't go past the beef patties - they are so juicy and packed full of taste. The condiment selection is extensive and the hash tags are #freakingamazing. I love picking out a sauce and dripping it through the hashtags. Ahh. Yummo. And the buns. Don't get me started. The buns are so flavoursome. I often do the meal deal and team it with a creaming soda - the God of soft drinks. The staff are always super friendly and have a smile on their dial. If you want a burger in Adelaide - go here. I am yet to find one that is better, and that compels me to eat the whole damn thing. 127 Days - you rock āœŒšŸ»ļø
Crab Cakes
Excellent burgers. Had the Godzilla which featured a beef and a chicken patty and was gigantic. Hash tags are also great. Really cool little gem in reppin the western suburbs. Service was also fantastic. Really lovely staff.
VK
Probably my favourite burger place in Adelaide, love trying their daily speakeasy burger plus the Italian Job and Squealed With a Kiss on the regular menu. Hashtag chips are the way to go<br/>Food is always top notch and service is friendly, atmosphere is really 'urban'
Thefaeriecupcake
We visited 127 days last weekend and I must say, I wasn't too impressed with their burgers, having been to a few better ones here in the city. I had the chicken panko which was really bland. My partner however had he mushroom burger and it was waaaaaay better than mine. I guess beef patties are always the safer option!
BruschettaKing
It's been said a million times before... 127 Days is the best burger in Adelaide. When you couple that with their excellent customer service and brilliant value for money you have got a winning combination.Ā <br/><br/>The best part about 127 is I have been going there about once a week for the last 6...
Angie-Marie Piantadosi
I love a good American food joint but unfortunately this place just didn't do it for me! the food was average and we ordered some starters to try out and they came out way after we had gotten our burgers and they weren't consistent! Dissapointed!
Peter & Erin Knutas
Absolutely love this place! My partner and I can't resist this place. We have, and will continue to, go completely out of our way to eat here. The food is great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are wonderful. Can not fault this place. Everyone we have taken here have loved it too!<br/><br/>Our favourite burger place by far!
Khoa
Delicious and filling burgers. A succinct menu with clear cut choices will make deciding real easy. A twist on the chips as well with three different types to choose from. Hidden gem of the western suburbs.
Mathew Hnoudis
I typically restrict eating burgers and fries so when I do crave it, I don't want to be disappointed with a crummy burger and soggy chips...<br/>And that's why I come to 127 days!!!!<br/>Today I had the Godzilla.... The burger to have when you are:<br/>Hungry and can't decide between a chicken burger and s beef burger. <br/>Burger was excellent albeit a bit big to be able to eat with any grace or decorum.<br/><br/>***i have since been back and I have to say that the service here has fallen significantly. The lack of language skills that the service staff have impacted the orders on several occasions with them getting the wrong items. Not sure if it has changed hands but it does not have the same feel to the service and the quality of the food.***
Tas
Could be the best burger place in Adelaide. Find it hard to go past the 127 Ways to Die burger. Nice range of hot sauces. Friendly service. While i was there last a small bowl of chips were bought out for a small child who was eating the parents chips. Thoughtful. Oh and make sure you get the hash tags. They are the best.
Karrie Tucker
Got my shake wrong, the squealed with a kiss burger was bland (even doused in hot sauce, which they have in impressive selection of) and the Cajun fries tasted of raw spices. It was ok. Cute little place with an extensive menu which I might try again later on considering its local.
Anna Lam
I think this place did a fairly good job with its variety of burger choices. Being surrounded by a neighbourhood full of Asian/Vietnamese restaurants, it was pleasant to see a bit of a change and uniqueness from this place and it was not a disappointment. I chose the menu 'sealed with a kiss' which was pulled pork with hot cheese and the usual salad + spicy Mayo. My friend chose '127 ways to die' which had almost every possible hot and spicy thing! As a big fan of spiciness himself he was delighted to say that it did not disappointment him. We also had a side of Cajun cheese fries and drinks (berry spider and Milo shake). Overall, the customer service was very friendly and the area was pleasantly quiet for you to enjoy your burger will and have a chat with your company.
Kenellul
Good prices and great serving size, nice atmosphere.<br/>Nice choices of burgers, all that I had tried tasted awesome.<br/>We will definitely be back!
MGDL
Pretty good burgers! I had the mushroom melt on recommendation from a friend and the truffle aioli was great. My mates got the 127 ways to die (chilli) and rated it. They've got a large selection of drinks, spiders and shakes. And Ben & Jerry ice cream. Great suburban eatery.
Pizzacutter
Nice friendly service, fresh burger buns and tasty patties with a perfect amount of pickle and sauce. The chicken came as a suprise as I was expecting to get wings and drumsticks but got tenders. Delicious all round. Will be returning!
Wifeychef
Excellent everything! We came at 3pm and the owners were so happy to see us and asked if we have been there before and told us what to do. It's nice when a smile and friendly service goes along way :D I ordered a plain cheeseburger and my husband ordered 127 days to die (had a bit of kick to it ) over all was amazing and best burgers we have tried. Can't wait to come back! Thanks guys :)
Cheeky Diner
If burgers are your thing.....then 127days is your place! I've been here on two occasions and each time was as good as the last. I've sampled both the 'cheese banger' (cheese burger) and 'chicken fry' (chicken burger) . Both were really good however I enjoyed the cheeseburger more. Juicy well cooked patty with good flavour. This is a great place to pick up some burgers for a quiet night in or a quick bite with a friend. I wouldn't recommend large groups because the place is rather small. I would only go here if your in the mood for a burger and fries as there isn't anything else on the menu. They also offer tater tots, waffle fries & 'Ben & Jerrys Ice cream'. A definite must try if you love your burgers!
FooDee
Maybe I ordered the wrong burger - the cheese burger (with added bacon) - but I did not like it. The bun was OK. When I bit into the meat on its own, it was quite tasteless and chewy. My partner's mushroom burger tasted nicer (I had a bite) and he did like it too. We also liked the crinkled chips - super fatty but oh well :)<br/>I enjoyed the busy and relaxed feel. We came on a Friday night so it was packed out. The staff were also nice and welcoming. <br/>We might come again at some stage but I will not be ordering the cheese burger.
Ann J Huang
Their 'mushroom melt' and '127 ways to die' were both delicious! Patties were seared to perfection, sealed amongst well-balanced ingredients and accompanied by a soft (similar to the texture/taste of brioche) bun, at an assembled height worthy of a jaw-breaking, messy yet scrumptious feast. You can also choose a combo (5$ extra), which will give you a can of beverage and choice of chips (hashtags (highly recommended), tots, frenchies). Everything is cooked to order, including chips, and comes piping hot and to both of our satisfaction on this winter night.<br/><br/>Staff were friendly, delightful and helpful. Cosy ambience with simple aesthetics and a varied clientele. I love how it was such an unpretentious place to eat massive burgers. <br/><br/>The only downside to this place is their poor ventilation. Just come prepared to smell like hot grills and enjoy the food : )<br/>
FoodCritiq
Top of burger list in Adelaide's burger boom! Tasty and the way a burger should be. Ticks all the boxes for quality and freshness, creative friendly unpretentious.
Pungeanello
Went here tonight with my wife,we went for a early dinner and by the time we were finished it was getting busy.<br/>I ordered the 127ways to die combo and my wife got the cheeseburger combo<br/>Mine was one of the best burgers I've ever had,the beef pattie was amazing and the bun was so soft and flavoursome, the jalapeƱos and the sauce was hot an super tasty<br/>My wife's been to America before a couple of times an she said her burger tasted like she was back in the states<br/>The staff were very friendly an extremely helpful, well done 127 days and you will see us again very soon!<br/>
Sahar&Aurelio
We went on a Friday night and it had a great busy atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the bad mutha trucker which was massive. I did find the burger a bit too peppery but I think that was just the egg, The Sauce and bun were delicious. I wouldn't get that burger again, I would get the cheese burger. Also, get the hashtag chips (much better than the tots) Ā with a side of garlic aioli!

Delicious burgers and friendly staff. This little burger place is a great stop for burgers and hashtag chips. The burgers are huge my friend and I have to share one between the two of us. Always coming back :)

You all must have heard of the little burger joint called 127 days down on 127 Days Road ā€“ itā€™s that little suburban gem that you always dream about finding.Ā As you guys would already knowĀ I have a horrible track record on burger places and usually am not easily impressed.Ā Well finally I have some good news for you ā€“ I rate 127 Days! This and McDonaldā€™s Create Your Taste rangeĀ I can get behind :D

After travelling down from the Barossa for some shopping, my partner and I had the pleasure of dining at this great burger joint for lunch on Friday. The staff were friendly and happily brought us a high chair to seat Master Hagan in. <br/><br/>The 127 Ways to Die had a nice amount of heat while still having great flavour. The wife had The Mushroom Melt and had nothing but praise. The burgers were tasty, juicy and perfectly cooked and the buns were beautifully soft.<br/><br/>The cajun cheese fries were great to share and had just the right amount of chilli and cheese.<br/><br/>The shakes were nice, but I would have liked mine to be colder. Just a personal preference and very minor gripe.<br/><br/>Overall, the service was great, the food was delicious and we'll definitely be going back for more.
Mr. Potato-san
Amazing service. The staff were really nice and caring. Lots of choices on the menu, and the daily burgers is a great idea, allows customers to choose and try some very unique burgers where you can not get at other places.

Really great burger joint hidden away in Adelaide. An absolute must try if you love burgers. You can taste the love in the burgers. The Godzilla burger and The Cure are amazing creation, you can barely fit the whole burger in your mouth. The hashtag chips were very delightful. The service is really good as well.

This place has a cool vibe, real friendly staff and a menu that keeps everyone happy! I had the 127 ways to die, which had a good amount of heat, but not so much that you couldn't taste what was going on!
Bianca Lazar
Totally delish. <br/>Excellent service. <br/>Coming back until I have eaten the menu.<br/>.5 deducted as my Squealed With a Kiss didn't have hot melted cheese on it as advertised, but I couldn't stop eating long enough to ask for it!
FoodChick
Great burger place, and amazing staff and owners!Ā <br/><br/>I absolutely loved the cheese burger, the meat was cooked perfectly, the flavours went so well together, the chips were delicious and the strawberry milkshakes were the bomb!<br/><br/>Will come back again to try the other menu items.

Their Croydon Cheese Steak is the best cheese steak sandwich in Adelaide. Burgers and assortment of sides are good also. Other shared plates like fried chicken are nice finger food but are not their highlights. Funky selection of American soft drinks go well with the burgers
Michael G
Absolutely bloody magnificent. Almost a bit of out of place as it seems to be the only non-Vietnamese shop in the centre, but these guys serve up ripping burgers to all people. Had the 127 days to die and the hashtags. Ā Burger was arguably the best I've had in Adelaide, the hashtags a decent little novelty. Prices are outstanding. I can imagine these guys expanding soon, solid effort.
Vera Chu
Great burger!! Good food with cheap price!

Awesome burgers, I drive over half hour to eat here. Great service as well<br/><br/>Can't wait to try the rest of the menu

Amazing. Hands down best burgers in Adelaide! Mushroom Melt is awesome. Does not leave you with that 'why did I just eat American' feeling. <br/>Friendly service and quality ingredients.

Dry, Tasteless, Dull. The table set out was shocking. It's just a few tables of four in one long row, practically as if you were all dining together. I wouldn't recommend coming here based on that aspect alone. The lighting was dim, foreshadowing of the meal to come perhaps? Firstly the special burger was sold out. Then the potato gems were sold out. The "Plain and Simple Burger" I ordered had a dry, burnt bun. The meat was tough and hard to rip through, amazing considering there was still "rare" meat on the inside. Despite having both mayonnaise and tomato sauce the burger was still dry. Because they didn't have potato gems I reluctantly ordered "potato hashtags". These were so salty my lips still hurt as I write this review. Another disappointing aspect to this place is they don't have any kind of "special sauce" like Nordburger, Burger Theory etc. so I was left to use probably Home-brand tomato sauce which was also too salty. <br/>The only thing that didn't disappoint was things the restaurant had no control over, such as the can of drink I had.

AMAZING... enough said.. Read title above. <br/>9.5/10

Always satisfied!. Love this place!! The staff are awesome, great service, the food (127 ways to die burger combo, my favourite) is to die for ;) and I love that Tim tam milkshake!! :) Thanks guys keep up the great work!!
Lemongrass
Great burgers cooked with love. This is what happens when one of a Adelaides top chefs opens his own burger bar. Yum.

Unimpressed! Never Again!. The burgers aren't bad, nor are the fries, but the service wouldn't suffer from a bit of effort. Anyone who's worked hospitality knows that if you only have 5/6 tables, its not hard to keep track of who ordered what, and if there's only 1 take away order, that customer should stand out like a sore thumb. We were in a bit of rush, but our food sat there for a good 10mins before they 'called out" that our food was ready. Apparently the 3m to the table we were waiting at was too far for them. And even then, no appologies. <br/>And the girl with the half shaved head, just rude. Been there 3 times in total, and she has always had a look of "Oh God! MORE Customers!?!" <br/>Its a shame, its a funky looking place, and like I said, foods not bad, but the vibe is not welcoming. <br/>We won't be back.
ALD
OMG amazing. Fancy burger places seem to be the new trend but this place is unbelievable. Burgers have lots of interesting flavours and three choices for potato, fries, tots or hashtags all really good. Only disappointment is that they aren't open for dinner every night of the week otherwise we would be there more often.

My favourite gourmet burger in Adelaide so far. I have tried a few of the gourmet burger places in Adelaide and 127 Days still gets my vote as my favourite. I love the thick meaty burger and the #tags are a brilliant change from chips/fries. I took my OH after raving about 127 Days and he was very impressed and said it lived up to my hype.<br/><br/><br/>-----26 Oct, 2014-----<br/><br/>One of my favourite burgers in Adelaide so far. Great burger, loved the hashtags made an interesting change from fries and will definitely visit again. We went at lunchtime and it was busy but we were served quickly.

UNDOUBTEDLY THE BEST BURGERS IN THE WEST. I know there is a lot of competition opening in the west (and I encourage it) but this place is consistent and amazing each and every time. Had the 127 ways to die burger... Absolutely delicious!! Accompanied by their signature crispy fries and a drink and I was in heaven. Friendly, helpful staff and a relaxed environment. Good to see that they are open over the Easter weekend too!<br/><br/><br/>-----24 Oct, 2014-----<br/><br/>Bad mutha trucker. So I had to try this place. I've heard good things so thought I'd give it a crack... And if you like burgers, it doesn't disappoint. Albeit, the burger I selected was loaded with flavour, it was very "wet" and left a huge puddle of liquid in the plate which started to drown my beautiful crispy chips! <br/>I ordered just before the line up started and the food was out within 5 minutes. The chips were long, had a nice crunch and were seasoned well. <br/>Make sure you don't order this burger and wear a white shirt... The result isn't the best! <br/>I liked it and rate it as a pretty good burger and fries joint. I'd like to try some of their less stacked burgers in the hope that I don't have so much juice ooze and drip down my arms. <br/>I'll be back for another round! Good to see a good burger joint in the western suburbs. Well priced also. Keep up the good work guys.

Still Searching For Best Burger. The food here is great don't get me wrong. As far as burger bars go this one checks all the boxes! We first tried the MotherTrucker and it was pretty good and very tasty! but on second visit...I tried the pulled pork burger, I really wanted to like this burger but it somehow fell short, it was a good burger . The staff are friendly and helpful with a great atmosphere. will definatley try this place again and seek a favorite burger!

Fantastic!. Believe the hype, 127 Days is the real deal for big, juicy American diner burgers. Tucked away in an odd little strip mall off Torrens Rd, inside 127 Days is dark and funky. Every table has ketchup, American mustard and sriracha. We had the cajun chilli fries which are essentially chilli cheese fries with a liberal sprinkle of cajun spices over the top, but the chilli - oh, the chilli! - is the best I've had anywhere outside of the US or my own kitchen. Dark as my heart, smoky, salty, meaty, hot anough to buzz your lips - perfect in every way! For the burgers we tried the standard cheeseburger and the "127 Ways To Die" chilli cheeseburger, with habanero sauce and a good handful of jalapenos. The burgers are diner burgers done right, with toasted "bread-like" buns, good sized patties and a heap of extras like cheese, pickles, shredded lettuce, and so on. 127 Ways to Die was certainly plenty hot enough, I had to keep on eating before the chilli caught up with me, and the stardard cheeseburger disappeared in quick time as well. The only minor criticisms are that our burgers were perhaps closer to medium-well than the medium we'd really like (and I can see from the photos on here that they are usually served "pinker" so that's all good), and while the service was friendly and helpful, the actual cooking/waiting time was quite long. Probably just one of those things though, and shouldn't deter anyone from getting down there and getting stuck into one of the best burgers (and fries!) in this fair city!

I think the chicken burger melted in my mouth!!! Best tasting burger and great value for money!
Welovefood
Fantastic. Adelaide is getting so many great burger bars & this is another one. They know how to do a burger & their chilli cheese fries are so good. The pulled pork burger was divine I could have had another. This will become one of our regulars

The best value burgers in town! SUPER tasty.

BEST.. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend - We went there for dinner, I had 'The Cure' and my girlfriend had 'The Forgotten (V)'. Great service, friendly staff and best off all amazing burgers!!! Also - #Hashtag fries are a must. Do yourself a favour and check it out.

I had the "Squealed with a Kiss" pulled pork and slaw burger. Great burger! The balance between the richness of the pork and sweet freshness of the slaw was sublime. My partner had the "mushroom melt" with beef, roasted mushrooms and truffle mayo, without doubt the best burger in Adelaide! <br/><br/>Great service, great staff, amazing food!

A-ma-zing. This place not only does great burgers but the customer service and ambience is great. If you love a good "home made" burger you'll love this place. Lots of fresh ingredients. Keep up the good work guys and can't wait to see you introduce more urban eats to your menu. :)

Great burger, small little place out of no where. tanks for the hard work and risk to bring products like this into this community.<br/>being a new commer in the business, its always a great challenge, there are always fantastic foodies, critics, unhappy customers around, who has never worked in the kitchen before, needless to say, running a business AND your trade skills together.<br/>try your best to do what you are doing ethically, no guilt, and appreciate every single customers and your co workers.<br/>many complaints out there simply too much ignorences from individual, big ego, no respect to others and forgivenes.<br/>return or not return customers, its not your call. do you really believe there will be not enough people in the community will recognise and support you guys? if thats the case, you are in the wrong spot.<br/>to me and my friends, we think you are doing a great job, in a risky location, but you are making it works. great job, and thank you for offering us a great lunch venue in this area.<br/>i bet no one has thank you for what you have done on urbanspoon. but complement how great or how bad is your products. as a chef, do you really need someone, may be someone who has never worked in the hospitality industry, to tell you whether you have done a good job or not on your food?........ i really wondering what is going tru people mind. <br/>...... exhaust fan and air ventiltion in the shop need to look into it a bit more.

That's a Spicy Burger!!!!. I love food with a kick. I'd been to 127 days and enjoyed the mushroom melt so time to try something new. I had the 127 ways to die burger & woweee did it pack a punch. The patty was well cooked and there was a heap of fresh chilli and jalapeƱos layered in the bun with the oozy melting cheese. My lips were left tingling but the heat was too much for my partner when he had a taste. But I love chilli so I found the different intensities of the fillings to be fantastic. He had the croydon cheese steak roll. It was huge and delicious too. He was impressed with his 1st visit. Just a pity is far from our home turf or we'd be here more regularly. Thanks 127 days for a super spicy saturday lunch.

Great new addition to the west. Our family loved the burgers, chips and arancini balls. As the other reviews have stated, the burgers were filled with fresh produce, delicious and well presented. I would say they're better than Burger Theory's burgers in town. As a vego I really appreciated having some alternative options. We have had three take aways in one week from 127, that is how good they are. Please stay around for a long time...we need more places like you.
Georgia Parasiers
Was keen to try here and just wasn't very impressed. Waited thirty minutes for a burger that was flavorless and had a meat pattie that was still running around the farm (lingo for just not cooked enough). There was no flavor present in the bun, the pattie and the potato gems were cold. It was also luke warm, not what you would expect when the kitchen is no less than 2 metres away. Will be going to the city in the future.
Sarah
Disappointed. Was looking forward to heading to the place after hearing all the hype, my partner and I got there just before 8pm to be told there were no buns left!!! :(

Cheese Burger and Wings. Beautiful burger, juicy, flavoursome, fresh. very nice.
The Drinks Master
Really tasty and really good value. Excellent huge burgers with really tasty ingredients. Chips, tater tots and "hashtags" are fantastic, and you can get a burger + chips + drink for $16 or less... win win win. For the exotic drinker - Cherry Coke and Root Beer! Go there.

Had dinner here Saturday night was quite busy the service was really great and considering how busy it was our burgers came out fast.we all had different burgers and all got good reviews I had the mushroom melt which was delicious and will come back for it. #tag chips were also very good. Great location big thumbs up all round

Great burgers. Really friendly service, chick was really detailed about explaining ingredients. Burgers were huge, just how I like it. One of my top burger places in Adelaide, thumbs up.

A welcome to the neighbourhood. Good burgers with well cooked patties and a nice "crispy on the outside-soft on the inside" buns. Too bad about the slow service though. It looked like the kitchen was unable to cope with the large number of diners. Hopefully that's just a teething issue. Also there weren't enough seats and everyone was sort of standing around the tables. But seeing that I live around the corner I will definitely be frequenting this place, most likely to take away next time. It;s certainly a change from the usual Asian/Viet. And goodbye Maccas and Hungry Jacks!
HF
Tasty. We had the Squealed with a Kiss and the Mushroom Melt. Both were tasty and full of flavour. Great serving sizes. The only let down was the buns, they were too soft and somewhat doughy. The hash-tag chips were delicious, salty, crispy and soft. We will definitely be going back to try the other burgers, but hopefully they use a different bun in future, as was a let down.

Wow! Super awesome every time. We live around the corner and often go on Saturdays. The staff are all very friendly and the ambiance is hip and welcoming. I've tried four different burgers now and each had been delicious. The accompaniments such as tots and hashtags are yum and there are some great snacks including spicy chicken wings and salt and pepper calimari. The shakes are also good- the timtam is my favourite. Always delicious and a great experience!

Good quality and value for money food. Fresh and well seasoned throughout all dishes. The salt and pepper calamari and fried chicken are a winner. Tasty and filling burgers. The pickles are so tasty. Friendly service
Stone And Loaf
I tried 127 Days for the first time today. I went there for lunch And had a burger, the Bad Mutha Trucker I think it was called, a caramel milkshake and shared some Cajun cheesy fries. First the positives. The burger patty was very good. Perfectly cooked, tasty and juicy. The bacon in the burger was also great quality and cooked well. The sauces on the burger tasted great and the bun was pretty good. The egg in it was overcooked for me, but I like a runny yolk. There was too much lettuce in the burger. Overall though, the burger was great. But the Cajun cheesy fries were very ordinary. It seemed like the Cajun seasoning had just been chucked on top of the fries after they were in the dish. Not a fan of the fries, but that's ok, coz if I wasn't there with friends I wouldn't order fries anyway. The milkshake was ok but nothing special for the price. The cup it was served in was only about 2/3 full, which never looks good, and all the ice cream was down the bottom. I was tempted to vote that I didn't like 127 Days but decided to like it because the burger was good and their service was extremely friendly. I hope they succeed and if I'm going past in the future I might call in and try one of their other burgers. Give 127 Days ago if you like burgers.

Had the breakfast burger today. Bacon, egg, mushroom, cheese. Rocket and pomme noisettes on the side<br/>Really good.<br/>Didn't need to eat again till 7pm.

These guys serve the best food in adelaide if not australia..... and they do it with a smile and a great attitude, i reccomend everyone to give them a shot

Warm and Delicious.. Wow. There are burgers and then there are these burgers. And these burgers are pretty damn delicious. There is a lovely ambience about the place too. Sitting down to enjoy was as pleasant an experience as the eating of the burger. And in case you missed it, these burgers are GOOD! No. Not good. GREAT! I can't wait to go back and try some more.<br/><br/>The staff are very friendly, and the greeting you get is warm and inviting. Definitely a place to go if you are looking for a delicious meal that leaves you feeling happy and satisfied, inside and out.

Glad to have real, tasty, fresh burgers on this side of the Adelaide. Staff were very friendly and cool little quirks about the place. Interesting choice with tots and hashtags in addition to good old chips. Wife had veggo burger and loved the plump, scrumptious mushrooms and with the tallegio a very pleasant surprise.

A very small but very popular burger joint almost in the middle of nowhere ā€“ that is what 127 Days is. How busy it was when we were there is a true indication of how good this burger place is. The menu at 127 Days will provide something for everyoneā€™s taste buds, we would highly recommend this place as a burger joint to visit. The Mushroom Melt ā€“ Angus beef, roasted mushrooms, caramelised onion, bacon, jack cheese, rocket and truffle aioli. Bad Mother Trucker ā€“ Angus beef, bacon, egg, cheese, caramelised onion, tomato, beetroot relish, lettuce, BBQ sauce and chipotle aioli with hashtags. When I heard 127 Days were out in the middle of the western surburbs, I was thinking burgers from a fish and chip shop. 127 Days actually have a decent selection of gourmet burgers and snacks that will tickle the taste buds.

It sure has been a while since weā€™ve been to a burger jointā€¦ or at least thatā€™s what the blog tells me! We finally made our way to the popular suburban burger joint at 127 Days which is reflective of their location on 127 Days Road in the western suburbs of Croydon Park (around the corner from Viet Nam Asian Snack Bar ). Iā€™ve been warned that the burgers here were massive but we couldnā€™t fight our roaring and hungry bellies and ended up over ordering. >. Condiments and seasoning shelf They sure had an impressive menu of burgers on offer as well as an ā€˜eatsā€™ menu with some drool worthy sides like a variety of chips, cajun cheese fries, cheese arancini, spicy chicken wings and even salt and pepper squid! There are two burger combos on offer, the standard combo for $14 which consists of a $9/$10 burger with chips and a drink or the deluxe combo at $16 for a $13 burger, chips and a drink. I was happy to forgo the combo and was content with just the burger, however that was not to be as the stranger wanted to try both style of chips ā€“ tater tots and hash tags, and so we ended up having two burger combos to shareā€¦ haha. Old fashioned and tater tots (standard combo) I stuck with something simple, the old fashioned burger ($9.00) with Angus beef, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sauce and mayo, which came accompanied with golden nuggets of crispy tater tots. The Angus beef patty was thick, juicy and meaty, however I did find it a bit too thick and meaty which dominated the burger overall and had the other ingredients brushed to the side lines. Or maybe I just needed a bit more sauce to go with each meaty bite? Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll be returning here one day so Iā€™ll have another taste then. The Italian Job with #tags (standard combo) As for the stranger, he was happy for me to pick the other burger as I was also eyeing The Italian Job from the menu. The combination of Angus beef, rocket, provolone, chilli, roasted capsicum and aioli defintely had my interestā€¦ and boy, was it delicious or wh
