Still love this place for a drink. The staff are always really friendly and always on hand to recommend something a bit different for you to try. Great fun standing at the bar but also have a great upstairs area, booths and outdoor area. Good snacks to go with your drinks. The toasties are great.

Such a cosy place for catch up drinks with friends or colleagues. What makes it even better is you can order food from Press or Melt here too! There is a massive selection of wine by the bottle and their cocktails although not many are delicious. Service can be a bit abrupt when busy but otherwise great place

Great place for a drink the staff are wonderful and the upstairs courtyard area is gorgeous, especially at night. The mushroom and truffle Jaffa keeps me coming back again and again.

It's freezing cold today. I was wandering the frozen barren landscape of Adelaide for lunch but alas it was past 3pm and the usual lunch spots had shut down. Enter Proof and their small yet perfect selection of toasted sandwiches. Cured pork with a mixture of the tastiest cheese I've met on my journey so far on this planet.

I'm not sure what the disease was, but this is the cure.

Add in the fantastic lane way, small bar feel of Proof and the great atmosphere and it equals perfection.

And yes, this is the best toastie I've ever had!

Cute little bar located in the city. Great staff who are extremely attentive and happy to help with suggestions should you need. The cocktails are delicious. The outdoor area upstairs is also perfect for those balmy nights. Perfect for after work drinks or a catch up with friends.

Love Proof, second visit last night. Staff are terrific. Wines by glass not extensive but balanced and really interesting. Staff great, love that they let you try wine when not sure!

We held a small Christmas function upstairs at Proof one night last week and it was brilliant. We were incredibly well looked after by the staff and the food was delicious (particular mention goes to the mushroom pithiviers and the toasties, which hit the spot perfectly!). The venue is classy yet not pretentious, and the outside area is perfect on a warm summer evening.

We have had nothing but positive feedback from our clients who all thoroughly enjoyed themselves, as we did.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Proof as a venue and look forward to coming back.

Cute little wine bar with a great rooftop area. The wine menu is a bit disappointing, though... There are only about 5 or 6 reds by the glass and there aren't any heavier varieties, which is not really acceptable for a wine bar. Very small snack food menu. Amazing cocktail list.

Fabulous bar tucked away in a small lane way, worth a visit.
Great service, terrific atmosphere. A good stop for pre dinner drinks!

Such an amazing wine bar with the most perfect collection. We came here for date night and were floored by the presentation. Amazing choices, great atmosphere and a sophisticated environment - a must visit

I had the most amazing night laughing and getting served good drinks. Ciara and Ella were in the team behind the revolutionary experience of learning about digestives at the end of a night of eating. Forever grateful for the experience and highly recommend this bar.

I really like this place. It's an 'out of the way', friendly little place with a nice drinks selection and upmarket style of food. It feels worn, but that adds to the "another era" charm.

Unbelievable experience. Amazing selection of spirits, wines etc. Honestly, the atmosphere was beyond what we expected. And the staff… WOW!!!! Ella and Ciara were incredibly kind and introduced us to some tastes we had never heard of before: Amaro, Negroni and Sweet VAMOOTH. Thank you team. It was a great experience.

Cosy little two storey joint with a bijou outdoor area is a fantastic city cocktail, beer and wine joint. I visited on a Friday arvo and the place was very busy at 5pm. Would definitely recommend this place for a quick bevvy or an afternoon sesh to head into the wee hours.
