Italian Restaurant with really good traditional Italian pizza. Real thin traditional crust-just the way it's done in Italy with range of flavours. Portion sizes of pasta is really small-I wouldn't get pasta again. Great service and dinner was fantastic. Recommend this place.
Absolutely amazing Napoli style pizza using all the proper ingredients. Pizza is beautiful and highly recommend the arancini also. Staff are great too. Will definitely be back!
Visited on our trip to Adelaide from Melbourne after experiencing A LOT of disappointing pizza on our holiday so far. Was so impressed with the pizza Etica and only disappointed that we didn’t find it sooner, we would have come here to eat every night. Food was exceptional and service was absolutely amazing. Will be back for sure.
I've spent a lot of time in Naples and eaten a hell of a lot of authentic pizza. Etica is the place to go if you want something similar. I stumbled upon this place one night and we were welcomed in, drenched from the rain.
We were offered a place viewing the kitchen and were poured some great wine. If Dominos is what you consider pizza, you'll be in for a shock. But, for everyone else, the experience will be great.
Busy little place tucked away in a quiet street. Because they don't take reservations we had to wait for a table when we rocked up- although this is a good sign of awesome food. Ended up getting take away pizza which was delicious, but will be back!
Food; I like the concept of this pizza bar, pizza by the slice (or more like weight) and cooked up within 5 mins from order. I've had about 3 visits over about 6 mths, this time with a margarita pizza. The ingredients are fresh and I like the dough. Though to be picky my personal preference is for thinner bases.
Ambience; it's pretty chic inside, having been designed by architects. Jazz music is tuned up, it's like a bar. I like the playlist, with a bit of GoGo Penguin.
Service; very consistent, all 3 visits very fast, friendly, welcoming. The strong passion they have for their business really comes across.
There are many pizza joints but none like this . It's very unique, it's a winner.
Amazing ambience and the best tasting authentic pizza i’ve had since.... forever. The pizza base sauce tasted exactly like nonnas🙌 Definitely will be coming back to try the risotto.
I could not fault Etica at all. The food, the service and the ethos are 11/10. Local friends took my partner and I there while visiting from Melbourne a few months ago. Those friends return again and again and I will too. This restaurant and experience is world-class, in sleepy Adelaide (sleepy if you're not looking in the right places). The grief this restaurant is currently receiving for attempting to evoke discourse and engage the community in a conversation that needs to be had has spurred me to finally write this review.
This restaurant cares about serving you amazing local thoughtful and thought-through food and you can taste just how much this means to those who work there. Slow food, the kind served at Etica is good for you and good for the world. Thank you Etica
My Adelaide pizza crawl has lead me to this little pizza bar down Gilles street. My favourite thing; the name! Etica, in Italian, means "ethical"! All produce used here is from ethical and sustainable sources. 👍
I sat down at my table and smells of fresh dough and soft cheese melting in the wood fired oven entered my nose! I was excited.
Pizza at Etica is traditional and tasty. Your mouth will find itself chewing through soft and mouth watering dough and simple but delicious toppings including three cheese, Margherita and porchetta. What more can i say but this place is simple and effective!

Amazing pizza - best ever - small menu but made with attention to detail - the pizza base was just so delicious😊 drinks were expensive though.

One of my favorite spots to visit for a pizza/pasta meal in Adelaide. I’ve never left disappointed no matter what I’ve ordered.
The little wine list is outstanding, the setting is dark and moody but most of all the service and hospitality is incredible. You get the feeling you are having dinner at someone’s house which is exactly what you want at an Italian restaurant.
Such a cute pizza restaurant, definitely book ahead. Pizza chef was amazing to watch and created delicious pizza. They also serve pasta dishes and starters but I only saw pizza! Priced for freshness and taste. Plenty of parking and bathrooms avaliable. It is a little hard to find so keep an eye out for the sign. Enjoy good pizza
We had a pleasant evening at Etica, with a prime position to watch the pizza maker work his magic! Friendly service and delicious food, an overall very nice time at Etica
Warning: BRING YOUR APPETITE! So full 🥴 Food is super tasty and authentic. Favourite dish has to be the pizza or the housemade beetroot pasta with pork sausage 😍❤ A great mix of flavours washed down with a nice cold Italian brew and the company of my lovely special lady.
