Review Fellini - Adelaide

Gastronome
Had a family dinner on Friday night few weeks ago. We were seated next to the kitchen and kids enjoyed making of pizzas. As it was Friday night they were duper busy but they nailed customer service. Manager looked after us very well. Kitchen was busy but they managed to get a garlic bread pizza and kids pizza first so that we can start our dinner. After few minutes we got served our mains. We have ordered kids pasta, kids meat lovers pizza, garlic bread pizza, pizza speciale and risotto. All dishes were great. Also tried orange cake for dessert and loved it. A big thanks to the all staff who looked after us very well with great customer service.

As part of History Festival, visited the art deco display organised by the Council. Went with my mum and enjoyed the display. Visited Fellini for coffee and cake. We both enjoyed the coffee and shared the cakes. Reasonable flavour, and value for money

We hadn’t been here for some time so decided to pop in after a late night art event. Staff were helpful and accommodating, receiving our group without a reservation. We were seated upstairs where it was nice roomy but cold compared to downstairs dining areas. Our table service wasn’t great, got our orders wrong and mixed up our cocktails & wines. However when we received our meals, it made up for the mix ups. The wood oven pizzas are definitely still so good, salmon was cooked to perfection and received a complimentary cocktail. Rest rooms need a little TLC during a busy night.

Food was great! ) A+ Service was lack luster though! ( That could of up sold dessert or coffee's! x1 toilet in the women's cubicle had no toilet paper & both of the men's & women's toilets had their bins full.

Went here on a busy Saturday night. Food was great, it was hard to get service due to how busy they were (took us at least an hour to be able to order food). Lovely restaurant, would maybe benefit from a "come order at the counter" approach on busy days

Attended with a large group (who had booked in advance). Staff completely overwhelmed & unprepared. Insisted on taking our orders with pen & paper, to then input into system later. We were told we could not go to bar to order drinks, had to wait until our order had been "written down". The experience was completely void of any customer service, food was average & not worth the very long wait. Would have ordered more drinks if we had been allowed. Won't be back to a place previously highly thought.

A dine-in restaraunt with a large range of enticing, heart-warming pizzas. The use of wood ovens gave not only a sense of warmth, but a smoky, homemade essence. Service isn't too long, the staff are friendly, and is certainly worth going there for special occasions.

We went to Cafe Fellinis last night for our sons 15th birthday! We had beautiful wood oven pizzas , then we ordered a Oreo dessert pizza and OMG it was the best thing every ever. It's new to their menu so the owner made it as they have never made it before. All we can say is WOW!!!! All the staff and owner we so professional in everything they did! We have been going to Fellini's for many years but last night was amazing!! Thankyou !!

Went for breakfast at Felllini, large family group (22), prebooked a week ago, informed them there would be a vegan and several vegetarians. All meals took a very long time - one was an hour and a half even though there was only a handful of other people here. My “vegan” meal had panacotta in it, I only found out because I questioned why the smashed beetroot was so pale. - I double checked when I ordered and specified vegan, no dairy, meat or eggs. My second meal came out with 2 servings of butter. My Mums meal was returned twice, and several others were also wrong. 3 kids ordered pancakes, 2 got theres, the 3rd one only came out after we cancelled it because it was taking too long - the other kids had finished theirs. Mine and my mums coffee never came despite asking 3 times yet plenty of walk-ins got theirs. The worst service ever - we all ordered at 9.30 and over half the meals had to be returned because they were wrong. It wasn’t even busy as apart from our table there was probably only another 3 smaller groups (that all arrived well after us - they all managed to eat and leave before we got our final meal.

We ordered pizza, garlic bread and arancini, the food was delicious, staff friendly even though the place was hectic (Adele concert crowd) if I had to fault anything it would be the acoustics of the place......very loud. Overall it was great, we will be back.

Last Friday night I took my wife for dinner to celebrate her birthday with family and friends. There were a few mistakes with the service. My wife ordered Spaghetti Marinara without chilli and I ordered calazone with the lot no onions. When my wife got her food there was chilli in it and my calazone had onion. The chef did another spaghetti marinara but there were two mussels closed and no meat in the cockles. My wife also asked the (young) waitress for a napkin because there was none on her side plate. Waiting for awhile the young waitress didn't bring her a napkin, so she had to ask another waitress. The garlic pizza bread was very tasty. This is the second time we have dined here. The first time was great. This time it was a little disappointing. Steve & Kathryn

Won the valentines competition and received free dinner. The food was some of the best I've had in a very long time, came out promptly even though it was very busy, staff went above and beyond and were absolutely lovely. Have come a few times and every time have left very happy. Would definitely recommend.

Our new favourite place to go, service is spot on, food is so yummy, my hubby's choice for his birthday last night, with the weather becoming cooler we entered this cosy warm restaurant, our family were very happy with everything, our grown up kids and partners had gelati for dessert and hubby and I took a sneaky tiramisu home to have with coffee. Very happy customers highly recommend.

Went hear tonight for my 24th birthday dinner and the food was incredible, so was the service, we had people cancel so it we were a smaller group than booked and the staff were completely understanding and kindly asked us to move down, so they could divide the table, and helped us. I would completely recommend, and look forward to eating here again.

Went there for a function on friday night. The entrees were ok and the bar service started off well. When the mains finally arrived they were very disappointing. I had the Seafood marinara, 3 overcooked prawns 1 mussel although I had 4 shells and lots (about 5) of cockle shells (including one that was closed which should never make the plate) but very little else. No sign of any crab and it arrived cold. Fasta pasta do it better at half the price. My husband who was on the same table had his arrive after I had finished mine. The lamb was raw (not rare but blue) and the beef and chicken were cooked beyond all recognition. We could not get a drink after this as the bar staff were just not there yet the company had paid for a drinks package. My recommendation is don't have a function there as they don't have the staff or ability to cater for it.

Apparently I really looked underfed, so the chef went to town, bought up big, brought it back and cooked up a pizza, but I could only manage a half of it. It tasted great, so much so that if the chef ever wants to run away with me, that'll be fine!

Haven't been there since I learned I was gluten intolerant. Second best gluten free pizza in SA

Went for lunch with hubby..hardly anyone there..ordered our food after waiting about half hr we thought maybe they had forgotten our two main meals asked the waitress where our food was..she informed us that it was taken to the wrong table..so we had to wait another 15 minutes..very disappointed and then with hardly any apology paid our meals at a cost of over $70 i thought well after all the stuff up maybe a free garlic bread or something..absouletly disappointing as i love the food here..my hubby had never been here so i was talking up how great the place was..his totally put off now.
