It's not just a supermarket; Pasadena is a whole experience, and for that, it's owed 5 stars. I love just walking around and experiencing the unique sections. Picked up so many yummy baked goods too.
Love it here! Had mothers day lunch with family and friends. We were lucky to get a table as we didn't book. Ordered lunch from the Oriental Bar, it was delicious! Also so much other food to choose from. It's a bit of a drive from home but always worth it!
Pasadena Foodland has a sign that says "The Planet's Best Supermarket" or something like that.
It is truly wonderful! Lots of high quality fresh food to complement all the usual non-perishable supermarket stock.
Their meat and seafood departments are top class, and the cheese monger is equally impressive.
They even have a variety of in-store dining - took my wife to the cheese & wine counter for her birthday, and the staff and the experience were fabulous.
Today we scored some outstanding discounted food, including Yabbies, my wife's favourite.
When we visit from the country we try to visit, and I'd recommend to anyone.
Do not under any circumstance shop here hungry. Probably Australia's best supermarket. Everything is fresh and presentation is beautiful. Want to go out for dinner at a super market? They do that. Want a glass of bubbles and oysters? They do that. This place is truly an experience. I give it 5 stars. My only complaint is checkout times when it is busy. However this place is so wild and amazing that that does not even detract.
Haven't been there for a while, but went today on my wife's insistence. Wow! Huge range of just about everything you can think of for a supermarket. Good fresh fruit and veg section, freshly baked breads etc, meat and seafood. There's even a selection of places to sit and have a coffee or something to eat within the shop itself. Very impressive.
This place is self proclaimed the best supermarket in the world and I’m not sure they are wrong. Fantastic produce local and abroad. There’s a gin bar in back… and a oyster bar… and a dessert bar. This place is possibly the best spot for food in Adelaide maybe the country. Have a few drinks and some oysters the go shopping and then dessert. So many possibilities. Everyone was super friendly and helpful- shout out to Adrian at the register who was very entertaining.

It is so great to see such a place in the suburbs, even if it is so well known.
The artesian fashioning of it is great.
Watching the cakes being made through to fruit and veg being prepared and the butchery and bakery doing their bits as well.
First time visitor the other day, and I was blown away. It's the sort of SUPERmarket that you don't mind taking your time in. Actually more of a market kind of experience with specialty areas included. The fresh and market produce area was vast and appealing, with loads of bulk products you could scoop and weigh. It's the kind of store where you become inspired to cook more meals at home!
There's also plenty of parking underneath the building, a lift and other specialty shops nearby. An absolute winner
