I love the Excelsior Hotel. It has excellent facillitys like a good Hotel should. Like an ATM, an efpos machine, Gaming Room, 2 bars with beers on tap and 1 of them in a pub and one of them in a resturant. The staff are always friendly. There food is always tasty and there is always a variety of drinks to choose from.

True rating a 3 but they get an extra star for the amazing lady who served us and the fact that it's a little bit old school. The waited wasnSo bubbly and friendly like a true local pub should be, felt like I was at a local pub in the mid north. Food is good and standard pub fare . Prices are great if U get the parmy on special and the $5 pint run off beer specials. All in all it is what it is and at least it's not trying too hard. Price value and service plus proximity to home makes this a great local pub. So if U live in the area give it a go.

Good variety of food (especially considering the ever changing specials!) and all very delicious. Staff are friendly and I haven't had a bad meal yet! One of the best pubs I've gone to!

The Excelsior Hotel changed hands in November 2014 and is now a friendly, family run Hotel.
There is a new menu and website with all the information you require.
Live bands feature on Friday nights.

The Excelsior was recommended to us by a workmate who lives locally. Such a lovely place for a nice and relaxing pub meal. We were promptly greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. We didn't have to wait long at all for our meals. Our entree was delicious (Trio of dips). Both meals were yummy and very enjoyable to eat. Good value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pub to friends and family.

Beautiful steaks, fab burgers, beef ribs are melt in the mouth delicious, but my man would love the mixed grill steak topping back.

I believe The Excelsior has the potential to become the new place to listen to live music. When dancing is allowed they will need to be able to cater for that or it wont take off. I had a beautiful pizza for lunch and friends had a variety of other dishes they enjoyed. Bar staff were efficient and friendly. $3.80 for a Chai Latte, cant go wrong. Enjoyable afternoon

Dropped in for lunch today with the girls. We were made very welcome in the beer garden with cold water and ice for the girls. Meals were very good and well priced, staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back again.
