Review The Woolshed On Hindley - Adelaide

Had the time of my life dancing with my brother and then bouncers came and made an excuse that I was doing appropriate behaviour when I was just dancing all night. Bouncers didn't even give me their explanation or names. Just another way to ruin my almost perfect night with my mates.

The woolshed has become like every other club on hindley with all areas playing the exact same music. It's been a while since I've hit the town but its absolutely devastating that such a huge venue is not using its spaces better. It was always such a good place with an awesome variety of people.

I was minding my own business and I get pushed to one side by a black haired in a red dress and her friends so they can walk past. The experience had ruined my night out. This was some years ago I haven't been there since

I have worked in the wool sheds for the past 6 years came here and they told me can’t come in because my hair cut a bit of a joke as the security guards clearly where not legal as they pushed me because questioning why???? As working in the wool shed the mullet is the number 1 hair cut think they should change there name as they are clearly wrong!!!!!!

Charisma and Janecia handed out really good skittle bombs, they were really cool and had great customer service skills. Hopefully they live great and successful lives!!

Was thrown out by seccy at Woolshed a few weeks back. Seccy asked me to leave, then he slapped the drink out of my mouth and another guard also grabbed me and threw me out. Manager Jace or whatever, didn't care one bit and wouldn't even take the time to talk to one of his clients/customers. If I could give 0 stars I would!

The bouncer number 15 working on the door was an angry heavy-handed thug who likes to throw women to the ground. There is NO EXCUSE for a man to put his hand on any woman.

Downstairs dance floor smells like someone had diarrhoea last week and it’s stuck in the air vents. Maybe aircon needs a service???

Awful service, even on quiet night. Saw multiple personnel removed and lots of people unhappy with wait times. Hope that service improves otherwise will not return to bar.

Disgusting service - poor performance when it comes to food AND drink needs, Much better options just down the road. The simple beverage and snack may have been a staple for this location back in the day, but no longer is it acceptable.

I do not recommend this night Club. The staff is cheating on the drink prices, not smiling, everyone is sad and the security staff are very aggressive. I bought 1 drink for $10 and I saw $18 on the POS terminal, so I asked for the recipe and she just said " sorry too late I can't print it". This night club just want to make money but they don't really care about the customer.

I found the staff super nice & friendly. I ended up eating here twice after I wandered around on Sunday night and could only find some fast food joints open. My meals were far better than most pubs serve.

Meh, average pub.. my partner and I had been walking around and thought we would stop for a beer. Great beer selection but no atmosphere what so ever, perhaps we were there at a quiet time. The whole street was just quiet and we struggled to find somewhere to stop for a drink (it was a fri arvo) We had one beer and moved on, oh and my beer had little head on it. Where's the froth?! Lol

Standard pub food and service. Good place to wind down with a group of friends for a quick food and drink. Price is affordable considering it's quality - may come again if limited on choices.

Pleasantly surprised with what we got. Venue was clean and played good music. Country/Industrial look inside and comfy seats. We sat in the front bar but the dinning room looked really nice also. Will be back for more :)

Great Place!. Great friendly place to eat. Good priced food and they have a $15 steak and pint deal which was amazing and so was the price. The place doesnt look the greatest but the staff were friendly and helpful.

Walked in on a busy Friday night and was helped out with getting a table, great service and GREAT food. Would totally recommend to all

Hearty Pub Food. My boyfriend and I got the Beef Burger and Salt and Pepper Squid. Both dishes were served with ample chips and very reasonably priced at $15 each. Overall the food was very good - well served pub meal for a great price.

All meals $20 including drink in the front bar. Small choice but great schnitzels and decent size feed. You won't be disappointed.

Hight of rudesum, we guys wr drinking from 1.30 pm till 10.30 pm and spent over $1000 in total but as soon as the lunch or morning girl signed off from shift the next staff started behaving like we are not suppose to be served and started behaving rude. They refused to order hot wedges for no reason but when we had the chat with the new chef who was brilliant though and was making food for us since afternoon, loved his barramundi, we got the wedges so the bar staff got pissed off and started acting weird. Since morning we wr paying by card and suddenly they told us cash only and we have to use their ATM machine which charged us $2.50 for each transaction. I know there would be some problem in our judgement as well as we guys use to come to woodshed throughout the year and it is our hanging joint after uni and on weekends and their service is very friendly and warm but the way they behaved yesterday was surprised and that's why I'm putting this feedback on behalf of my friends so that people will get to know that they are running because of customers And customers value the atmosphere of woodshed and their services. Some of the bar mate are like friends and they don't need any recognition from our side, they are just brilliant. This MSG goes to those people who think they are doing some favour while give us drinks, I hope u all gonna be brilliant and friendly with every Customer and keep up the good spirit of woodshed.. Just dined here...<br/>YUMMO!!<br/>I had the scotch fillet $24<br/>Cooked exactly how I asked and the accompanying sauce was beautiful<br/>My daughter had the apricot chicken, also cooked beautifully and very moist, and my niece had the chicken burger with chips, very well presented and also oh so juicy<br/>All up a fantastic meal and great atmosphere<br/>Will definitely recommend to couples, families and friend groups!!

Best pub meal in town. If you're after a big hearty lunch, and nice beer battered fries this is the place to go. Their club sandwich costs less than $10 and they do a great schnitzel. The aoli that they put on their club sandwich is amazing. I love my food, and they do great pub meals here that cost around $10. The serving sizes are huge, and the food is soooooooooooooo tasty! They get busy at lunch, so if you want to get a meal the earlier the better!

Went to the woolshed yesterday for lunch with a few friends for work. This is your typical pub with a definite party atmosphere. I think we were the only ones eating and i can see why now. Whilst the dishes were very generous in size and light on the budget, everything was heavily deep fried. I ordered the wedges with sour cream whilst others ordered hamburgers, schnitzel or salad. Perhaps this would be a place to go if you were recovering from a hang over but not a place for a nice lunch. Probably wont be back unless it was for drinks

First impressions of the place weren’t that great. The tables and chairs in the outside dining area were covered in alcohol residue, and the inside of the place was dark and dingy.
