Warm & friendly vibes. Humble family owned & operated cafe. Lovely people, great with kids. Quality food & drinks and good value for money. There's so much to be said for service with a smile and these days it's hard to come by. A spot where you can feel welcome and relaxed. I left feeling happy! 😊

Eggsellent choice. We were staying at the Chiffley on South Terrace for afew days and rather than do the very boring (but well priced $10 per head) continental breakfast in the hotel we took a walk of a few hundred metres into Pulteney Street and came instantly across Scootz. The $9.95 breakfast deal is the bomb! Eggs any way with lashings of bacon and two slices of toast (your choice of bread) plus coffee or tea. We went every morning and the food is fresh and well cooked, the coffee is really very good indeed. The staff are super friendly and helpful, great little place. Highly recommend.

We were undecided between this cafe and a pub across the road, the owner came out and told us about the specials. We decided to go with Scootz Cafe because of there huge range of food and drinks. They were so welcoming. Suggesting a table bigger for us so we weren’t squished up. The food was affordable and they had pictures all around of what the foods look like. We paid and waited 5-10 minutes then our food came out fresh and looking amazing on wooden boards instead of plates and they had a beautiful layout making the food pop and look pleasant. The food was fresh and the family is pleased with the service. 100% recommended
