Review Burger Addiction - Adelaide

The burgers here are absolutely delicious here. The chicken pieces are juicy, crispy and well seasoned 😋😋😋. The chicken paired with the spicy mayo dipping sauce is yummmm.

Wow I came here several years ago and thought the burgers were amazing and the chips were absolutely awesome so I decided to come and try again as I was in the area. Well obviously a big change and maybe a change of ownership because the food was very poor. I ordered the hot 1 and asked for extra hot and chips on the side. Well the burger was cold and on a spicy scale of 1-10 I think it was barely a 2 and the chips were disgusting. Service wasn’t much better so NEVER again.

Love the burgers and was our go to place when we used to live in the city. We still do visit the shop once in a while and love it <3

Well the staff were great. Nice and friendly and polite. Unfortunately that is were it stopped. We ordered the trucker burger, double cheese and onion rings. The meat was flavorless (no seasoning) and there was barley any sauce. The bacon seemed to be cheap. The one thing that makes a burger is the meat. 80% chuck steak and 20% Fat as a standard. The fat was all grisle. Check out the pictures. So for me this place is a miss. For the price of the burgers there are better places around.

Paid $20 per each burger, got 4 of them, ordered simply with NO mayonnaise, & ketchup instead... They said that'd be fine, (certainly,) then they ended up putting no ketchup & 2 types of extra heavy mayonnaise, as if they were playing some kind of pathetic joke or something... Undoubtedly, ever since the original owner & founders sold it to the Indians currently gesturing it now, it has been in a steady-state of decline...

Ordered Smoking Bird burger and my mistake didn’t realised it had Bacon and I don’t eat Bacon. Went to counter and peeps over here were so friendly they made me new burger with no question asked and that too with smile. Burger and chips were absolutely delicious.

Very cool. Staff very friendly, fun to chat with. Food is great. I don’t normally like sweet potato fries but these are really nice. Burgers are great, good quality meat. Trendy music and good location. Only reason for 4 stars is that it is a little small, and I hope they can expand to a bigger location to fit more in.

One of my favourite burgers in Adelaide - fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The sweet potato fries are also awesome! Generally quick service with friendly staff and a good menu choice. The jalapeño poppers are also very tasty and not soggy like they can sometimes be. The fried chicken is also good, however not the reason you want to visit this place. You can't go wrong with a burger and sweet potato fries from here!

Amazing taste and reasonably priced
If you want a good big bite and burger is what you crave, do visit this place. they prepare really fresh and tasty burgers that can make anyone go wow. I have had a veg surprise, thats what I have usually, and truthfully I enjoyed every single bite. Must have.

There is a much better burger place called Nor burger.

Burger addiction are slightly better than MacDonald and thats about it. Burger is not that great, you don’t get anything for 20 bucks. Chips are left overs, that are 3cm long. Na......I rather go to MacDonald.

While Burger Addictions’s burgers are satisfactory, their policy for charging a DOLLAR for mustard and fifty cents for ketchup is unreasonable. It’s common for people who order burgers and fries to ask for basic condiments, and given the price of their burgers, it shouldn’t be that big a deal. I personally won’t be dining there again.

I ordered the classic chicken burger, there was too much cheese as it overpowered the experience and mostly fell out in melted clumps. The bun was nice though. Unfortunately the chips were not enough to improve my rating, but I did enjoy the chipotle aioli. Sadly, I probably wouldn’t return to try another.

I ordered the beef burger with blue cheese/walnuts. This was a combo I have not had before and it was delicious! Would recommend if you are looking to try something new. Also at the moment they have $2 chips you can add a few different flavours too.

Totally amazing food. I visit with a friend frequently. The burgers have the most amazing tastes and the food is always good value. I after each visit I am always so full... and im a big eater. In fact, the meals could even be sized down 15% and still be plenty big enough.

Disappointed. Stopped to check out the menu as I hadn't seen them before, noticed they offered a gluten free bun! Awesome! Always looking for new burger joints that do gluten free options. Wow was I disappointed. There was a weird taste on the bun, I think they buttered the bun with a lot of melted butter before adding the pattie and salad. I ordered the basics, but the meat patty was bland, the mayo okay but also lacking taste. The main thing that ruined it was the butter or whatever they spread all over the inside of the bun, made it taste weird and go soggy. Big thumbs down from me. I'll just keep searching for the perfect take away gluten free burger.

Great service, great price chips where nice buns need to be toasted. Overall good burger joint

Tried Burger Addiction for the first time today for lunch. Worst burger meal I've ever had. The chips were burnt, soggy and over salted. The burger was pretty tasteless - even the whiskey BBQ sauce wasn't full of flavour. The pulled pork was cold, bland and in large chunks, not properly 'pulled'. $17 for a crappy burger, worse fries and a can of drink? Terrible. The friends I was with were all equally disappoited. What other reviewers have said about the menu is true too - loads of 'variations' but each burger only seems to have one slightly different ingredient to the others. I won't be going back.

Never again. My colleague and I had this for lunch today. The writing on the menu above the counter is too small to read. I ordered a Rhapsody in Blue. There was hardly any blue cheese or aioli on it. Much to my surprise (and I totally admit this is my fault for not being able to read the menu) there were pecans on the burger. Absolutely horrible! The fries were also so salty we could not finish them. And that is saying something since we are chip fanatics. For $16 we should have walked the extra km to Fancy Burger or Burger Theory. NEVER EVER AGAIN! I should have listened to my partner who warned against it after he had uncooked chicken in his burger.

Impressed!. Wow, some people are hard to please. This burger place impressed me. I had the falafel burger as a meal deal and did not go hungry! The wait at lunch was under 10 minutes. The burger was quite big (bigger than Fancy Burger off Rundle St) and the side serve of fries is enough to share with some else. The fries are hand cut, with skins on and dressed with salt and rosemary . The patty was hand made and all other ingredients were fresh. Thanks Burger addiction.

Worst burger and fries ever - big call. What a horrible fatty lunch, couldn't even eat it. The bacon was literally dripping fat all over the rest of the burger, ruining the bun completely. The chicken was also greasy and fatty. Service was terrible too, couldn't even hear the girl behind the counter. Giant waste of money at $17 for the meal. Recommend you avoid this place completely.

Went here for lunch. Very large serving of yummy seasoned chips and very big proper burgers. I got the country road burger which had a lovely soft burger bun, beef, cheese, bacon, lettuce and garlic aioli. Whilst they are a bit messy they are absolutely worth. Will be back
Elena
Yummm. The burgers are little messy and oily to eat but it is tasty!

It's just a burger.... Unremarkable. Chips are different (skins on), but nothing really to rave about.

BIG Burgers!!. I was impressed with my massive burger and beautiful potato wedge chips.

A healthy spin on traditional street food; the Burger Addiction menu tastes as good as it sounds.

So far I have tried the Shotgun Wedding and Andrew's Burger. They are both delicious in their own right.

A good balance of healthy and down right nasty food!

Can't wait to sink my teeth into the rest of the menu.

All up? Impressive. Great stuff!

Awesome. Was checking out the rundle place the other day. While I was on my journey of discovery, I found the food court to be quite adequate. There is a range of cuisines on offer from yum cha, mexican, yiros, subway, malaysian, bakery (cakes looked very appetising), however my hunger had already been satisfied by the Awwwseome matilda burger and CHUNKY potatoe chips I had just devoured from Burger Addiction. I thought Burger Addiction has a very modern presentation in comparison with traditional burger bars.

Will definitely be trying the rest of the menu, especially those Awwesome CHUNKY potatoe chips.

Not a fan. I noticed all of their chicken burgers were thigh so I was dubious and I should have listened to my instincts..thigh meat doesn't belong on burgers. It was full of gristle, the roll was chewy and it was a mess to eat. It was so bland that avocado managed to overpower chicken. The chips? Oily, tasteless.

One of the new food outlets at the Rundle Place food court is Burger Addiction. The new gourmet burger place is one of the latest to open across Adelaide, and offers a range of beef, chicken, pork and vegetarian burgers.

Looking for something quick and easy in the city, I head to the new Rundle Place food court '77' to see what is available during my lunch break. Having had Soonta and Salsa's at Rundle Place previously and in the mood for something a little more substantial, I see Burger Addiction and decide to give it a go. Let's be honest, if I didn't fellow blogger The Emperor would have never forgiven me!

Having visited quite a few burger joints over the past year (refer to side link labelled burger), I am increasingly curious as to when will this phase mellow down, just like the number of dessert cafes mushrooming around Adelaide. There is not one burger cafe that I cringe at nor is there one that I feel is superior to the rest. Each of them have their own unique flair in terms of taste and flavour combination. I have always wanted to try this place since I heard about it late last year but due to time restrictions, this was not possible. However, now that I have more time on hand (and a food sidekick), it made all the difference. First up, it is located in Rundle Place's food court, right near the escalator. Can be pretty busy during lunch hours but rest be assured that food will still be served within 5-10 minutes.Beef burgers costs $10 whilst chicken, pork and vegetarian costs about $9. Throw in a serve or fries or a canned drink if you like. The brother ordered their Rhapsody, blue
