Probably one of the better Uygur restaurants where food comes out hot, fresh and delicious. We got a bit carried away ordering and couldn’t stop eating the delicious food. If you haven’t tried uyghur cuisine this place will open your mind, tastebuds and convert you into an uyghur food lover!
First time for me to try Uyghur food, and found Tangritah's food outstanding! I have returned now and find that my favorite is the Cumin Lamb, although the Laghman is also quite good. And their yoghurt drink is perhaps my favorite drink anywhere!
The new look to this restaurant is really working in favour for this place. Had lunch there today and everything we ordered was amazing and didn’t take long to arrive at our table.
For anyone who has had a bad experience here in the past, I say give this place another go...they have made major improvements. You will not be disappointed! Another tip I have is to go at a time when you know it won’t be super busy. This is a traditional Uyghur restaurant, so many of the dishes are made from scratch, hence the longer wait times, especially when it’s a full house. The handmade noodles are amazing! Thank me later.
I have been there twice in the last week and have had a pleasant experience both times. The food was amazing and the customer service was great! Very helpful staff who adjusted our orders exactly how we wanted it. Would 100% recommend!
Yeah, its small, customer service is not great, most of the time takes more than 30min to get ur order.....hey! its a small family business run buy two old couple and most of their food is handmade.
wanna better service? go somewhere expensive, wanna get ur order in 5min? go KFC😁
16 bucks for hand pulled noodle, 2.5 bucks for a shish kebab.
Mate, this place definitely worth to try.
Gr8 food, unpleasant service.
Lamb kebabs, spicy fried noodle with lamb and veggies, lamb soup, uyghur style lamb dumps soup and the sweet yoghurt drink are all bomb.
Can get real biz during din din.
Tip: don't waste the homemade chilli.
Gave the rating if 4 for the taste and quality of the lamb and chicken skewers, the lamb dumplings and the sweet yoghurt drink. But service gets a 2 rating because it is slow and there usually is only one server. The food takes ages to come out, sadly because it's done with TLC. It's THAT good and smoky and barbecuey, folks! Meats slowly grilled over charcoal. Finger licking good.
My favourite restaurant - sure it might not look like much and the staff might not speak much english but its damn tasty.
Personal favourites are the lamb kebabs and the lamb buns, both very authentic. Noodle dishes are also great, dumplings are kind of plain. Ayran drink goes well with everything.
Great value for money.
This is a simple place, but if I'm driving by and I'm hungry, I always stop in for the Chochura dumpling soup. Parking can be inconvenient and the service is eccentric in a charming, foreign way.
Lamb skewers. The lamb skewers were tasty with huge flavour. They are using the traditional way to flavour and cook it, hence it tasted really good.
The place is really nice so you can have a pleasant time there. The staff works good and were kind. The food is delicious, this place serves food from tajikistan which gives a plus because of the taste.
They have different plates, i ordered fried noodles with beef and were so tasty, also, i ordered lamb kebabs which were fabulous. The size of the small order is enough for one person. They have big plates which i think are for two or more people.
A very tasty Uyghur delicacy. We had lamb and chicken skewers, flat noodles with fried chicken and hot and sour potato. The portion is quite big, we had a large one, enough for 3-4 people.
The best point it is halal restaurant, and the food is fine, it is just our taste doesn’t match with the dishes. Good environment and friend service so 5/5 in this area.
Tried the lamb rice for lunch. It was excellent! The other food options look amazing. Great flavours and family feel. Will definitely come back again.
Had the whole place to ourselves for lunch! Was like travelling to another country in your lunch-break without the hassle of airports etc. Loved the team work of the family in the kitchen. Was like visiting family. Will definitely go back. Great food!
This is a very family friendly restaurant and has a relaxed family vibe. Plenty of booth style seating which feels nice and cosy. The staff are very polite and friendly.
The food is great and well priced. The Ayran milk drink is sweet and tasty, certainly worth trying and something a bit different for some.
The hand made noodles are awesome as are the spicy fried green beans (great flavour balance). The Dumplings are also tasty as is the fried lamb and bread.
Always happy to visit and never disappointed. I would certainly recommend a visit.
Wow, lamb and chicken wing charcoal grilled skewers were out of this world! Egg and chives and spicy noodles perfect accompaniments.
