It was so amazing I loved it so much the flavours were so incredibly delicious and it’s a perfect treat size. I really would love if there were more flavours like peanut butter and banana, or chocolate types like KitKat and mars. Also there is a wall there with what flavours you would like to try and it’s just so amazing what other people come up with 10/10 cafe amazing.
Great concept. Quick service and tasted great has a limited variety but unique to most ice-cream I had the pav-lover it had a nice tangy flavor to it and my son had the Oreo-serious which was delicious and packed with flavor.
Love Scrolls a lot! Generous serving for that price. And many flavours to choose from ! Matcha lovers can now indulge in their matcha scroll. The mango and raspberry flavours are also very refreshing. Am so delighted that they've added crepe cakes onto their menu. Cant get enough of the texture and creaminess of the crepe cakes - my fav!
Honestly, love scroll. Though... super expensive for a cup of icecream, hence the lower rating. I love the cheaper Tuesday deals they do now - it's $6 per cup which is definitely way more affordable. I've tried a lot of their flavours but the cheesecake one still remains my go-to flavour. I absolutely love their cheesecake scroll - they use real baked cheesecake - absolutely delicious. If you wanted something lighter, the pavlova flavour is quite good too. Customer service is usually pretty good so no complaints there. If they lowered their prices though, I'd definitely be visiting more then I am now.
Ice cream is not only unique and natural tasting, it is also extremely fascinating to see the making of the handcrafted icecream. So far, I have tried three different flavour of their icecream. There is the Oreo, New York cheesecake, Nutella and Ferrero Rocher. They know how to fully synthesise the flavour and texture from both food.

I ate courtesy of Scroll; all opinions remain my own. I popped in to the Adelaide Scroll store to try their new sorbet range (yay, dairy-free options!) and opted for the Raspberry Dash (usually $9), which comes with fresh mint and is topped with mint-infused ice. Oooh. I watched the Scroll ninjas make my sorbet, starting with a liquid syrup that is spread on the icy-cold teppan, and smoothed flat before being scraped into perfect scrolls. The team were flat out during this visit, so I had about a 20 minute wait, but with ingredients running out and not enough staff, the two team members on shift were very apologetic. The sorbet itself had the most intense raspberry flavour I’ve ever tried in any icecream/gelato/sorbet, which was quite impressive. There was just the right balance between
Hidden away from the busy streets - it's no wonder why people like me could never find this place! Have been meaning to come here which I eventually did on Saturday, and the service is nothing but friendly! I had a Groupon voucher which I used and it was for two regular sized scroll cups valued at $18 but I got it for $9. Little to moderately busy on the Saturday afternoon and could see that it was a popular spot for the teens to chillax with friends. The scrolls were of a decent size and very nice!
A Friend took me here and it was a good experience. She suggested the matcha flavour as she thought the others were too sweet. Well, the matcha impressed me and the staff were very nice. I did think it was a little overpriced as it was $9 for a cup, but to be fair, they had fruits and biscuits in there and the flavours were good which made up for it.
Yum! Had the mango sorbet with blueberries and it was so good. Three vegan options and they allow you to mix and match. Definitely recommend and will return.
We are a bit of a fan... It's mesmerising watching the lovely people of scroll create your delicious bowl of ice cream right in front of your eyes. It's unique, it's different and the staff are ever so lovely, the portion sizes perfect and the flavour combo's always changing and making each visit as exciting as the next!
First tried this concept in hoian, Vietnam and it was absolutely delicious so it was nice to see a shop here in adelaide. Shop is situated in a back street behind rundle street so its well hidden with not alot of traffic going past but its certainly worth trying to find it. Its abit different than ice cream i think, maybe abit lighter but very delicious. The only thing I didn't like was sitting on milk crates, abit uncomfortable when you are 6 foot 1.
Just went a second time and tried two different flavours which was lemon meringue and cocolovin which is vegan friendly, both were very delicious but you do realise how expensive they are when you dont have a entertainment voucher like the first visit we did but even so worth having as a every now and then treat. My favourite flavour so far would probably be the baked cheesecake
Behind the busy Austral Hotel lies a slightly hidden city dessert gem called Scroll Ice Cream. It's a humble down to earth no frills dessert joint that capitalises on wayward tipsy patrons (I kid) with their refreshing and instragramable "ice" cream creations! I would personally recommend their peanut butter variety as they have nailed the savoury sweet profile just nicely!
Great sorbet ice-cream and reasonable selection. A lithe bit pricey for the serving size but it is unique the way they present the ice-cream in the cups. The location, behind Hungry Jacks and U- Park Rundle Street, is also a bit tricky to find. Also, be prepared to sit on milk crates at a low table if dining in
Yum, but pricey ice cream. Definitely more of a novelty experience as you get cute little ice creams that are definitely Instagram worthy, but almost to pretty to eat. If you haven't tried this type of ice cream before, I'd recommend it, the process is interesting to watch!
Awesome place and nice to see how your ice cream is being prepared! You can choose between fruity and chocolate. On Tuesdays there is a special. Be aware it could be crowded.
