Review Mallozzi - Adelaide

Melanie Marshall
A little bit of Italy in Adelaide. A fantastic menu served by people who truly know and love their food. Authentic flavours from a simple menu. Was quiet when we were there and could only improve with a bigger crowd

Disinterested staff, wine at $15 a glass in a tumbler, dry food, sparse plates and when asked for bread told kitchen doesn’t like to give up there bread for bruschetta and then give us a stale piece. Horrible experience, tried the ragu special which was dry and horrible, never again

Great food. Fab atmostphere. The perfect place for a relaxed nibble that feels a little special. Truely Delicious. We had 3 small places (italian tapas) and a very very nice wine and that was plenty for a light meal... The waitress was very enthusiatic and helpful.

If you like trying a little bit of everything this place is totally for you! Had a particularly lovely red wine recommended by the bartender and the complementary house marinated olives were delish.

The arancini where dry, the crochett jad too much pepper, the parmigiana was nice, the polenta chips were average. Over all not a good experience. I would prefer not to be asked how was my meal than to have disinterested staff that couldn't care but thought they would ask anyway

A bit torn on this one. We enjoyed a selection of stuzzuchini and the concept that is being attempted here. Elements of Italy for sure. I do fear yet again that this style of eating and drinking will not create a sustainable business. Value is the question. When you get the bill and reflect on price it is hard to feel you received the value. The cost of doing business here in Australia means it's tough to put stuzzichini, tapas, meze or any other bar food concept on the table at a price that really represents value for finger food. I wish the team good luck, I hope they prove me wrong.

Good service and decor, and I understand that you are an aperitivo bar and so that means small eats but it’s a bit of a stretch in pricing especially since the traditional definition of aperitivo is actually FREE small eats with beverages.

Great place to start the night, or end the night, or for the whole night. Beautiful tasting plates and tasty cocktails. Enjoy!
