Well this was a surprise. Impromptu dinner after kids footy and had never been before. Arrived at the time kitchen was being closed, but were accommodated by the wonderful Georgia. The special slow cooked beef cheek was far better than pub fare, and Portuguese chicken salad bowl an unexpected delight. Could have not wished for better meals and at such reasonable prices. Georgia - thanks for your wonderful and warm hospitality. A short and memorable visit to the Bartley.

I did not stay here but dined here probably more than 5 times the last few months. Bartley Tavern definitely I can recommend. Good food, good atmosphere, good price. They have a nice salad station. Generous selections. When you ordered main course you can have access in the salad station defitely worth the money. The best food so far I tried here was the pork crackling with rice. So tasty and Yum! They have a good selection of drinks. Atmosphere beautiful. Service is fast all the time I visited. Friendly staff too

Today it is sOoo busy. The table we supposed to have got mixed up and was given to another customers. But the staff is so apologetic and look for the best seat she could. We ended up near the bar area with a bigger and better table far from the busy crowded restaurant, we are all very happy of that. So thank you for the beautiful service. The food as usual so delicious. We will always come back on this place.

Never had a bad experience. Food great, staff wonderful, accommodating, polite. Some even choosing to still wear masks for patrons and self. Tables and patrons, distanced, not cheek by jowl like some. I am a ‘vulnerable’ and this is somewhere safe for me. Covid 19-22 is far from over 🦠 🦠🦠🦠

Nice feel at the place. There for an informal 21st. Tables were sticky, needed a good clean. Ordered barramundi, this very nice, not too bad on timing, BUT the mash was very Salty. I advised a waiter, within 2 minutes the manager (whatever her name was) came over to sort it out. No fuss, and no messing around to fix it. Offered replacement and drinks, short time later, the meal arrived and was very nice, thanks for the great service, care and follow up. Just clean the tables, they were grotty.

Horrible experience. Came here to celebrate the night with a bunch of friends and my order got put in wrong. Had a wrong dish out and when I requested to correct the order, I was not served until my friends finished eating. I inquired about my food and they said it was coming without giving any estimate time. When we prompted further, they admitted that it was gonna be another 30 mins. The servers apologized half-heartedly and told off one of my friends who inquired about the dish to go back to the table. I would avoid this place if you want to be served properly.

Fabulous service and great settings overlooking the wonderful waterfront of West Lakes foreshores. Fantastic menu and drinks. Relaxing atmosphere just to unwind with friends. Great for large groups function which I have organized before. Must visit!!!

Came for a family dinner recently. The place has had a makeover and looks nice. Service was fine, staff polite. Food overall was well received, especially the schnitzels which were on special that night for $11.90. I had the lamb pot pie, it was tasty and the side salad was nice. There’s still the salad bar to enjoy as well. We’d probably go back again.

Will never come here again. We had been waiting for an hour, finally got tasteless scotch fillet and overcooked barramundi. Terrible experience.

Place was great and spacious. We went there with a group of 20. Some of us got the food really fast, but some didn't get theirs until others finished the meals. I ordered the pork belly. It was really nice and tender. I love the varieties of the salad bar. Great restaurant close to home :)

This place is good for if you cant be bothered cooking dinner and want a good reliable pub meal. Reasonable food, friendly staff and not badly priced.

Have been to the Bartley before but not since a refurbishment. Place looks great!!! <br/><br/>This was a birthday dinner 9 people. Prices are reasonable looking at the salad bar very nice indeed great choices hot and cold. Drinks menu reasonable.<br/><br/>I had garlic bread which was very nice and a schnitzel good size and not cooked to within an inch of its life! <br/><br/>We had 2 people turn up late their fault and as the staff were delivering our meals one girl said she would put their order in now with the kitchen so they could eat with us. I was very very impressed with that customer service wish I had seen her name. Well done!!!!! Staff are happy to serve you <br/><br/>Do try this venue I'm going to take family back there well worth a try.

Terrible gravy. We all had schnitzel which were cooked fine it was the gravy. It was way too thick and tasted terrible.

Don't waste your money. Ordered the fish and chips others at the table ordered steak , burgers and schnitzels <br/>After a 45min wait ,, what a disappointment <br/>Fish was the only warm meal delivered to our table , steak over cooked , as were the snitzels and the chips tasted like the 3rd heat up <br/>Took complement / complaint form home , posted my review including my email address <br/>Not one word from the management !!<br/>Worst meal I have had in a long time !!!

Stayed for dinner with 2 other couples last night, had Tempura prawns, what garbage that was, nothing like tempura prawns. Our friend sent back Gem fish not once but twice, not even a sorry when they finally presented a meal that was fit for human consumption. Could not recommend this pub!

Very bland. Came to my local for a late lunch. Had salt and pepper chicken, dry and tasteless, fries over cooked, friends meal was chewy and cold.. What a waste of special time! ! Never again! !

Where's the love. Came here today with a friend and were very disappointed. had the S+P Squid and only had a few bites. absolutely no love in the food at all. the squid was chewy and chips tasted old. even the bread roll was stale. not excited by this food at all and will not come back.

The only food I will pay for here is the salad bar. Chips weren't even nice, brown and tasting like there oil wasn't clean. The patties I had look like they were bought in the frozen section of the supermarket and full of potatoe (not salmon and veg) the place looks nice too bad the food doesn't match

GREAT VALUE AND A GREAT PRICE. The Bartley is a great place to go for a cheap good quality meal. There’s plenty of room for large groups of people and the menu has a large selection to choose from. The quality of food is what you’d expect from a good pub but the serves are huge and the prices are ridiculously cheap plus you get the biggest and best salad bar in Adelaide. I always enjoy going to the Bartley for a casual meal and you certainly won’t leave hungry.
