Review Lamb Spit Bbq - Adelaide

I have visited this Cafe a small number of times recently and I was surprised by the value. The meals are larger than you expect for the price and very tasty. I have been working my way through the menu - but have found my favourite item is the Yiros on a plate. I definitely over ordered that day as I also got the loaded fries and a piece of fried chicken (which is also great.) Every time I've been, the place has had a steady stream of other customers. I'm not a morning person though so I haven't been there for breakfast yet. Maybe one day.

Exceptional Value... Simple food that Tastes Good. Friendly staff. I had a "Yummy" generous Lamb Yiros, rich flavoursome gravy on chips, and the best Chicken Nuggets - Succulent, morrish, freshly, handmade. My mouth is watering just remembering them. I will be back to try out their all day breakfast and of course, another side of those Chicken Nuggets.

Ordered chips ... heard the girl state the timer had not been set, she then said they were overcooked hoping i wouldnt hear... she still served them ... I sent them back 2nd lot they cooked were fine. Serving overcooked rock hard chips to a customer isn't ok ... if she had of come over and said sorry the timer hadn't been on and we need to recook them I would of been fine but being served hard ones really annoyed me when she knew they were overcooked

Just re-opened with new owners and a new menu. I tried a lamb yiros today and it was one of the best I’ve had in Adelaide.

This place was a pleasant surprise! Yiros was a huge portion and so delicious.

New owners, so decided to try a $15 lamb yiros with the lot. Only one yiros order before me, took 15 mins from ordering to get my dry yiros on burnt bread and no sauce. Went back to get them to put sauce on the yiros to make it more edible and that took another 5mins, whilst the owner was sitting down chatting loudly with a mate and not caring about the poor quality of product and service that his untrained staff were dishing out. For the cost, better off getting something from the foodcourt

Great place. I absolutely love their noodle dishes, that they make from scratch including the noodles. Real delicious food and excellent value.

I was initially drawn to the Lamb Spit by the freshly made pides which are excellent. However, They also serve Urghur cuisine so on my most recent visit I couldn't go past the dumpling soup. A generous bowl of dumplings, mushrooms and capsicum. You can pick how spicy you want it. The Lamb Spit is in the arcade near the big Asian supermarket.

Straight out of the oven bread has it own place in my heart. Fresh pides can take 10-12 mins to arrive, but the wait is worth it. Owner is so courteous and a nice gentleman. Easy to pocket as well. Little separate from the food court which is a good thing. A must try.

Lamb Spit BBQ is a little takeaway store located outside the Central Market Plaza food court. The store mainly sells Yiros but also offers other items you would find at a local fish and chip shop.
