Balfour's pies, pasties & sausage rolls are yuck, "used" to be really good,once, maybe around 1987...but now terrible junk...& frog cakes areš¤®...only the donuts, although they don't bother with the type from years gone...pineapple,caramel,strawberry,cinnamon, icing...means profit is the name of the game

Service is great, always lovely staff and owners. Serving the best coffees in the city. Balfours pies and pastries are above average but not the best. Best donuts and custard tart. Elbio's range are fantastic.

I have been purchasing my morning coffee from Balfours City Cross for a number of years. Owners and staff are all fantastic people and their coffee is first class. Highly recommended Balfours City Cross.

Staff always welcome me with a big smile and say thanks even if I buy a simple coffee. I come here everytime I fancy a coffee in the afternoons.

Sat back and watched every staff member (3) and the 2 owners on their mobile phones. Staff adjusting their hair without washing their hands afterwords. 3 people serving one customer takes away that personal interaction. Maybe the owner should stagger staff starting times so they don't stand around giving the time to do this. I will not patronize this establishment for these reasons. Balfours is a iconic S.A. business being let down by these owners.

Frog cakes and leamingtons! Two beautiful cakes, delicacy to south Australia and if you want to try it,straight out here. The frog cakes are nice and moist and the leamingtons creamy and coconutty. Wonderful pastries.

Great coffee, love the mini frogs, the Balfours pies and pasty are still the best! Great customer service, staff are well trained and friendly.

Hard frogs. Their cakes are rock-hard and/or days old! And when asked if they are fresh they say yes, but the cream in the frog cakes is firm all the way through, and the ucing is so hard it chips off! The staff are extremely rude (except for the older man), and it takes 2 or 3 of them to serve 1 person? A disgrace to the SA icon name of Balfours!

Best coffee in town, they can remember most of the customers' order daily and it's amazing! Very friendly customer service too. Where can you find your food and coffee deliver to your dine in table in a food court? You can easily fill up your tummy with yummy pies deal in just less than $10. Can't find it anywhere better!
