This was horrible food. This picture is apparently sugar vinegar pork ribs. The special fried rice was bland with almost cm sized chunks of carrot and ginger and instead of a bacon or ham, it had fritz in it. Disgusting food

Despite occasional inconsistency of food quality, the flavour of this Szechuan cuisine restaurant is quite satisfactory. While maintaining variety of choices of traditional Chinese dishes, it also developed some first and unique street food for authentic options, such as La-mian (hand-pulled noodles) and Chuan-chuan (hotpot ingredients in a skewer). The dinning environment looks fancy, however, the maintenance of its facility, especially toilet, should be paid more attention.

We ordered a takeaway. Seriously, the instant noodles we ended up eating.I think they put too much spice in order to cover up expired spoiled pork.

Not good. Very salty and bitter. This is a vegetable fried noodle butＩcouldn't see any vegetables but some broccoli roots. Very yuky. Not recommend anymore

I’ve always loved the hand-pulled noodles here. However, it has been a year since my last visiting and this time is a total disappointment. I don’t think the noodles are hand-pulled anymore. We ordered two different kinds of noodle and they looked exactly the same. The soup was tasteless and the dumplings were horrible. Did you use coles’s dumplings? Anyway we used to love this restaurant but apparently they’ve changed

The worst customer service you could ever have! Will never visit this restaurant again! So shame on their staff’s attitude！ especially the girl with hair tied up, she is so rude and arrogant to customers! Onions and capsicums are occupied at least 1/2 of the dishes. Taste is so average and not cheap at all! I even had diarrhea after eating their good! Don’t recommend at all!

food was decent and the price was reasonable. Plenty of room and the layout was nice. Can get pretty busy but you dont have to wait long to receive your meal

Lovely handmade noodles making by a master from China:) the beef brisket one is my favorite~ <br/><br/>I have been there for several times with my family and friends. The staffs are really friendly and offer my a special drink to celebrate my birthday~ <br/><br/>Some dishes are also attractive including some seafood and meat dishes; I will be back next time

Lovely experience with friends! I love the salmon head with tofu and mushroom soup! The spicy chicken is also my favorite dish which comes with the handmade noodle inside. Staffs are really friendly. They also provide some drinks and sweeties like matcha smoothies in that restaurant~ I will be back

I was not welcome. I walk in and politely ask for a table for lunch. I was reasonably well dressed and was expecting 2 friends who had not arrived and there were dozens of free tables. Instead of being shown to a table I am cringed at and it is suggested that I take a seat on the couch at the entrance. Immediately I am annoyed and concerned but I keep my mouth shut. After some time I am asked whether I am at the right place as "this is Taste and maybe you are meant to be at the next restaurant over" I am shown to the door and I leave. After getting very upset I return and blast who I think is the manager for the terrible customer service. I will never set foot in that place again. I can only assume they didn't like the fact I was Caucasian. I am a very kind person to other businesses and I hate leaving reviews like this but this place deserves it. Don't eat there.

Always come back to this place and always be surprised! The noodles and the other food are so authentic that make me feel like home immediately. The atmosphere is relaxing, modern and welcoming. The staff needs more training but clearly trying their best to serve you. They have several couches for the long waiting queue - thoughtful. I invite all my friends to this place, all the time!

Went there tonight for dinner. I have seen this place for ages and thinking about going so I decided to now. Ordered 2 mains. Rice for 2. 1 Entree. And a Chinese broccoli. And a pot of tea. Total price $62. There was enough food to even take some home also. Food was good. Nice and fresh prices were reasonable. I'd sure come back here.

Quiet place for friend catch up. We ordered chicken with some kind of peanuts sauce. Food came out fast, dishes well presented. Overall, food tasted average. The staff were friendly and helpful although I think they could use a bit more training in serving.

Great food! Great taste!. Our company hired a few tables here the other week for a staff function and I must say I was impressed!<br/><br/>We ordered many dishes and in my opinion all were authentic and certainly tasted fantastic! I've lived in China as an expat for two years so have a bit of experience with real Chinese food.<br/><br/>Will definitely be coming back!

Refreshing Chinese Restaurant. Attracting refreshing looking, it looks more like a modern western café rather than a Chinese restaurant, nice & clean, oily smell free. The artistic dinning sets on the table are sophisticated, obviously the owner hope you enjoy your quality live while you enjoy the meal here. The food provided are fresh and taste great in affordable price. All staffs are welcoming & friendly. This is certainly a place I'd suggest to go.

With the steady expansion of the Chinatown, we’re slowly seeing eateries move into the side streets, away from the busy Gouger Street cafe precinct. The menu is a combination of traditional and fusion with a selection of noodles, wonton, dumplings, rice, seafood, cold dishes, vegetables, sichuan and modern dishes.

I walked past this restaurant on Wright Street, didn't even know it existed. The entrance of the restaurant looked very welcoming. The restaurant had been opened for two weeks apparently.
