Muffin Break City Cross has moved and looks fabulous! Great coffee muffins and lovely staff. Keep up the great work!

Love their muffins, they're always fresh & they have a great variety. They even have some unusual muffins, they also have a good range of gluten free muffins. Their coffees are good also. It's our favourite go to place.

A cafe that doesn’t charge extra for ‘alternate’ milk! Service is friendly and if you go late in the day they clear out their muffins, 4 for $10. The muffins are always entertaining in that they overfill the pan but this gives you extra ‘top’ and everyone knows that’s always the best bit anyway

It has been the worst experience ever to visit this place. The staff member Emily has not only thrown callous attitude but the way she served the coffee, was extremely insulting. Typical Racist. Don’t understand, how can they afford to have such person handling the counter and dealing with customers.

I had a cheese tomato toastie that should taste like a toastie not sweet like muffin, it wasn’t worth it n wasted my money and time

Open early everyday, friendly staff who remember just how you like your coffee... freshly baked muffins have a wide range of selections including gluten free savoury and sweet.. highly recommended, if your ever in the city give their coffees and food selection a try I guarantee you won't be disappointed 🤗

Friendly service and muffins and carrot cake were top quality like always. Reasonable prices

Visited once and ordered an iced chocolate and it game out weirdly powdery? And tasted almost like sand. I let it go and decided to visit again, ordered a ham and cheese croissant and it was badly toasted and lukewarm. Definitely won't come here for pastries, or iced drinks anymore until they do better.

So this place sells muffins, since this is called muffin break, you would think that they would have the best muffins in the world. They are not. I ordered the raspberry choc chip, I think the whole muffin had 5 choc chips. Coffee was strong, cheese, ham toasty was good

The score of 3.5 is mainly for the muffin I consumed here, it was a Xmas one with an array of fruits topped with a glace cherry. The muffin was dense with crumbly texture & flavored with spice. Coffee is nearly always a hit & miss affair at Muffin Break franchises, at this one a miss. The flavor was lack lustre & the coffee sloppy.

It was my first time there and I got a free birthday muffin. A blueberry muffin. Disappointed me. It was way too dry as it was just left there in the open air. I had high expectations for this place as this is actually a shop specialising in muffins.... But seriously, even the $1 blueberry muffin at Coles is better than this.

My favourite brand of muffin. Lol no suprise if their muffins are good...just read the name. Usually I bought the blueberry one but this time picked a mix berries muffin. Hmm...tasted so good

Looking for a treat to share with the wife at the end of a work week and whilst Adelaide Central Market is 'the place' to go, time is against me so to Muffin Break. Ended up with a rhubarb crumble slice, good size and not too soft or hard texture. It was also moist enough with rhubarb being the 'hero' as it really should in such a slice. The lady serving was friendly and smiled and it was nice enough I'd buy it again! MB as a chain does ok!

First time trying out Muffin Break despite it being everywhere in Australia. Got the Spinach, feta and sun dried tomato muffin because I was feeling like something savoury. The staff kindly warmed the muffin up for me, which I think made loads of difference. The muffin was nothing too outstanding, but it was tasty nonetheless. It had a generous amount of filling throughout and the texture was pretty spot on. The $5 price tag is a little inflated though.

"What We Do Best, Muffins & Coffee" Inside the City Cross Rundle Mall you will find Muffin Break. On arrival it was, Clean, bright, appealing and comfortable. Feeling like a muffin & coffee, where else would you go?. My choice was a Lemon and Poppy Seed Muffin, with a large Latte. By the time I was organized and seated my order was prepared. The muffin was fresh warm as expected. The coffee was served in a porcelain handle, (not a cardboard cup) mouth watering, just hit the spot. Noticed while their, an extensive range of yummy food. They are also open for Business Meetings, lunch & Breakfast. Good Franchise, will return.
