Poppy went to Zambreros North Adelaide for a Burrito before the Port Power game one night. Poppy thought he'd get some Mexican on the way to the Adelaide Oval instead of wasting money on hot chips and meat pies. Poppy ordered the Lamb Burrito with Black Rice, guacamole, & Chipotle sauce. It was neatly wrapped by the girl who made it behind the counter for Poppy, and was still hot by the time Poppy made it to his seat before the first bounce of the Footy. Zambreros rarely lets you down so long as you don't have extremely high expectations as it can be a hit and miss depending on who makes it. Poppy always revisits multiple Zambrero locations. Thumb Up
Did we just become best friends over our mutual love for Mexican goodness at Zambrero? Why, yes! Yes, we did!. I have been blogging about food for a little over four years now. It’s been such an exciting journey and the prospect of sampling new menus, cafes and/or restaurants has always tickled my fancy. However, when it comes to Mexican feasts, it’s a whole new level of excitement.
The North Adelaide Zambrero's have relocated north on the same street. The new shop is uber bright and modern.
I have found the original north adelaide Zombrero always to be well run with great food and friendly staff.
i am very unplease with my service at this location. the staff were unprofessional and laughing the whole time that they served me. the worker wasn’t even in uniform and hand strands of hair hanging down his face … wouldn’t be surprised if someone had some extra taste in their burrito. overall dissapointed. My burrito bowl was 80% lettuce
