Review Salsa's Fresh Mex - Adelaide

Very rude service. Don’t have any knowledge how to deal with customers. I asked for nachos with veggies and guacamole and sour cream. She gave me corn chips and with sour sauce not even sour cream. I raised this and she is giving me explanations not even apologised and saying other lady look order I can help anything. I said I am not having this and returned. She denied to make new one also refunding. All I want to say is before you order confirm your order. We ask for any meal deal she said yes, and you can see on the receipts she charged 8:45 just for chips and drinks. Chips are very small. Can see in picture. We paid 40$ ended up eating chips and drink. Waste of main meal.

5/5 for the lovely young lady for her awesome service. Super helpful, juggling people like a champion!! 0/5 for the business for being so stingy. You have 1 staff member on a WEEKEND? Serving multiple people at once. And looks super young! I felt so bad for her. Your prices are not that cheap either. Stop being so stingy! I hope you value her and pay her very well! Stop overworking good valuable people! You have lost customers cause there weren’t enough people to serve them!

Couldn't get served. 2 people behind the counter and not many customers waiting for their orders yet I stood at the counter and didn't get acknowledged so walked off. I returned when there were no customers and same again. Not acknowledged after standing at the counter for some time. I walked off again

The girl working today was alone (girlboss) but did she have a foul mood? No, she was serving smiles (and food), she pushed my food out so quick I was afraid I got someone else’s food. And the nachos? I’ve never had them so full, like these nachos? Full size, I was debating offering to share with the small family beside me. Anyway 5 stars, idk who that girl was but I love her

So we did not dissopinted at all. Lovely food and cant wait to try more of their foods in the menu. Proces are reasonble as well.

Tried the chicken fajita bowl. Chicken was nicely cooked but the sauce was not great. I prefer the sauce in gyg burrito bowls.

Love the food and it's always fresh, but preparing my order always takes a good 15 min including waiting to be served. Don't really have the time for it when on my break. Also the chips are overally salty, doesn't taste good or healthy.

Kids loved the taco's, the spicey dipping sauce was great but don't give to little kids until you've tried it. It packs a bit of punch. Would eat here again.

My first visit to Salsas for a lunch catchup. The Mucho Veggie was amazing. Coriander & lime rice, onion & capsicum, zucchini & broccoli, corn salsa, black beans, guacamole & chipotle salsa. A fantastic fresh lunch full of flavor so impressed.

Got a free burrito for my birthday. Service was fast, and they wrote happy birthday on it for me, which I loved. The menu is large, but the salad choices are made for you, which would suit some. Burritos are a bit smaller than other places.

Okay look. The food is pretty good, (love those chips) but OMG the workers are SO. SLOW. I haven't been to this Salsas without waiting at least 15/20 minutes for my meal even when there is no one else to serve. Salsas step up your game!

Got the Baja steak burrito, it tasted pretty good but was a bit dry. I probably would come back again but the price is pretty steep for what you actually get, was still hungry after finishing the burrito.

To be honest Salsa's is probably not the best value for money. For $12.95, the Chipotle Chicken Salad I got was only moderate in size and if you had a larger appetite it would probably leave you a little bit hungry. Taste-wise it was not bad. Very heavy on the flavours, though. Maybe my palate is used to blander, less heavily seasoned food.

While tasty, that's as positive as I can get. Tacos not made with any care. One of the soft tacos, was not a complete round making it impossible to hold, and more sloppy than usual to eat. Chips were not crisp, soggy and barely cooked covered with seasoning. Pulled pork was tasty and warm but the chicken is served cold, which I'm not sure is intended or not?
No straws for drinks. Lots of other choices in this food hall.

Taco Tuesday, for members, is the highlight of my otherwise mundane Tuesday.

$2.00 taco's...HELL YES!

Not a member? You can easily collect a membership card when ordering or download the app onto your smartphone.

If you're looking for something a bit more substantial that a taco, try a Chip Burrito - its chips inside a burrito, and it tastes AMAZING!!

I tried the burrito bowl with 14hour beef and while I was disappointed with the portion size (its not much for $12.95), I did enjoy the flavours. The beef was well seasoned and tender and the other ingredients were fresh and zesty. It tastes better than it looks!

Good value if you are mex club card holder! Today I had a $6 pork burrito and they upgraded my chips to apologise for the long wait! I'm happy with that! Oh and I find the food yummy!

WOW. Hands down the worst burrito I've ever had. And I've had many. And what takes 10 minutes?!! You'll seriously do better making your own at home. Plus it'll cost much less!

Less value for money, taste is ok though. I bought a chicken burrito and added extra $1 jalapenos to b extra hot.unfortunately there wer hardly 3 jals in there and not hot at all..struggled to find the grilled chicken pieces, all that was there was rice and tomatos..for 10$ I think it's not of great value.. but taste was ok.

Bland and service is slow. My order took over 15 mins from the time I placed my order to the time I received it (lunch hour rush). Not only was this bad as half my lunch break was over the food was bland, I oredered the Beef Jalapeno burrito and no Jalapeno's minimal salsa - absolutely no flavour and the tables for you to eat at were filthy,

Never again. I am a happy positive person and I never write cafe reviews but, the expeience I had here at salsas in the city disappointed me so much that I felt I had a responsibility to warn other unsuspecting consumers.
I was so SHOCKED at the tiny sized morsel they had the nerve to call a "burrito" which I was charged $10 for that I felt people deserved to be warned!
I am not greedy nor am I ignorant to what a typical cafe/ fast food outlet deems fair but I actually felt cheated after dining here - NEVER AGAIN!!

I love their whole menu, but there's always a REALLY long queue. which I suppose can't be helped because it's so popular, but it IS meant to be fast food, not wait for 15 mins for a regular chips.

Run out of Rice. So they ran out of rice today. Can you believe that? The substitute, was not, 'could we upgrade you for your inconvenience', 'would you like free guacamole with that' - no, it was bloody lettuce! the nerve!

Taco Magic. Here's a rundown of a few of their tacos I've tried; needless to say on Taco Tuesdays!
Chicken chipotle is THE BEST with generous amounts of guacamole to top off the flavour-packed chicken.
Carnitas (pork taco) is perfect for sweet pineapple lovers - just like those found on Hawaiian pizzas. The pork itself is tender, but tastes only salty.
Habanero steak is like black-pepper beef in a tortilla; the least memorable of the lot.
Also ordered Mexicrinckles - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned with finger-licking good spices~
Will be going back on a weekly basis for my taco fix; can't wait to try the classic hard tacos!

Today was Taco Tuesday at Salsa's Fresh Mex Grill at Rundle Place so I thought what a nice day for some Mexican food. On Tuesdays, Salsas sell their tacos for $2.50 each! This is a great bargain for someone like me who is at uni and on a tight budget. Originally I wanted to order two classic hard beef tacos but at the time of day I ordered (2:30pm) they had run out so I decided to try the chicken taco instead. The taco contained grilled chicken pieces, grated cheese, salsa fresca (the store makes this salsa fresh daily), sour cream and shredded lettuce. I thought the simple combination was quite tasty and I liked that the tacos were not spicy! I would recommend their food if you feel like something different from typical fast food!

Shop front counter, Habanero hombre burrito: grilled steak, black beans, coriander & lime rice, onion & capsicum, salsa fresca, sour cream and habanero salsa; $10.95 Mexicrinkles; $3.30 2 x soft tacos; $7.95 – carnitas: slow cooked pork with pineapple and mango salsa, a squeeze of lime juice and pinch of coriander, chicken chipotle: grilled chicken, salsa fresca, guacamole with a chipotle salsa Dropped into the brand spankin’ new food court aka 77 Your Place to Eat Rundle Place for some finger lickin’ good crinkle cut chips (and some sides of a burrito and tacos, the role reversal of foods hehe)! For those of you who declare that Chicken Chef have the best hot chips—you know who you are, then you need to give these potato chips a go! Incredibly crispy with a light a soft potato centre, each chip is tossed and covered in a super secret spice that makes them taste better than better! More flavour, more kick and the best part of it all, the chips weren’t even greasy! They’re so darn aweso
