This is still my go to place for chinese roast duck and pork. They take a huge amount of pride in their products. They sell the duck, they sell the pancakes, they sell the sauce. The duck is always juicy, tender and fatless. The pork is always tender and meaty with crispy crackling. The sell Vietnamese style pickled vegetables so you can make your own banh mi at home. Even if you don't live in the area it's worth the trip.
Besides the owners being super friendly, this place is well known for their fantastic roast pork crackling. You won’t be disappointed with the quality and prices.

Go to place to duck and pork. Can specify how much you want to spend and they're very friendly. For $2.50 extra you can ask them to debone the duck, totally worth the pain of avoiding the bones with every piece!
This is my go-to place for BBQ pork. I enjoy coming here because I always feel so welcomed once I step in. Great service and very nice food!

Best takeaway in town?. Read reviews on Urbanspoon and knowing how my wife likes duck headed down for a Saturday lunch. It's a plain little storefront with not a lot to recommend it from the outside. But there are beautiful brown ducks, chickens and pork in the window and as we were going in someone was bringing out a whole roast pig, split down the middle and crispy and crinkled.
Probably not a place to sit and eat - there's one table and four chairs - but the staff are very friendly and helpful and they do takeaway. (Which we did - 10 minutes or so down Torrens road and we were sitting in the shade at a beach side park in Semaphore)
For $9.00 you can get a decent helping of meat, rice, pickled vegetables and a tub of sauce. There were three of us and we had roast duck, soya sauce chicken and barbecue pork.
The chicken, my 15 year old taste tester informs me was "really good" and "pretty chickeny" which, coming from a 15 year old is high praise indeed. It came with a tub of soy sauce for dipping.
The duck, my wife told me, was the best she's had: juicy, meaty and not a skerrick of fat. It came with hoisin sauce
The pork was excellent stuff, sweet, juicy and tasty and came with a vinegar and garlic sauce.
They really were exceptionally good and great value. Probably the $27 bucks worth we bought would have done four people, because we had food left over at the end.
They also do whole and half ducks, chickens and roast pork and, as we saw, whole pigs.

Beautiful Roast Duck. This place was recommended by no less than 2 families that we know (1 Aussie and 1 Vietnamese). The crispy skin Hong Kong duck was really crispy and not a drop of fat is to be found under the skin ...so if you like your duck crispy minus the fat, this is for you. It comes with a sweet hoisin dipping sauce. The Peking duck is deliciously tender, tasty and juicy - our favourite and just watch my kids fighting over the skin, LOL! If looking for a nice lunch, a big helping of meat plus rice plus vegie is around $8.50 - defintely value for money! We tried the char siew - cantonese style BBQ roast meat - very nice and tender. The Crispy skin roast pork was a bit chewy so we gave that a miss after the first time. Overall, it's good value for money and really yummy : )

Another one of Adelaide’s hidden gems! An unassuming hole in the wall packs a punch with a range of bbq and roast meats either as a meal or to purchase by the kilo. The serve of two mixed meats, rice and pickled vegetables is only $14 and an absolute huge size! Friendly service and super tasty dishes

i ordered 1/2 hong kong roasted duck for about $16.5. the other roasted chicken, peking duck and steamed duck are $15.5 for 1/2 and about $30.5 for the whole one (if im not mistaken). it has a lot of bones tbh.... bony duck :)) the sauce is kinda sweet to my taste, but it’s fine. staffs are friendly, CASH ONLY. recommend to bring ur own bowls or bags cuz they use a lot of plastic bags. overall, the flavour is great 👍🏻
