I got a takeaway from this place , they have so many items in their menu you can try from.

If you’ve read the About Me page on our website (www.dad-ventures.com) then you’ll know that I, Dad have a very strong European heritage that most definitely translates to all things food. I have been accompanying my nunna and mum to Pasta Al Dente for years, however it wasn’t until today that I fully appreciated this European gem that is located on Assembly Drive in Tullamarine.
Walking into Pasta Al Dente reminds me of visiting old relatives that I haven’t seen in a long time, except these relatives; bake fresh pizza from a glorious pizza oven, stock fresh pasta, bake their own amazing bread and serve delicious cold cuts from an extensive deli. Pasta Al Dente is a European Disneyland and the prices are incredibly cheap. I first browsed the hot food section which was magnificently displayed in front of the pizza oven. The variety of arancini and pizza on offer was outstanding, however today I felt I needed something from the deli section. As I browsed the fresh, frozen and familiar products on offer I couldn’t help but pick a few things off the shelf that I couldn’t wait to cook up at home.
I ordered the Chicken Antipasto panini which had just been made by a lady that looked surprisingly like my cousin, moments before. I also ordered the vegetarian wrap with similar filling. The Chicken panini was incredibly tasty. The eggplant, sundried tomato and pesto was a taste explosion that was topped off by stretchy cheese. I downed this in minutes and just loved how fresh this all tasted. The chicken was moist and consistent with being fresh without any hint of dryness. The vegetarian wrap was equally as awesome and was balanced with soft fetta cheese.
The coffee is where Pasta Al Dente lets itself down. My long black was watery and weak and I did see a latte at the next table which appeared watery and spoiled. I think the coffee would be improved by using smaller cups rather than tall glasses and improving on the milk quality and process.
After smashing down a great lunch I headed right back to the aisles just behind me to stock up on some more “worth it” pasta and other goodies. Check out the pics to see exactly what I purchased from Pasta Al Dente.
My verdict: Worth it for low priced products in store and for lunch valued at $13 for coffee + 2 panini’s.

Now this is one of our lunch time favourites on workdays in Tullamarine. The sheer variety of excellent pizzas and other food items hot and waiting to be packed and taken away is incredible. $5 pizzas, burgers, arancini, etc. this one is a must try.

Amazing place beautiful nice fresh bread baked in the premises fantastic small pizzas and the pasta wow loved the ravioli. Really good customer service great place will be back.
I've been coming here for years, I used to bring the kids here and get them a pizza and a hot chocolate. now we all come for the pizza and coffee. inside is like multiple stores, pizzaria, bakery, deli, italian supermarket, cafe. we go there early for coffee and pastry and go home with fresh bread, ham and pastries. it's become one of our go to places for overseas visitors, its simple but good quality.
You want heavy food, then go here you won't be disappointed as they have a good variety of meats, pasta, sweets, heaps of bread, and pizza's on the go and other fast foods, but the problem is if you go after 1pm they're all gone as very popular. Today, I only had a coffee (cappuccino) which was ordinary but the smell of their food made the trip all worthwhile. If you're having guests over or hosting a party and you need bits & pieces then go here.
By the way it's a short stroll to the Eiffel Tower (no, not Paris unfortunately!) where you can get an abundance of deserts:)🍮🍰🍦

Yesterday afternoon went to Eiffel Tower, Tullamarine to buy an authentic Italian style cake to take to friends - Almost next door, I spot this other warehouse, also selling Italian foods direct to the public - I didn't have much time, but had to have a look...
PASTA AL DENTE, Assembley Drive, Tullamarine is one of those places that beckons true lovers of food and demands a good thorough investigation..
They make and sell fresh and frozen foods ranging in variety from beautiful freshly baked continental breads and pizzas, to fresh pastas and the home-made sauces to go with them, to big bags of frozen pumpkin and pine nut filled agnolotti and trays of frozen hand-made arancini..
They've also got a fabulous deli there..
Ah, it's an awesome place.. Well worth a drive, even from the other side of town.. They've got some handy stuff..
I bought 10 ciabatta rolls - $4.50, 10 pizza rolls - $12 and 2 kgs frozen beef tortellini - $14

This place cannot be faulted. It is a true taste of Italy in the most unlikely of settings. But that's part of the magic. Come on a weekday for lunch if you can, gets very crowded on the weekend. I recommend getting five wood-fired pizzas. It'll cost you $20 and is enough food for 4-5 people (pizzas are small in size but filling). They're gourmet style, so not loaded with toppings. There is an emphasis on freshness throughout this place. Leave with some crusty bread or some Nutella doughnuts for later.
Awesome Italian food store tucked away in Assembly Drive (a street that looks pretty industrial from the outside but has a great variety of wholesale and retail stores selling meat, fresh fruit and veg, frozen/bulk foods etc). The in-store bakery makes a large assortment of fresh bread products every day and the pizzas from the wood fired oven come in a range of delicious toppings. Awesome homemade pastas and pasta sauces you can take home and prepare later.
Delicious secret. Unexpectedly situated in the middle of an industrial area, this little shop has it all happening. From hand made pastas to fresh bread to frozen home made meals - you have it all covered, at unbelievable prices.
For the same price as a coffee you can get enough handmade pasta to feed a family of three or four and these prices stretch across their entire range. Another handful of golds will get you some delicious sauce to go with it.
Fresh made wood fire pizzas, wraps, calzones, chicken schnitzel burgers - all $5.
On top of that you have a range of arancini balls and other small finger foods that cost a handful of silvers.
If you are anywhere near the area - drop by. You wont regret it.

Love going here for my pasta supplies as well as my bread. Their pizzas are simple and tasty and really well priced. Also great choices of antipasti items and cheeses.

Fantastic hands down good Caesar salad.not to mention the frozen pizza's that you can cook at home and come in a pizza box...it's amazing as a mum that you can convince 4 year old's...cap's all the way...yummmy
If your looking for everything Italian this is the place to go. Everything from deserts to breakfast and lunch and all you need for home. The staff are friendly too. Highly recommended.
