My partner loves Pepperjack so he would give this place an 11/10. Food is pretty good and we have been back twice. As the designated driver it's not bad but could use more staff BUT.. COVID.
Had our Fathers Day lunch at Salter's ! Best decision ever ! Was a beautiful menu with matching food and wine. I would most definatly recommend making the effort to go out there and try it out. 🙂 🥩🍷
Magnificent Barossa restaurant & cellar door.
A, somewhat, upscale restaurant with general pricing to match. However, so is the quality. Excellent meals served by very friendly staff. Inside can get a little noisy when full or nearly so. Concrete floors will always have that effect of amplifying noise.
There is outside seating for fine days if you'd prefer.
You have the bonus of a cellar door & high quality gift shop.
There is a actual cellar to wonder through, incorporated in the same building, with some historical photos etc. Many huge & very old wine barrels.
Food was tasty, easy to find and wait staff friendly. Not all wait staff were up to speed but were always able to try and help. A few dishes could have had more on the plate but generally quite good overall. Coffee and wine was good, not disappointed.
We had the butchers pizza, very good a generous amount of toping and great service
We were very happy with the experience from the time we got in. We were greeted by Sarah and showed us to our table. Then she happily accommodated our request to sit outside (it was a perfect summer day). She served us with a smile and was very attentive. Wife was vegetarian and the chef changed the sharing menu for the two us to accomodate the dietary requirements. Good selection of wines (of course) friendly service and amazing food. If you are visiting, go for the sharing menu and you won’t be disappointed. BTW the Pepper Jack ale was bloody good too. 👌🏾👌🏾
