◌ Wholemeal Rose Pancake 🥞 🌹
The star of the dish!! Everything was so delicious and the slight rose flavour allowed it to not been too sickening after finishing it off. There was a layer of maple syrup in each layer so it wouldn't topple over since the pancakes were quite rounded and it added to the flavour of the dish rather then it tasting dry on the bottom layers. It even had flowers as a garnish which was quite fitting as it is rose-flavoured. A must-have if you come here.
◌The Duck Waffle 🦆
The duck was well cooked and it surprisingly tasted quite well with the waffle. The only thing that I did not enjoy was the difference in temperatures for the elements of the dish. The waffle was cold which we assumed that it was sitting there for a while. If it was served warm then it would've tasted better with the duck.
◌ Smoked Salmon Benedict 🍞🍳🐟
Ugh. Delicious. I loved the lemon hollandaise sauce in this dish. It was generous and the lemon added a great element in the flavour of this dish. Every part of the dish complemented each other well and it actually was quite filling with the two eggs and bread.
◌ Triple Mushroom Sandwich 🥪 🍄
My vegetarian friend immensely enjoyed this dish. It was full of flavour from the sandwich and the truffle oil complemented the mushrooms greatly.
◌ Unicorn Granola Bowl 🦄 ✨
One of the prettiest brunch dishes that I have ever seen. The presentation was this dish was marvellous but the aesthetics of this dish did overpower the taste for it. If you do enjoy eating yoghurt then this is the dish for you since most of the dish was yoghurt with granola sprinkled on top with other garnishes. I wouldn't get this by itself unless I was ordering other dishes as well.
◌ Matcha Green Tea Latte 🍵
I couldnt get over how much detail went into the drinks that we've ordered. These were so gorgeous and flavoursome. The matcha green tea latte wasn't too sweet and it complemented well with the green tea flavour.
◌ Blue Heaven Lemonade 🍋💙
The Blue Heaven lemonade was a perfect way to cut through the sweetness of some of the dishes. It also came in its own little tray where you could pour the drink from a little goblet. Very pretty.

The store was quite small in itself so we sat on the tables outside. It is very cosy but it does seemed to be quite crammed indoors so we preferred eating outside.

We had a lovely waiter that was very receptive to our needs and gave his recommendations on the dishes. He was very attentive to what each dish was and gave a short summary of what the dishes were.

The cafe is a little away from a public train station and there isn't much traffic so its a good place to catch up with an old friend. We also came here on a weekday so you may have to wait if it was during the weekend. The pancakes were by far the best that I've ever tried so please get that dish if you were to visit. I really appreciated how much effort went into these dishes with even a sandwich having unique ingredients in order to amp up how delicious they were.

What I will say is that when there is often a lot of hype around 'instagram worthy' dishes, they sometimes don't provide much else except aesthetics. In the case of Cafe Claire they totally exceeded my expectations; the dishes tasted amazing whilst looking stunning. The rose pancakes were a stand out as they balanced the flavours of rose so well which is hard to do with such strong flavours. I look forward to going back and trying their speciality high tea too. Highly recommended.

Small space but it looks sophisticated and relax at the same time. So, I’ve tried their best seller menu, let’s see.
HOT MATCHA GREEN TEA LATTE ($4.50) – Ordering their instagrammable matcha green tea latte and yes it is so pretty and pleasing my eyes. The taste is just good. (7/10)
MONSTER’S DRINK ($7.50) – I Choose the blue heaven (lemonade) and it comes beautifully. But when I taste it, oh it the same one like I taste at café around Waterloo. I love sprite, but more than $5 just for a glass of sprite, oh come on! A pity point just for that pretty overlook drink. (5/10)
WHOLEMEAL ROSE PANCAKE ($16) with walnuts, seasonal fruit, caramel and maple syrup. The pancake is sweet like rose. The sweet rose’s smell and flavour really incorperate beautifully in this dish. Besides the sweetness of the pancake, you also find the sweetness from the maple and caramel and also the sourness from the seasonal fruits. Overall this is a great dessert. (8/10).
DUCK WAFFLE ($22) – roasted duck breast, fried egg with homemade mustard & maple sauce on side. Sweet waffle with a savory duck. It will really be perfect if they dumped out the vinegar from that sauce, just honey and a little bit mustard please. I suggest to eat it on its own because the sauce really disrupt the balanced of the dish (9/10).
Such a cute little place in Annandale :) wish they had more vegan options though as this was my only choice for a vegan brekky :( but overall good experience
Very friendly service, it’s nice when the barista says hi & smiles, nice coffee and for the food I had a sweet tooth that day so I went for the pancakes, I’m a big critic when it comes to pancakes and they where fluffy and just right bananas, blueberries & maple syrup sometimes simplicity is what you need

Everything we ordered in both high tea sessions were delicious! Love the vibes they bring to the area of Annandale. Service is always amazing and lovely - this wasn't my first visit to Cafe Claire! They have become great friends! 💕The only thing I suggest, is that they include a bit more savoury rather than majority being sweets. It is a bit harder to finish, however we still demolished it either way hahaha! 😂🍰

This place is very cute and cozy. Great for the perfect Sunday brunch 👍🏻 Food was very nice and filling. I would love to come back and experience the high tea menu.
A small cafe serving up delicious food from a tiny kitchen, they specialise in High tea so make sure you book it. I only ordered a few dishes to try and let me say it's really good. Love the plating and the taste of these dishes ... I need to come back and try the high tea.
Great coffee and exceptionally good pies of generously proportioned portions.

Just moved in across the road, have been making daily trips here for our morning coffee and the occasional bacon and egg roll. My wife is gluten intolerant and these guys cater to that really well. Coffee is consistently exceptional, lovely selection of pastries and sweets. Run by Natty and Sean and their two lovely little daughters. Great little cafe, definitely suited more to take away as it's a bit of a squeeze.
I love this place - so small and cute, everyone is always so friendly. You can pop here for a quick coffee, or if you're more interested in an instagram worthy breakfast or lunch, the food is super good and super cute. My favourite is the rose pancakes.
They also do a "high tea" which I've never had but I've seen others have and it looks like so much fun for a group of friends or a birthday brunch celebration.
This place was on my list of places to go. Small place on a quiet street by the busy Parramatta road. Worth checking out if you're nearby. Great coffee and the food is tasty and decorative. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. You can sit inside or there's two tables outside.
A nice but little cafe at the corner. They don’t have a lot of space,but really make it into a cozy place.The plating was impressive,my wholemeal rose pancake was warm and delicate.The touch of rose was slight but adorable.The burger was also nice ,my friend loved it. We definitely had a lovely brunch here.
