We went as a family of 7 (6 adults, 1 child) for an early dinner Saturday afternoon. We were all so impressed with the whole set up. The drinks were excellent, something for everyone and we were most impressed with the food..pork tacos, pork nachos, salmon gravlax, steak sandwich, lamb rump all cooked beautifully and the kids burger and chips - great! I would even just go for the chips! I just want to point out for people to try these new places for themselves - I read some really negative reviews about Quarter Acre and can tell you our experience was wonderful. Also the music was great, not too loud it just created a great atmosphere, Overall we can’t wait to go back!
Had a Saturday lunch with a group in the garden area. Great vibe outdoors if the sun is shining and plenty of room for pairs, groups and even kids. Friendly staff and good service. Meals a reasonable variety of small and full-sized and well presented and priced - except the fries, which all our group complained about being cold, soggy and disappointing for a pub. I had the salmon main which was perfect. Not been there for dinner or indoors when whether colder. Looks set to be a well-supported new local venue - desperately needed in the Applecross area.
Very friendly and helpful bar staff. We had a steak sandwich and the char chicken salad. Both were very good. Steak sandwich was super tasty and the steak was cooked perfect, so it was easy to bite into. Will be back
First time. Staff very observant. Meals excellent the nachos could have been hotter. House red & white nice. Recommended and reasonably quiet. Music could be a touch lower.
