This is a good working-cafe in Applecross, containing the trifecta of coffee, power point plugs, and free wifi.
I've always received great service by the staff, with the best coffee made by the owner. Other employees can burn the coffee on occasion, so keep an eye out for that.I always feel welcome here no matter how long I stay, though it can get noisy when there are lots of customers. This doesn't usually detract from my experience as I've only rarely had to leave because it became too noisy to work inside.
I love the quirky decor and the reasonably-priced toasties sold here. The music is unobtrusive and the seating is very comfortable for a few hours working on the laptop. The tables are also well-sized for working as well as having a small meal.
Came for an early Sunday brekkie to this little café; first one through the door. I ordered at the counter the smoked salmon benedict with spinach and a long Mac topped up. Coffee came out quickly and was good, although slightly hotter would have been perfect. Brekkie took a little while, but was delicious when it arrived. Spinach was fresh and not cooked. Reasonable prices and good food.
Enjoyed our all day breakfast today. Staff were very friendly and food quality was great. It was a bit chilly outside and the staff helped us to move inside when a vacancy became available. Thanks for looking after the four of us.
