Really delicious vegan eats-- great flavors and textures! I've had some great tofu scramble before, but theirs is a whole new level of amazing. First and only plant-based bacon I've ever liked, plus that satay tofu damn.
It's a small place but totally worth the wait (and hopefully there will be a bigger cafe in future!) I love the different options and specials throughout the week. They also have GF options and the chef is conscientious of people who are coeliac to ensure you have a good meal ^_^. Staff are all very friendly and efficient and food comes out pretty quickly even when they are full. I just wished I lived closer so I can visit every day.
Everything about this place is awesome, the food is top notch, the drinks are excellent and the staff are superb, I cannot recommend them enough!
This place is a cute little gem that we just discovered. Perfect for my vegan girl and me who’s transitioning that way.

THE FOOD AT SALEM IS DELICIOUS!
I can't begin to explain how amazingly talented the chef is. Salem is my go to for a satisfying meal with so many different drool worthy specials each week.
Only downside is their food is so good you have to get in quick before they sell out!

Salem Cafe has been on the list of places to try for a very long time and I just haven't ever made it there.
Today that all changed!
Firstly I absolutely loved the whole atmosphere of this cute little cafe. The way the place is decorated was so cool and cozy.
As we walked in we were instantly greeted by the staff and offered a menu and a heads up of the special. This is always a good sign as sometimes I feel this side of customer service is left out, not here.
We sat down and perused the menu, so many options to choose from and just a reminder that I will need to go back soon to try them all.
I ended up getting the big breakfast with a side of crunchy pickles (they were so crunchy and good) with the Good Morning iced coffee. Perfect for today's temp in Adelaide. My partner chose the Hank and a normal iced coffee. Which she loved and I wanted more than the bite she offered.
The food was amazing and I left being so incredibly full. I was tempted by the assortment of sweets on the way out but I knew I had no room for them, today.

Ooooooh my goodness amazing! This is coming from someone who isn't vegetarian or vegan. The food and drinks are just straight up magic, which I don't understand how it can possibly be plant based after now trying many deserts, sandwiches and sodas! Not forgetting to mention the amazingly friendly staff that will go above and beyond for you, on top of the nice atmosphere (big fan of the decorations, especially that tiny wooden hut). Also a good place for dog spotting, glad to see all the pups I miss seeing on Salem's instagram! ;D
Omg always the absolute best! Great food, awesome service. Honestly the best vegan sandwiches around. Also the special green curry was amazing
