Beautiful beautiful food. Customer service excellent. Reasonably fast in preparing the food. Clean place. And just so delicious. Sadly don't live in Sydney to enjoy it more and more. Oh.... Cash only business so be prepared too.
We had the time of our lives. Genuine Egyptian dishes, made by real Egyptian chefs. We had kebab, kofta, chicken tawook, mombar (wow), salads and Basbosa for desert! Honestly, nothing like it! Very friendly staff. The resturant is also well layed out, with great wall art from Egyptian classic media. Also great advice on how to head back to hotel after our visit. Thank you all!
We were the 1st customers of the day. Served by the boss himself. Great food and service. Ordered moza, koshary, medium chips ($45 for 2). A little too much but moza is excellent. Will surely come back again to try other dishes.
Had dinner with my wife. We ordered mahshi, kousharie, and rice with lamb. Everything were really good and tasty! Bring me back to my hometown :) Thank you for serving good Egyptian food.

We ordered:
> kebab, kufta & chicken as a recommendation from the owner. The chicken was the best part.
> Egyptian lasagne was light and sweet. My friend and I both liked it
> mahahie mixed which was monbar wrapped in cabbage or vine leaves (last one pictured. I personally loved the flavour of the vine leaves, but my friend preferred the cabbage)
The owner/s were welcoming! We got to try an eggplant side dish which was delightful.
Finally, we also decided to order dessert: Mahallabia and Basbousa. The mahallabia is a milky dessert that looks like a very white creme brûlée and tastes like creamy, condensed milk. The basbousa looks like a mini caramel slice and is VERY sweet but the sweetness is slightly offset by its crumbly texture
Bother desserts are very delicious, though personally we both preferred the mahallabia and would definitely order it again.
We really enjoyed this restaurant and know where to go now if we want some Egyptian cuisine ~

One of the most authentic Egyptian restaurants I've ever been to.
I've never been to Egypt but visited this place with an Egyptian friend and he thinks the food here taste like the food back in Egypt
The staff is super friendly and the place is very clean and tidy

Very traditional Egyptian fare. Ordered the Mahshe and Kawera Soup with fatteh. Nice! The owner even gave us traditional mint tea and sweet (basboosa). Nicer!
