Travelling through lovely Bargara.
We ordered:
1: Sweet Lip with chips $15 - was a very solid piece of fish, slightly dry but probably because of the type of fish
2: Red Emperor with chips $14 - the fish was as expected, juicy, fleshy, great quality
3: 6 pieces of calamari with chips $10.30. The calamari rings were huge and tender.
Took the fish and chips to eat by the ocean. Bloody amazing.
One tiny comment - would be cool if the golden and crispy batter stuck to the fish a little better. Chicken salt and crispiness of the chips was spot on. All round great fish and chips
Ordered through uber eats, after nearly an hr and a half waiting our order was cancelled. I rang the store and they said if we could come and collect they'd make sure the order was good to go. The food when we picked up was fresh,hot and tasty. Would recommend!!

Fish was good....chips fresh....young lady at the counter was somewhere else.....we should have been told the lemon and tartar were in the packs. Would not have bought more.....asked a couple of questions regarding the menu....got half responses. 🤔
We had Fish & Chips last Sunday and the Fish was delicious & chips where perfect , will definitely be back nxt time we come down from CQ 👍😀
Can’t say I agree with below. I waited about 10 minutes for the $15 Legends pack.

Forget Bundaberg, make the short drive to Bargara for the absolute BEST fish and chips!
Their fish is always super fresh and cooked to perfection! Their delicious chips and calamari rings alone are worth the drive! It’s obvious the cooking oil is clean and changed regularly. The staff is courteous, professional and friendly. The servings are generous and excellent value for money. Picnic tables with beautiful, tranquil views of the ocean are just around the corner on the esplanade; the perfect setting for mouthwatering, crispy fish and chips! Five Stars!!!
