We like North Garden and get along when we can – as we hadn’t been for a while and on the way home driving from town we decided to stop and grab an early dinner. The BWS almost next door was our first stop and now armed with a bottle of Xanadu Cabernet Sauvignon we walked in to the usual friendly welcome from owner, Joanne, who was setting up for a large group who arrived a few minutes later – it is a popular neighbourhood spot.
This place has good food and I have been here many times for their lunch specials. It is consistent quality and that is what makes or breaks a restaurant
It was absolutely divine! I had that fried duck with plum sauce. It was cooked perfectly but I'm not a fan of fried. Though it only came that way. We are going back again!
I discovered this place when I walked past one day and noticed the lunch specials. $10 for noodles such as Mee Goreng, and cheaper for meat and rice dishes. And you can get them as dinner dishes, though it's $1 extra and takeaway only. The food was very good. It leaves you comfortably full. The staff are nice and friendly, and patient when you don't know what to get!
Best Chinese takeaway I have had in a VERY long time. Would highly recommend the beef black bean!! And the fried rice, packed full of prawns, onion etc. Awesome.
Perth Asian Food and Culture Group. As a host for the above group, I am lucky enough too try some of Perths best Asian restaurants. Tonight I have been pleasantly surprised by this gem. The prices 4 of us ate, and we ordered 3 mains, budha vegetables, and a large special rice and it was $18.00 each.

We get Chinese takeaway from them almost every Friday night! Love their dishes, best Chinese in perth I've had! I especially love their lemon chicken, comb omelettes and Mongolian lamb!!
