Chef's Catch. This is what fish and chips are all about, great range perfectly cooked and reasonably priced. Do yourself a favour and try the calamari it's outstanding.
The chips were very crispy and the fish was nice and juicy. The staff were very accomodating and gave lots of recommendations. Definitely a very pleasant experience and would come back here again.
We were looking for lunch at about 3.00 pm and luckily came across Chef's Catch We ordered the Blue Grenadier. Never had it before but recommended by the lovely staff. Food came out and WOW it was just superb. The $5.00 chips was huge, this would have to be one of the best fish and chips I have had. Price was excellent, service was excellent, want to take these guy's back to QLD to have more.
We initially went to the shop around the corner but baulked at 32$ a plate, so we quickly drove to Chef Catch, they were under the pump and busy as hell, but a table and seats was made up especially for us. The food was amazing, well cooked and fresh. The prawn loaded fries were amazing and a must if you come here.
Just moved to Beauty Point. Their chips are the best I’ve EVER tasted! Service is absolutely outstanding! Staff are very friendly! Will definitely be back 😊
Came back today (11/3), & had crumbed prawns & chips. Delicious!
I had the flake and chips. The chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - spot on. I was pleasantly surprised that the generous piece of battered fish wasn't greasy like many that I have had before. It even came with a tub of tartare sauce. Great taste and excellent value.

Today we visited for the first time. We will be retuning . Fish and chips ( tasty, tasty , tasty ) followed by a great VDL ice cream. We sat outside because we had our puppy who was also made welcome. Not to mention the friendly staff. Thank you for adding to our day out. My only criticism is scallops need to be Tasmanian scallops , however what I had were tasty and well cooked . My wife asked to mention the great chips.
The staff are really friendly and nothing is impossible to them.
