It’s like being in a Korean family home dinner setting. While the environment is not the most modern looking or well kept but the food is tasty and reasonably priced. We were greeted with a friendly “eo seo o sae yo” and we saw that there is a large area in the back to dine in. We sat there and it’s nice to see real plants rather than the plastic ones you see in a lot of new places these days. They are all healthy and cared for. Some background music would be nice for ambience. K-pop maybe? I don’t know, but something is better than nothing. The menu was very Korean focused and could be daunting is you’ve never had Korean before. Lots of options. We had a sweet and sour pork belly, rice pancakes and cold noodles. It was all super tasty with generous servings along with typical side dishes you’d expect with a sit down Korean meal. The pork had a nice texture and well cooked. The rice cakes had the spicyness that crept up on you but the ice noodles helped cool that down. The ice noodles has a lovely sour accent to them. Service was friendly enough and the food came in a timely manner. A nice little local spot where I look forward to trying their BBQ the next time we visit.

This is such a cute little restaurant tucked away in Belmore. They have great little skewers of meat all cooked over coal at your table in a very rustic refurbished back yard setting. Their menu also extends to Asian salads, stews, noodles and rice dishes. I always leave here stuffed which is a great sign that I fully enjoyed the meal!

The place looks run down but the authentic North Chinese and Korean food is very good.
