My husband and I had our wedding reception upstairs at The Rifle and it was amazing! The food was beautiful and having our own bar made it a lot easier for our guests to get their own drinks! The staff were so helpful, kind and easy to deal with, they did all the setting up for us, and they did an exceptional job!! The Rifle certainly made our night so relaxed and easy! Highly recommend the rifle for your next function or even for a night out!!

It was ok, service was prompt, the vibe was busy but then might be Ive got used to been in lockdown 😆 , if anything ( this is why my 4 star rating) I expected my wife's mocktail served in a nicer glass🍹 and not just in a common pub glass with no catching eye detail 🍓other than that keep the good work up😉

Great pub with loads of ambience & atmosphere. After a long day of flights (topped off with a small family emergency back home) we made our way to this iconic pub and wasn't disappointed. Met with friendly staff (shout out to Bree) and nice cold beers to help settle our day. Bree went above and beyond to look after us and seated us near the warm fire place as we had some lovely comfort food for dinner. Highly recommend.

We visited the Elvis From Graceland exhibition. It was absolutely amazing. Staff friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.

The food was fast, excellent quality and plenty for the price. The entrance bar is a little cramped but the rest of the parts of the building are laid out to negate this. The outside seating area is open and spacious. Love that they have local products featured. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Overall looking forward to my next visit.

Had a lovely lunch at The Rifle Brigade Hotel yesterday. The food was really delicious with large portions for the the money. They have a few gluten free options which is good and the waitress asked if my gluten free meal was due to coeliac disease and which I really appreciated that they are considerate of that. I had the gluten free lemon pepper calamari which was flavourful and soft. My parents had the steak and the stuffed chicken which they both loved. Special thanks to our first waiter Fraser who was extremely accommodating to my mum. There was initially only tables available outside, we asked if it was possible to sit inside and initially was offered a bar table and bar chairs, due to my mum's injured leg it would have been hard for my to get up on a bar chair. Fraser did his best and found us a normal table. My mum was extremely appreciative. Wonderful experience and definitely would be back.
