This place is worth a try. I am a regular customer to this pocket friendly place . Lets just deal with a fact that authentic indian taste is available only in India . But this place is not far for being an authentic Indian restaurant. Daal makhani is my favourite and butter chicken is just a cherry on the top.
They are serving best for the value. Give it a try , if you don’t like it then also its fine atleast not as expensive as other non Indian but Indian restaurant around
We order takeaway from this place almost every other week and we have never been disappointed! The food is delicious for the low price and serving size is good!
Food quality and quantity is good but very poor customer service. No respect for customer at all.. I will prefer to order online instead.. Very poor customer service but good food makes it an average restaurant.
Appearances can be deceiving! This little establishment set on a busy centre road served up a delicious fare. I highly recommend popping in and sampling the menu. Although the aesthetics aren’t top notch, the authentic flavours of indulgent India are infused in all dishes!
When I saw the prices I wasn't expecting much but living in bentleigh with like 10 indian restaurants with a 2km radius from my house, this is probably one of the best I have had and definitely best value for money. Been twice and really happy both times. Will certainly be going on a regular basis.
Hands down the BEST Indian food I have EVER had. Cuts of meat were of high quality and generously portioned. Flavour was out of this world ... I seriously think the chef should consider entering Master Chef! Nicely appointed restaurant - BYO a plus and so reasonably priced. Value for money. - We will definitely be going back very soon and I can't wait.
I can easily say that, this is the best Indian cuisine in the area. I just tried their butter chicken today and it was amazing. Very high quality and fresh ingredients and of course very tasty. I am so happy that I found you guys. Thanks and keep up the fantastic work!!!
I am an expat of Glasgow, who considers Indian curry to be the national dish of the UK. Sadly, after 15 years of curry disappointment in Australia I have come to accept that Australia cannot deliver anything as good as a Glasgow curry.
Until recently, Sanjha Chulha (centre road) delivered that familiar beautiful taste, every bit as good as one from home. Creamy and rich, tandoori chicken, pakora. I have some visitors here from Scotland who agree!
I’m very pleased to have these guys in town.
This was my first time I ordered takeaway food from Sanjha Chulha. The chicken tikka masala and saffron rice were delicious. I requested the curry to be extra hot, and I was not disappointed. Portions are generous and reasonably priced. So glad to have a good Indian restaurant in my local area - I’ll definitely come back again
Updating my previous review!!!!
There food is still delicious and has authentic taste but their service is soooooo poor. After our first order they disappointed us on every next order. Today was the peak if frustration. Lady on the phone said our order pickup will he ready in 20- 25 minutes, understandable as it's Saturday. We went to pickup after 30 minutes, it wasn't ready. They asked to wait another 10 minutes, still not ready...... again asked 15 minutes, we kept waiting until 90 minutes passed. It took them 1hr 30 minutes to make 2 curries ready. After all day of work, we were not ready for this. With hungry stomach it was so frustrating to wait in the car with two little ones.
NEVER GOING BACK...
Poor poor poor very poor service.
