📝: First time trying this Thai restaurant and already want to order again! Been craving food from home lately, this is just perfect! They do deliveries as well.
❤️: I’ve always been a big fan of Pad Thai, especially when it’s prawns. Also love delicious chicken wings, served with fried garlic on top (the highlight!).

First time visiting here after finding them through The Fork with a discount of 50% food bill. We were impressed with the menu and the variety of dishes on offer. Everything we ordered tasted delicious and authentic and we just loved it. And very glad that we found this place, as it's another thai place we can put on our local place to eat at. Unfortunately, the service absolutely let them down. The attention was simply not there despite there being 3 wait staff. The number of times we had to call them over was just too many. Worst was when it was clear we had finished eating with all the empty dishes, no one cleared our table for ages whilst the 3 ladies just stood at the counter chatting. They didn't come to us to offer dessert, rather we had to call one of them over to order and still they didn't clear the table!
If it wasn't for the food being excellent, this review would most likely get 3 stars. We are likely to return as dishes were delicious and priced reasonably. Just wish customer service and care was there to make it more of a lovely experience!
Modern and authentic Thai restaurant 🍴😋Food: We ordered the Thai style buffalo wings (chicken), Soft shell crab salad, Pad Thai prawn and Pad Se Ew chicken. Everything was delicious, generously portioned and the Thai style buffalo chicken wings were so good!! 🏙️Ambience: Modern, clean and beautiful decor 😁 Good for date nights and groups
Nice modern renovated restaurant with friendly service. Tasty food however the beef stir fry didn’t have a variety of veggies so made the dish almost like a beef salad. Chicken pad see ewe was the standout. Restaurant has potential but the chef needs to be a bit more adventurous with flavours.
Fabulous food and a very cool and funky restaurant. Staff could be a little more attentive but food service, quality and quantity was good. We particularly loved the Pad Thai and green curry.
Food was really nice. Ordered the betal leaf platter where you make your own betal leaf wrap as entree. Very delicious and fresh. Thai fish cakes were home-made and flavourful. Whole fried fish was crispy and cut up for us so easy to eat with no bones. Fish was moist. Thai green curry was flavourful and a generous serve. Food is a little pricey but it is near the beach so you can go for a walk after! Service was a little slow and it took a few tries to get a server’s attention. The service was friendly and polite though. A lovely restaurant to have a meal.
Cashew chicken is epic. Consistent, good food and service.
Surprisingly I didn't like their Pad Thai noodles, but everything else has been great.
Had take away once not long after it opened then followed up with eating in a couple of weeks later. Chicken with cashew nut is an absolute must - sensational. Lovely service, delicious food, great vibe inside. Currently contemplating heading there for dinner tonight!
So 3 of us decided to scout out this new gem in the neighbourhood, and we had a fabulous time at this lovely restaurant over the weekend. Friendly and cheerful staffs made our dining experience absolutely delightful, interior was cozy yet elegant, and the food was wonderful at a reasonable price!

I love a good Thai restaurant, and this was a great find. I imagine coming here in summer with all of the beach goers, would make parking a nightmare, but in winter months when it's just a bit quieter, this is well worth the 20 minute drive for me.
The food is so good and I can't wait to come back again. The tables are a bit small, so sometimes it's hard to know where to put all of the dishes, but everything was so tasty and good. It was a little hard to share the entrees when two people's orders come out in the same dish and they're sitting separately. But both the spring rolls and curry puffs were great, and my chicken fried rice was heavenly. Of course no good meal is complete without a good dessert, and their fried bananas were great as well.
I don't love it when dishes come out all out of sync and some early, some really late, so if they could just improve on getting all of the food out at the same time, then this would be my perfect Thai restaurant around. Definitely recommend it for sure.

Terrific, well-priced Thai cuisine. One of the best in this area, which is saying a lot. The friends I invite are never disappointed. The coconut prawns are well worth tasting. Friendly and helpful staff. A winner.

Edit: we've been here many many times since, dine in, group, family and takeout.
Still love it. In fact had take out tonight and it was superb. Very happy family.
Best when eaten in as it is a nice place to go. Beer on tap, wine available.
I can't think of many restaurants that are this dependable for great food.

Just the two of us. Decided to support a local that needs it.
Well weren't we surprised? We have never been to Smile Buffalo before as we have a Thai restaurant that we quite like.
The food, the best we have eaten. Both of us could not stop taking about how good it was.
Taste. Texture. Colour. The whole meal was superb.
The service was really good too.
The menu choices are broad. As a first visit we played it relatively safe for our preferences. Entre of chicken satay, curry puffs and crumbed prawns.
Mains of chicken with chili and cashews, beef with red curry and pineapple. The chicken was, the best, really the best, taste I've had in a long time. Even when we were both full I picked at it just to make sure my memory was right.
Even the roti was good. Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside!
So yes. We've got a new favourite and will be going back. Fortunately they are super close so this is definitely a win for us.
Atmosphere is relaxed. Suitable for two like us enjoying some time together, small groups and I will recommend to my son's for dates!
Order the chicken. You'll thank me!

Great neighbourhood find. Extensive menu and approachable with a good mix of spice and non spice dishes so good for the whole group
Takeaway was super efficient and in time - separated the duck curry so it didn’t stew

Very nice place for thai food with good service as well. We were there for dinner to celebrate the lunar New Year and we ordered whole table of dishes including BBQ, soup, deep fry Buffallo wings, thai style fry rice with eye.
